Maybe it's just the high quality of season 4 in general, but 4.7 seemed to tread water a little. I liked Tempest Station, the voices, creepy Ben and the Red Sox videotape but Juliet's flashbacks were kinda lame (Juliet likes Goodwin, Goodwin is married, Ben likes Juliet, Ben sends Goodwin to his death). We learnt frak all about why Juliet was okay, for instance, with the Others kidnapping children from the wreckage of 815.

Ben was a sociopathic murderer and control freak. At the point where she is okay with the kidnapping of the children, she is going along with ben in the hope that her work would be finished and she could go home back to her sister. Ben is dangerous but at the point where she is okay with the Kidnapping of the kids she doesnt know. His murder of goodwin changes that. She then just goes along with ben but we all know she wants off the island.

I'm starting to think that (you-know-who) being the "man on the boat" is a red herring. The show runners know we're expecting him to be the spy and are conveniently leading us along, just to pull the rug out from under us. My guess is that it might be our favorite one-eyed, hard-to-kill Ukrainian(?), or maybe, just maybe,a recovering heroin addict that we believe to be dead.

Not Ready For Desmond to Leave the Island Yet
by Youguysgotanymilk
Mar 13th, 2008
07:33:14 AM
Anyone else thinking that somehow Desmond is going to find his way back to the island before the O6 get off? His storyline and his relationship with Penny is too strong to end already (or at the end of this season). I think, since we know Widmore is responsible for the ship, maybe he will instruct his crew to refuse to allow Desmond to leave the island. So somehow he will be dupped into going back to the island and being stuck there. I like Desmond, and I want him to be reunited with Penny, just not yet!

I think we could call that spec rather than spoiler, Musashi. I mean, you're just hoping it isn't him, not saying for certain it is him.

Personally, I think it's the heroin addict. If they can pull Cooper out of a car crash and bring him to the island, why can't they pull Charlie out of a hatch full of water?

...and I know...they said he was dead. Even Charlie himself said he was dead.........after he died.

Desmond's Fate
by Miyamoto_Musashi
Mar 13th, 2008
07:47:24 AM
I can see him in detention elsewhere at Widmore's request, duped of the freighter to another boat, imprisoned somewhere, would be interesting to add a third main location to the mix. Season 5 seeing Desmond confronted by his new prison before being rescued by Sayid who is looking for Widmore. Desmond then finds out that Penny has gone to the Island and is looking for him, Penny's boat has been out of contact though. In a flash foward Desmond sees Penny killed by Locke on the island. So a determined Desmond knows that he has to go back. The show might then become very Desmond focus. But there is nothing wrong with that brutha.

Not a good showing, especially this year in the strike shortenned season where networks are basically renwing a lot of shows despite the ratings.

I was more excited to be able to throw in another line about Juliet's rack and Claire's ass. But we are thinking on the same lines. The reason I got on smut was the posts were close together (albeit 8 hours apart and he copied and pasted THE EXACT SAME THING and that was all, so he obviously poted without reading...a pet peeve of mine. I like your Desmond theory. Having Penny being on the island and Desmond having to face his fears and return to the place he was stuck for so long, in order to save her would be in interesting part of the Lost story.

After the season 2 finale, I always sort of thought Desmond getting back to Penny would be the main story arch.

I can see him and Jack teaming up to go back to the island. Jack and Desmond simultaneously "We have to go baaaaaaaaaaaaack! Brotha".

As an outsider I can't understand why the lead story I am seeing is about some politician screwing a lady from the oldest profession. Isn't your economy tanking ? Bad news on the war politicians got us into? Well lookie there, another politician is caught cheating on his wife. ooooooooo....and this time it's another one with another hooker. See told you they were all bad.

Obviously we are about to invade Iran. The head of CentCom just retired. American Idol is in full swing. And now we have the NY State Gov. going down in flames because he paid for sex. We are being distracted from reality. The dollar is nearly worthless, so the government will print more out of thin air to inject into the economy. Our leaders are talking tough about Iran, yet they all claim that absolutely no one wants to go to war... but it's not off the table. Ladies and gentlemen, we are heading for a collapse of epic proportions. And we are being distracted with trivialities. Welcome to the new millennium.

