Seriously, if they fuck up the Jim and Pam relationship, then fuck this shit for good. Finally, we could get a relationship that sits in the background and is pleasant without all this "cheating" and "breaking up" nonsense. Fuck that.

That's by far the funniest character relationship in the show, I can't believe they're ending it.

Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carrell) says something awkward and then the rest of the characters have to react to what Michael (Golden Glob winner Steve Carrell) said.

Seriously though, is it in Steve Carrell's contract to remind everyone every five minutes he won a Golden Globe? Love the show but come on press release writers, we get it already. It's a good show. It's won awards.

Actually, I think it would make a great plot if Michael won some sort of pithy award and had to work it in to every conversation. Drop me a line Steve Carrell and I'll have a script on your desk by the end of the week. Hell, maybe it will win you another Golden Globe.

The funniest moment of this season is when Michael pushed Toby's tray mid-speech. Actually, that might be the ONLY funny moment of this season. The Office has been pretty bad this year...

What are the odds that an oscar-nominated actress, who's film career is finally starting to take off, would join the cast of a TV show as a regular?

Despite the dearth of episodes the show has been funny as hell. I especially love the dynamic between Michael and Ryan which ranges from adoration to seething hatred. On one occasion Michael called Ryan an asshole and on another episode he called him a "little bitch", both of which were laugh out loud moments. My theory is that Ryan will eventually be demoted, making his life a living hell when he returns to work at the Scranton office. Maybe he'll even get back together with Kelly.

An engagement, someone's leaving, and a pregnancy...

that's what Mike Ausiello and Kristin over at E! are saying for the finale. Since the show has set us up for the Jim/Pam engagement, I'm sure that's not big enough. I'll go on the record now by saying Andy and/or Dwight will propose to Angela; someone besides Toby will be leaving in the finale (Probably Andy, or whoever will head the spin-off next fall); and Pam will be preggers. Prove me wrong, Office!

i can't believe people get so riled up about this part of the show. i would easily rate it the worst part about the show. don't get me wrong they have some funny moments, but what's with all the lovey-dovey bs? this is a comedy, isn't it?

in fairness regarding the oscar nominated actress joining the cast of a TV show, remember...she just WAS a regular (not as much the past two seasons as season 2, but still) on a TV show: The Wire (aka the greatest show in the history of television)

Toby gets Ryan's job - brilliant on so many levels but he's not in sales or really business at all so I can't imagine it happening. Jan returning to reveal she's pregnant to Michael would be the tops, especially considering we would evenutally find out Michael's not the father (perhaps after she awkwardly gives birth to a mixed-race baby), but a close second would be Angela being impregnated with Andy or Dwight's child in a moment of weakness. Either one of these femmes at the mercy of pregnancy hormones would be epic and excrutiating. Jim and Pam get engaged, 'natch, but Jim's transformation into Michael Scott, Jr. is, sadly, too far advanced to be stopped.

you don't actually think that Steve Carrell personally writes these summaries, do you kiddo? they're put out by the network as a PROMOTION, so they PROMOTE the awards the show and the actors have won.

man, there's always got to be one weirdo confused hater in every talkback.

I really do. But I don't think I'm the only one who's worked for some College boy who knows about 1/10th as much as he thinks he does. And while that particular boss outlasted me at that particular job, I found his number through information when he finally got fired and I laughed and laughed at him. Possibly the most cathartic moment of my life.

One of the funniest of the season. The only thing that didn't do much for me was the long Michael talking head at the end. Creed stole the episode again.

The actress playing her is currently pregnant and they said they won't be writting it into the show. Why would they go to the trouble to hide her pregnant body to later have her character become pregnant.
