Still, dickheads aside, we need more GI Joe on this section, assuming they're still producing Joe titles. I know the Devil's Due license is up this year. Does anyone have any more information on this?

Did it make you feel dirty and worthless? I don't mind people being first, but detest those who feel the need to shout it out and leave the comment field blank. Now back onto the topic of comics... I really feel the need to not only dig out my old GI Joe comics, but also delve into the Devil's Due issues too, because I have a few of their posters on my wall, but haven't read a single issue.

Bite the hand that types much?

"Hey, you're a stupid scumbag, but can you get me some information?" Who cares who's first? C'mon...

As to your question, there's a rumor that IDW will pop up with the license, but I don't have confirmation. If anyone else does, let us know.

I kinda thought the nature of Mitch's powers were right there in the title. He got them because the story required him to have them.
Once and for all people, the word is Canon.

A cannon is a large device that fires out cannonballs and was used during the Civil War and on old ships. Canon is what holds a fictional universe together, it's dense continuity that makes a universe feel real to some, and hard to follow for others. Writers do frequently violate a story's canon, but I've yet to see anybody violating any cannons in anything I've ever read or seen.
But wouldn't it be cool

I'm a little worried about Pinocchio. I hope the citizens of Fabletown are keeping their eyes on that guy. After the relative success of the battles for Haven I am wary of the pendulum swinging the other way.
And congratulations...

...on the FIRST. By now you know there is no feeling of pride, accomplishment or satisfaction to be had by being FIRST...but you gotta be FIRST to find that out. Now you know.

Now you also know that the petty, jealous and small minded will attack you for your FIRSTitude. Let them tire themselves out from bitching, 'til they retreat to their corner of the basement to re-read their GI JOES.

:^)

There is some definite dark shit on the horizon.

First was everything I hoped it would be and more, better than a hand job from a tranny in Penn Station.

I don't even read D&D novels, but I've seen the myriad Forgotten Realms books with his name on the cover in the bookstores. (I did read his Star Wars novel, Vector Prime. It was okay, I guess. I heard it was heavily edited by LucasBooks.) Salvatore co-created Spooks and co-writes with Hama and Schifrin. It's Adam Archer and Jonny Rench you should crediting with the artwork.

It was an article saying that there would be a Transporter 2, and my subject line read, "I hope it's better than the first." See what I did there? I also then wrote something else about how Statham was cool, but the movie was silly. Back to the Orbiting Cogstation now…

I checked out his myspace and I look forward to getting the book. The thing that sucks is publisher's would say that this book wouldn't sell in this market. Which is ridiculous because sells have more to do with marketing than product at times and if you don't market it , it won't sell. How else can you explain the load of crap out their that does sell? I mean for god's sakes, 10,000 B.C. was green lit and made tons in box office revenue and everybody knows it is complete shit!

In that issue, despite being generally awesome, well-paced, and intriguing, it had a throw-away line that bugged the crap out of me, when Cindy was saying how it was a good thing that the goon was knocked out so he wouldn't see how STRONG a popular Fable can be. Now, I fully accept the idea that a Fable's popularity makes them hard to destroy, because their popularity means that they have to exist so their stories can continue to exist, but the idea that that would also make them superhumanly strong for some reason seems wrong to me. If anything, they should be more exagerated toward how they are percieved because of their story, or they should change some as popular tellings of their stories change, but the strength thing seems wrong. With excalibur and the witching cloak and magic in general out there already, we don't need any more arbitrary power assignations juicing things up.