It's incredibly predictable if it's Michael. Perrineau's name has been in the opening credits since this season's first episode, so for the viewers (who pay attention to that), that won't be a shock. Now, if it's a GROWN-UP Walt, that WOULD be a shock, for both us and for Locke -- plus, it would solve the problem of aging Malcolm Kelly, since you could have an adult Walt in the "present" and use Kelly in flashbacks (i.e. next week's presumed "how'd that happen?" episode). I guess, when it's all said and done, Michael is still an interesting twist (so long as next week's payoff pays off), but I'd be pleasantly shocked if they went with an older Walt.

Don't read further if you don't want to see speculative spoilers, sorta spoilers and the ramblings of a far too obsessed fan. Just a warning.

People keep going on and on about how "Michael is too easy" and it would be more exciting if it were someone else. I think that misses the big picture here. Michael may not be a shock to us because (a) we see his name in the credits and (b) we're a bunch of Lost obsessed Uber-geeks to borrow Proofer's term fro earlier. To many people who watch but don't spend the same amount of time thinking and talking about it, it will be a shock. More importantly, it will be a bigger shock to the people of the show. While Michael left almost 2 years ago in our viewing time, it's probably been less than a month (not sure on exact dates) since he sailed away. That means that Michael had to sail away, find rescue, go home, hide his identity, be recruited by Ben to be a spy, manipulate his way onto the freighter, and sail back on the freighter, all within 30 days or so. This isn't exactly a reasonable assumption. The bigger questions here are how it is possible for Michael to be on the boat and why he works for Ben.

None of this comes as much of a surprise to anyone who read Doc Jensen's tease for this week's episode where he asks these same questions and suggests a time-travelling Michael caused by how Ben told him to leave the island as one of the answers. I suggested a similar theory on here after "The Constant", but that EW jerk stole it from me and published it. (Before anyone asks, that's a joke not paranoia or any other sort of delusion.) A theory like this also explains why Walt got bigger so quickly. To most people it's been a month or so, but for him it's probably around 2 or 3 years.

I just don't see how it can be considered a let down if the guy on the boat is Michael. We will clearly have a million things to learn in the next episode about what happened and it finally brings back Waaaaaaaaaaalt and the possibility for Michael to make up for what he has done.

BOMBSHELL *NO SPOILERS*
by Vorlagen
Mar 13th, 2008
09:48:38 AM
No spoilers here: Over at DarkUFO popular Lost blogger docarzt just dropped this bombshell: "The oceanic six were never confirmed, and never guessed correctly. The story is unfolding exactly as intended... and there is a great deal of inner facetiousness behind saying the Oceanic 6 is too obvious... because... it's not. ;) Beware long held beliefs." This is referring to the fact that many Lost sites leaked the identities of the O6 quite some time ago (before the season even stated). Docarzt has definitely seen the first 8 episodes, so unless he's lying about this, TPTB might have pulled the ol' fake leaked information scam (although the first 4 members of the O6 already introduced have been correct). Just for those of you who know what the leaked spoilers were, and to let everyone else out there know that no one really knows!

You're right-- it would be predictable, and it had already been widely reported that Perrineau would be back for S4 before we saw it on the opening (guess that check from 28 weeks later didn't last long).

I find the grown-up Walt idea interesting and plausible, since they established a week or two ago that the passage of time works differently on the island, so he could, in theory, be on the boat. However, I'm sticking with my pick for Charlie or Mikhail as "Ben's man" on the boat.

10:12:09 AM
I guess for the casual Lost fan Michael would be a huge shock. For us super Lost fans we have seen it coming for a long time. It can still be interesting to see how he became the man on the boat and what happened to Walt.

I was talking with my parents last night about tonight's episode and I mentioned that "tonight we find out who Ben's man is." I followed this by saying "but everyone already knows who that is going to be."

My parents have no idea who it is going to be. They are fans of Lost and have seen every episode. But they do not go on the interent or do anything outside of watching it.

I almost told them that it will probably be Michael and I stopped myself. I thought, man how great would it be to be completely suprised by omething like that. I was jealous of the fact that they do not know what is going to happen each week.

I would be nice to watch each episode spoiler free, but I cant stand the wait.

I still dont like spoilers, just teasers. I like to know a little about what will happen but not the details.

