I like Stiller but I've never had much respect for his (in my opinion) one-note performances in the same way that I respect Robert Fucking Downey Jr. Don't get me wrong, I like Stiller, but he seems to play the same character over and over again and it's not as much fun to watch. At the same time, I've always felt like he wasn't living up to his potential, like he could do more, like it was in him and he needed to get it out. This movie, judging from the advance buzz, to me, is finally his calling card. I hope I'm right and I'm glad to see him surround himself with Jack Black, Downey Fucking Jr., and even Tom Cruise. I also wish that they'd do a movie with Cruise, Downey Jr., and Stiller were cast against type. I'll be in line for this and I'm looking forward to it!

...But the fake movie had more impressive action than the actual movie has laughs. I'm not gonna harp on it too much, since the funniest stuff I've heard about the film isn't in the trailer at all.
