season 1 was very good season 2 was total action fitchner added so much, and being totally open and on the run made the story flow better. season 3 - interesting but certainly the weakest, lot of the plot could have been told in half the time. I think if you can look past the ridiculousness of the situations with the show you can get some great guilty pleasure entertainment from it. Non-stop action, never a boring episode.

This show needs an adequate ending and if it would have stopped at season 3 I would have been mighty pissed off. The show gets a lot of flack, but honestly, who needs realism when you have well-developed characters, solid acting performances, and constant action with twists aplenty? Not me. Not every show can be perfect in all areas and Prison Break is great in enough areas to keep my attention span.

The premiere was absolutely brilliant. Sure, it dragged a little, but season 2 was more better overall than season 1, which was also great, but season 2 blew it away. As for season 3, it had its moments (woohoo for the box!!), but it did drag far too much. Here's hoping they get back to the craziness of season 2 with season 4!

There was an improvement in ratings from last week to this week (people finding the new timeslot), and it's holding a lot of Smallville's audience. So far it's looking better for renewal than it did before it came back, but this week will be the real test (I think it's the only new show in its timeslot this week)

i was a fan for seasons 1 and 2, watched every episode, own the dvds, but always realized that what i was watching was total shit. in a mostly good way. i only saw maybe a third of season 3 and probably won't be watching season 4. enough is enough. two seasons should have been enough to tell this story... if fox doesn't renew SCC i'm gonna be pissed.

It was the perfect bookend to the escape, with a fugitive style chase across the country (only with like 8 different fugitives). Finchter was a complete badass, there was a lot of cool twists and action. Even the panama stuff was great, until the idiot producers decided to prolong the show and have them caught again. What a stupid cop-out. They should have ended 2 with them escaping, and then they could have done 3 about their revenge on the company or something.

Here's how I would have done the third season. It's a year later (or whatever). Michael and Lincoln are free, living in some wonderful tropical country. Some hot chick approaches Michael, having tracked him down. She needs his help to get her brother OUT of a prison and needs Michael to break IN. Throw in a few "twists." The prison is some new supermax-homeland-security- super-impenetrable prison et cetera. The guy's sister insists her brother is innocent, but he turns out to be a guilty. And he's into something real nasty which Michael has to stop near the end of the season. Michael also bags the hot chick.

The first season was about how this guy was purposefully going into the hardest-to-break-out-of prison in the world then somehow do the impossible and break out of it. Now he's in some ratty 3rd world rusted barnyard prison where people can go wherever they want and even have access to some underground tunnel system that basically gives them unlimited escape options. To a viewer like me, I didn't understand how Michael wouldn't be able to break out of this place in half a day. That's why I stopped watching. Since I stopped watching after season 3 ep 1, I probably missed some episodes that claimed Michael actually had to stay in the prison for some reason, but I don't care - that basic season 3 premise just doesn't work structurally or logically. I'm always up for dumb fun, but you gotta make it somewhat believable.

He was the coolest thing in Season 2. And then, when he came back for Season 3, he became half the man he was before. Sure, he had his drug problems and all the other stuff but they totally fucked up his character. Gone was the criminal-killing Sherlock Holmes style FBI badass, and in came the man with puppy-eyes who trailed around after the others and more or less begged them to take him with them. Terrible.

So yeah, they kill demagogue leader and barely escape, only to have someone coming after them. They eventually get captured and sent to, yes you guessed it, another hardcore prison with yet another demagogue who owns the respect of everyone, including the guards, who actually work for him. Or maybe this time it's a homicidal warden. Bottom line, this show sucks. The only thing worth watching is Jodi Lynn O'keefe. You want a bad ass warden? Go watch Shawshank Redemption. Also it's turn out Sarah wasn't really dead and she comes to visit Michael. But he is betrayed by some dude and the prisoners take control! Then Michael and Sarah must escape from the prisoners and his own prison. The only problem is Michael designed a "super AI prison program" called C.A.G.E. that controls the prison. It's so brilliant that even Michael doesn't think he can escape... Is that stupid enough? That hurt just writing it...

I'm sure some of the fans already knew this? This show was based on The Great Escape - you know, the Steve McQueen film? So the plan was FIRST SEASON: they're in prison and they break out - SECOND SEASON: they're on the run and get recaptured one by one... Now... the first season did so well, just like with The Matrix, TPTB said oh we gotta have MORE! So they created a SEASON THREE: they're back in prison... The first two seasons were planned out - like, say (dare I say it?) Lost - but the third season (and it seems the fourth too) were tacked on to make a great premise (The Great Escape) erm... "even better" cough Now, say what you will for the credibility of this show (absolutely you have to suspend your disbelief) but damn if they didn't keep up the suspense ALL THE WAY THROUGH from S01E01 to S03E13 ! Highly serialised indeed! And quite entertaining, I must admit! OK so where can they go in S4? Personally I think they need to get Snake Plissken in there somewhere, no? They are escaping from LA this time right?

First off what I love about this show is that, its so fucking staright faced. There is very little humor and everyone acts like they are going for an oscar. Love it. Now where I see this show going, as it becomes the M.A.S.H of our generation, hopefully we wrap up the brothers with different last names story up in season 4 or 5. Then some new group of convicts go to jail and Micheal becomes there mentor to teach them how to escape ala Dr. Hannibal Lecktor in Red Dragon. You can call it Prison Break: The new Generation OR Micheal writes a book and gets rich again and someone hires him to break there whatever out of prison (kind of like JP III), like they trick him into doing it (i guess that was season 3). OR Micheal is hired by the government to bulid Prisons or go around from prison to prison like a consultant. And just turn it into a reality show like something on TLC.

Why not just turns this into a reality show starring Lane Garrison and he has to escape from prison. Actually make is a competion between him and Roger Avary! Either way this show can only benefit from the addition of Vinnie Jones in the cast some how (of course he'll be bad) and he is already buddies with Brett Ratner. Why don't Brett Ratner and McG just create a production company and create everything for hollywood? You think those two guys are best friends? Or do you think they hate each other becuase for the most part they are clones? With Bret being the more serious one. Say what you will about there movies, but for my money Monday Night is the best night of the week because of these two. Not Kring, not because of Cameron, or that crap Journeyman you all would cup balls for to get back on the air. Chuck and Prison Break.

Season 1 rocked. Ok, it required a big time suspension of disbelief at times, but it was entertaining. So too was much of season 2, which certainly had its moments. However, things got way, way, way too contrived at the end of season 2 in order to arrange for everyone to end up in the same prison half a world away, and it probably really jumped the shark maybe 1/2 - 2/3rds through.

I liked what they did with Kellerman and I didn't mind Mahone, because he was trying to kick his habit, after all... but what they did to Bellick was unforgivable!