Work may slow down for the Lost talkback, but I still had to go to lunch. A man's gotta have his priorities straight. A few responses:

Vorlagen: You're right, we haven't ever had reason to mistrust docartz. I was trying to find the info, where is it at DarkUFO?

Gnortsmra: They didn't establish that time passes differently on the island than off it. The only thing that was established is that time passes differently as one enters or exits the island (rocket and helicopter). It's 2004 everywhere, at least for a week or so. For Walt to be grown up, he would have to have gone backwards in time. Otherwise, it would have to be a later year and Penny would have been all screwed up about how many years she been looking for Desmond.

Node: I think the idea of the bodies is an indication that whoever is responsible for the cover up is fairly powerful and not to be messed with, but I suppose we already knew that.

Youguysgotanymilk: First, that's an awesome name. Second, I agree that part of the issue is how hardcore we are, but I still think the shocker about Michael is the how rather than the who. See my post like 9 or 10 above you. No spoilers in it other than what you already stated and some theory.

Brody: Nothing in the invisotext is really a spoiler other than the one that has been discussed non-stop on here today. I saw a quote earlier for DL or CC that said basically "Yes, everyone knows who it is, but hang on because there are 10 minutes left in the episode." That sounds like there should be some moments that we really aren't expecting. I hope that's true.

Ok, I think that's everything. Now I just have to worry about the posts that were written while I was writing this.

I too, think Michael is the probable choice. But what if it's Sayid?

Think about it-- Ben did say he had a man on the boat before Sayid left the island on the chopper, but what if Ben and Sayid had made a deal--as yet unseen to us--on the island before Sayid left? That kind of half-truth is classic Ben, "I have a man on the boat.. well not yet.. but I will." We did see that Sayid is working for Ben in the flash-fwds, after all... maybe that info was more than just a dramatic twist. If Sayid's the man on the boat, his agreement to be so could be the beginning of his service to Ben.....

But yeah. It'll probably be Michael (or Walt).

Okay, so it was "Tonight, on tonight's Kwon-centric installment.

Fount-- I'm on the same boat (pardon the pun) as far as work and thursdays go. Good thing is half my dept. are fans, so we at least get to discuss on fridays.

That being said, I think I wasn't clear in what I meant to say re: time on/off the island. They have (as you pointed out) established the 30 minutes or so differential between "island" time and the rest of the world. They've also shown Walt (whether intentional or not) having had a growth spurt. They could use these two to explain Walt being a bit older (we're talking MAYBE teens-- at best) and on the boat. Remember Sayid saying 2 weeks ago that he didn't realize it was Dec 24, and the helicopter ride seemed to Jack like it took a LOT longer (overnight, maybe?) than what we saw Des, Sayid and Lapidus experience. So, it's a POSSIBLE to explain having a slightly older Walt on the boat.

Probable? That's a whole other kettle of fish. Milk-- Your comment on people surviving after leaving the island is a discussion I've had with a lot of people since the season started, esp. in light of the funeral hoem sequence. just because someone survived LEAVING the island, doesn't mean they'll stay alive in the real world. And, I would love seeing a character dying off-island in a flash forward, and then going back to tell the story on-island, with the viewer knowing this person's ultimate fate.

No, they haven't established a 31 minute difference. They've established that based on the path the rocket took to get to the island, it was delayed by 31 minutes. However, the path that the helicopter took was delayed significantly more. We also need to explain why in the FFs they are so far in the future (ie, Aaron is older, etc). The Walt that appeared to Locke was also way older (taller ghost Walt). It's possible that leaving the island in different manners will create different time differences (it's not a stretch to imagine that people could end up ahead of island time by leaving---that is to say, journey backwards in time as they leave and end up earlier than when they left).
So, Troy was pretty great.

