to the live action Harlock. I can already smell the cheesy awfulness sure to come from this joint venture. There's no way a Korean or Japanese studio can produce anything worthy. The 70's TV series was beyond awesome. All the anime since have been far less so. A live action Harlock is all but guaranteed to stink. Though come to think of it, they'll probably break even with all the Italian and French Harlock fanatics... And Batman anime looks awesome. They should do a LOT more American written, Japanese made animated works, esp if they're going to assemble that caliber of talent. "Conventional" American idea driven stories are far more likely to penetrate the American market and make anime far more acceptable as it's own art medium.

death note is one of the best anime shows i have seen in years.the live action movie is o.k. but there also is a part 2

ADV lost or gave up the license. Good news. Also, Macross F is doing well, and we're now three episodes into the series, Strongly suggest everyone check it out.
