AMC showed half hour "previews" every 3 hours on the hour it seemed, and I still couldn't be bothered to watch the show.
Much much better than "Mad Men".

I found Mad Men to be very stylish, yet very hollow. Breaking Bad, however, delivers on all accounts.
Terrific show !

When it gets more attention. I think people will have a hard time dealing with the main character. You see, when you know you're going to die soon, society's manufactured and false moralities tend to lose a bit of their sheen. The main character, while admittedly selfish on some level while at the same time making a sacrifice for the sake of his family, is watching his idea of how the world works under the surface crumble. At the same time, his young assistant is seeing his potential and realizing the opportunities he lost. And they're both starting to realize they may have been wrong about each other. But it's such a slow, realistic arc, it stands out as one of the best, complicated relationships ever put on the tube. If you haven't seen this show, it's a must-see. That's if you're comfortable facing a few elephants in the room. Throw in a season finale that practically turns this cancer-ridden crank-cook into a superhero or at the very least a badass, and you have the potential to take this thing anywhere. A second season was a must.

It's the first show in a very long time to get me excited about tuning in every weekend. I got my girlfriend and a few friends to watch it last season and they were hooked. Keep up the good work this coming season.
Awesome news.

Breaking Bad is good but Mad Men is in its own league. Possibly the best show ever made next to LOST. I like BB but I was sort of put off by the teacher not taking his friend's job offer. Think about your family instead of your selfish pride.
"Mad Men" about put me in a comatose.

Okay --- okay I get it, people in the 1960s were jerks, cheated on their spouses, and smoked alot. Next show, please?

Honestly I only watched like 3 or 4 episodes... and it felt like weak rehash of "Desperate Housewives" --- except with a 1960s backdrop. Am I missing something here? Does "Man Men" drastically improve later on? Maybe I should give it one more chance... hmmz...
Your Mother country loves American Movie Classics.

In Britain we thank God for Mad Men, shown on BBC Four every Sunday, we're upto about episode 10....and it's simply the best looking television show ever made.

I doubt Breaking Bad will reach these shores, due to a lack of resolution in the first Season, but hopefully with this stunning news of a second season, Channel 4 will snap up the rights.

Because Breaking Bad is some of the darkest, and greatest television available to man.
My mother country also hired Timothy Dalton as 007

that theyre FUCKING CALLED AMERICAN MOVIE CLASSICS. Not American Series Modern Classics. i remember a time when AMC was on par with TCM without any commercials and just for the movies, now these greedy crack whores love their ad money and instead of try to be like TCM again theyre just going forth with "edgy" and "well written" TV series. Well AMC, you can take your Mad Men and Breaking Bad and POUND them up your swampy sphincters. Fuckhairs.
Breaking Bad is simply amazing

Seemed like a no-brainer that Breaking Bad needed to come back, and I'm pretty sure Mad Men is already filming again. Both shows were far better than your common network show by leaps and bounds.

that I almost stopped watching due to it making me so depressed. All the stuff with Walter and his family was so well done. It fucking pained me to watch him give into hsi wife and the chemo, when it's not how he wanted to be living his life.