I disagree. The experiment was probably made to determine time on the island. No matter how far the rocket had to travel, if it made a wrong turn somewhere-- whatever-- is should have still landed showing the exact same time. The fact that there was a time difference on the both the experiment and the control watches indicates that time operates differently on and off the island. (This is a tangent to the highly flawed Emmett Brown temporal displacement theory)

Although they haven't come out and said it, Flash forwards have not been at the same points in time (Jack with beard and severe drinking and pill problem screaming "we gotta go baaaack!!!", Jack clean-shaven and only needing an occassional drink, testifying at Kate's trial/hearing)

I don't think we have seen that the time is really different. I'm too lazy to retype my entire theory of the temporal displacement moat surrounding the island (or to go find it in old talkbacks), but there is no evidence that it's not the exact same time in both places. The communication between both seems to indicate that. As does the fact that the incident when Desmond didn't press the button was recorded at the same date and time as the plane crash. September 22 2004 on the island was September 22 off the island. The same goes for December 24th on the island, on the freighter and in London. Things like the helicopter and the rocket don't take a wrong turn somewhere on the way to or from the island as much as they take a wrong turn somewhen.

Just had a thought that came to me a moment ago regarding Jacob. I think Jacob is not exactly real in a sense he has his own body, rather he floats about in spirit (smoke monster maybe) then comes across Christian Shephard coffin, takes over the body. So in other words Jacob is residing in Christian body, but Christian as we know him is definitely dead (I seem to recall the producers was steadfast in saying thats Christian is dead period.) So Christian = Jacob. I know from while back a lot of people thought that, but I don't know if anyone bought up the theory thats Jacob is a spirit not a physical being.

Of course I may be way of base here,am sure theres a few holes with this theory plus someone out else there may have thought the same thing and posted likewise. If so apologies.

'Lost': Michael's Coming Back...But How?

Doc Jensen figures that the ex-castaway is Ben's freighter spy, but has theories on how that came to be. Plus: Lindelof talks Numbers

By Jeff Jensen, an EW senior

writer, has been despondent since the cancellation of ''Twin Peaks''THE TEASE!

At exactly the 30-minute mark in tonight's episode, the strike-shortened fourth season of Lost will reach its halfway mark. At the 31-minute mark, we'll have seen more Lost this year than we will see for the rest of the year. And by the 60-minute mark, we'll have just six more episodes of Lost left until the show waddles into its cave for another nine-month nap. This kind of thinking makes me kinda sad. Didn't this season just start, like, yesterday? As Kool and the Gang taught us long ago, we should cherish the time we have. So I invite you to savor this, our sixth-to-last tease of the year, an enticing tidbit about ''Ji Yeon,'' tonight's Jin/Sun-angled installment of Lost, brought to you by executive producer Damon Lindelof:

''Yes, we know you have all figured out who Ben's man on the boat is. But once we've confirmed that for you, there's still TEN MINUTES OF SHOW LEFT.''

+++

Damon is undoubtedly responding to the fact that for several weeks now, all of us (or enough of us to create the impression of an ''all'') have assumed that our old friend Michael — the raft-building, desperate dad who killed Ana Lucia and Libby in order to get his abducted son back — is Ben's spy on the freighter. It's not like we're a bunch of great detectives. As reader Lenny Picker points out, Lost has been running the risk of ruining this reveal since announcing Harold Perrineau's return last summer. In fact, he's been listed in the credits for several episodes now! ''Speculation that he's Ben's man on the boat would have been less if everyone didn't know that Michael would return this season,'' writes Picker. ''Had he not been listed in the credits, his eventual appearance would have the dramatic impact the Lost creators intended.'' Picker says that a key revelation in last week's episode was similarly spoiled for him: ''The inclusion of Alan Dale [the actor who plays Charles Widmore, Penelope's father and Desmond's nemesis] in the credits in the last episode made it obvious that he was going to be the person behind the freighter.''

I know many of you feel the same way as Lenny. I share your small disappointment, to the degree that I find myself hoping against hope that we're being set up for a shocker. Like, wouldn't it be awesome if the spy actually turned out to be Sayid's lost love, Nadia? Or Charlie's ex-junkie rocker brother, Liam? Or even — my crazy conjecture of the week — a returned-from-the-dead Libby, resurrected via the magic of course correction?

Still, I don't want to get your hopes up. All signs point to Michael. But spoiled surprise or no, there is some mystery surrounding his return to Lost, a riddle that can be summed up in one word: How? Think this through, my fellow Lost theorists: Michael's return to the Island defies storytelling logic. According to the well-researched timeline housed at lostpedia.org, Michael and Walt left the Island 67 days after the crash of Oceanic 815 — in other words, late November 2004. But the freighter has been offshore since mid-December. Surely it took longer than just a couple weeks for Ben to get Michael in position.

