I can't wait to leave England so I'll never have to flick past another shitty episode of Coronation Street (or Eastenders for that matter) ever again. Even the theme tunes make me depressed. How anyone can watch that tripe is beyond me...

It's clear that Nick Park is just coming up with variations on the same thing. Oh well, it sounds amusing enough. Perhaps it's even worth scripting a few more W&G films and getting Peter Sallis in the studio to voice them before he pops his clogs, tho.

usually its like getting blood out of a stone to get girls in soaps to smile, bloody mardy bunch. doesn't sound feature length JackLint if it airs on the BBC it'll be another 40 minute job like Wrong Trousers and the rest.

where are you going that's not going to have terrible soaps of it's own? I agree with you, but my solution was to stop watching TV rather than leave the country. :^)

Great to get some more Wallace & Grommit, though.

It should come as no surprise that there is a lull in movies before the summer blockbusters get rolling. And in all honesty, Horton Hears a Who is a good film. Even though it is rated G. Sorry it couldn't be a hard R or PG-13 for you. Also, try going to the movie rental store and picking up some films.

Placing "There's evidently a new press release about how Lindsay's casting came about, but I've been unable to track it down" DIRECTLY under a shot of her lifting a mug of beer like a party girl while showing off two wonderful... uh... "assets" really is the best unintentional, yet utterly hilarious copy placement that's happened here in awhile. Bravo, Merrick!