So: How? How can Michael really be on that boat?

'Lost': Michael's Coming Back...But How?

CONTROL FREAK Did Ben intentionally send Michael and Walt four years back in time?

TIME TRAVEL: BACK TO THE FUTURE

Theory: The coordinates Ben gave Michael and Walt led them not only to a place, but also to a time — in the near past.

Weird Science explanation: The Island is located within a time-space anomaly that extends out into the ocean. Different points along the boundary of the anomaly lead to different places and/or different times. For example, after the chopper flew through the perimeter, Lapidus, Sayid, and Desmond landed on the freighter a full day after they left the Island, even though they had spent just 20 minutes in the air. Prediction: Ben intentionally sent Michael (and Walt) to a certain date in the past (I'm betting...four years ago) for the purpose of putting Michael in a position to serve as his freighter spy. To avoid the possibility of history-altering paradox — like, say, Michael seeking out his past self, or trying to prevent the crash of Oceanic 815 — Ben controlled him by holding Walt as leverage.

Does this theory make sense? Absolutely. This take on time travel best explains the narrow gap between Michael's departure and his return. It would also explain how Walt grew into a strapping teenager.

Estimated Chance of Accuracy: My money's on this one. 91%

BORN AGAIN: A POCKET UNIVERSE THEORY OF LOST

Theory: Michael and Walt left the Island...and were magically transformed into new people — people who may have never been passengers aboard Oceanic 815. Weird Science explanation: The Island could exist in its own pocket universe. In order for this place to exist within our world but remain separate from it, special accommodations are made. For example, when the Island swallowed up Oceanic 815, the outside world had to account for the disappearance of the passengers. Hence the wreckage at the bottom of the ocean, which may be the result of a cosmic conspiracy, not a human one. By this logic — if you can call it logic — the cosmos would have to come up with a continuity-smoothing solution for the reintroduction of Michael and Walt into a world in which they are technically dead. The answer: creating whole new identities for them. In this scenario, should Michael 2.0 and Walt 2.0 return to the fully contained pocket universe of the Island, they may or may not know the castaways (at least, not from personal experience), but the castaways would certainly remember them. Prediction: Michael's seeming anti-climactic return becomes supercharged with intrigue when he looks at Sayid and says, ''I'm sorry... Do I know you?'' Does this theory make sense? I could see this ''pocket universe'' business working. Yes, the producers have disavowed alternate-reality theory, but this is a form of alternate-reality theory that neutralizes the problems of paradox, the negation of life-and-death stakes, and the mutability of the flash-forward future. But it does rob Michael of a powerful motivation for returning to the Island: redeeming his murderous past by saving his friends. Estimated Chance of Accuracy: Too convoluted — AND I LOVE IT. But whatever explanation Lost comes up with for Michael's return, earning his redemption MUST be an issue. 43%

READER MAIL!

First thing's first: Yes, you got me — it's Obi-WAN, not Obi-WON. But you know, it SHOULD be Obi-Won, don't you think? ''Wan'' is just so...wan. Still, I goofed, and so to atone for my fanboy sin, I'm making it up to you in the form of some scoop from Damon Lindelof about the Numbers — complete with a cool, fact-checked Star Wars reference. Wizard! But first, some other burning questions — and answers:

''Doc: Harold Perrineau is the spy...but maybe he's actually the grown-up Walt! The vector that Ben sent them on may have caused them to lose 15 years. Thoughts?'' —Bill

Bill: Good one! Let's make that Possibility Number 3!

''My theory is that Ben's spy on the boat is...Ben. Here's why. We don't know that the freighter and the Island are happening at the same time. Maybe the freighter is in the future. Also, when Ben tells Locke who the spy is, he tells him to sit down — which you would definitely say if you were telling someone you can travel through time. People keep saying Ben is right where he wants to be — that is, in captivity — so no one can see when he goes catatonic as he time travels. It would explain how he knows so much of what's going on even though he's a prisoner. What do you think? Maybe this is impossible, but it would be fun.'' —Will

Will: Your last sentence sums up my reaction — probably impossible, definitely fun.

''In 'The Constant,' when Charles Widmore was in the bathroom with Desmond and turned on the faucet, he very purposely used a towel so that he wouldn't touch the knob directly. Later, when Desmond touched the faucet directly with his hand, he was 'transported' to another time. Do you have any theories on the significance of this?'' —Maria S.

Maria S: Your curiosity about Widmore's curious bathroom routine is shared by a number of readers. I can't quite recall Chuck's paper-towel act (he's probably just a big germaphobe), but I definitely saw what other people saw: that Penelope's papa left the water running. Many have suspected that Widmore was keenly aware that Desmond was time-trippin' and somehow knew that by leaving the water on for Desmond to turn off, it would trigger another quantum leap. Maybe water serves as a kind of activation for cross-time consciousness transfer, at least for Desmond.
But here's another idea. I think Widmore knows the future — some or all of it. He's used this foreknowledge to build his financial empire. Now, the example of Desmond has shown us that those who have flashes of the future, and wish to facilitate that future, become slaves to predestination, because in order to get the desired outcome, you must make sure that the flashes play out in real life EXACTLY as you see them. So maybe the reason Widmore left the water running was simply because that was the way it HAD to happen, per his knowledge of future events. Even if I'm wrong about applying this theory to the bathroom business, I think the theory itself holds: Papa Widmore knows the future, and it drives everything he does.

''Jeff: I am convinced that Harper, as she appeared in the jungle, was indeed a manifestation of Smokey/the Island. What is your opinion on this matter?'' —CS

Clay: You are not alone. Many of you e-mailed suggesting the possibility that Harper could be the Monster. Was Harper's profession a clue? Harper was an all-knowing psychotherapist — and Smokey has the power to probe minds. I have long argued that Smokey is capable of taking human form, and more, that he/she/it has more on its cloudy mind than just killing castaways. Smokey could be manipulating our heroes toward various ends, much like the Island's other resident evil, Ben. Which suggests a possibility: Is Ben a manifestation of Smokey? Or, put another way: Is Smokey a manifestation of Ben? Tune in next week when I put some more flesh on this theory.
It would be rad...

''I was wondering about The Numbers. Are we going to find out the meaning behind them?'' —Amy

Amy: A couple years ago, Lost staged an alternate-reality game called ''The Lost Experience'' that, with great fanfare, provided an answer to this mystery. The Numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) are values in a mathematical formula called the Valenzetti Equation, which was designed to estimate the date in which (cue dramatic music) the world as we know it will come to an end. The Dharma Initiative was trying to harness the powers of the Island to change the equation so as to prolong the life of the world. Now, we've also seen how the Numbers play an almost supernatural role in Hurley's life. However, ''The Lost Experience'' didn't address that. Personally, I have become content with accepting the Numbers as a thematic idea — an inexplicable but dramatically potent manifestation of fate, fatalism, and freaky phenomena that defies easy understanding. But I can understand why other fans might want a more concrete explanation. So: Will the show ever give us specific Numbers resolution? I ran the question by Damon Lindelof, and here's what he had to say:

''There will be more ON the Numbers, yes. But explaining WHY and HOW they are magic is like trying to explain why some magic kids are born to two muggles. The Valenzetti Equation USES those numbers, but trust me, they were around LONG before the early '60s. But for fans waiting for an advanced dissertation on the mythic significance of the numbers, I direct them to Qui-Gon Jinn's speech to Shmi Skywalker regarding midichlorians and pose the following question: Happy now?''

Point taken!

And with that, we bring another Doc Jensen column to a close. I spend my Thursdays returning e-mail, although I answer older e-mails first, so be patient. Send your theories and questions to JeffJensenEW@aol.com. And I'll be here tomorrow morning to recap tonight's episode.

Namaste!

It's bad enough (and I have screwed the pooch on this for which I heartily apologized) to pput in in the text witout a spoiler warning, but to put that in a title is not cool. I know somw that stayed disciplined enough to NOT know who the O6 were. Then to drop the death ou there...I hope you are wrong so no one feels cheated. But PLEASE in the future, WARN with some spoiler text, ok?

We may also get an idea of what Ben was referring to when he told Sayid he shouldn't think with he heart, but with his gun...and this person may not have died. Just speculation, but it all makes perfect sense now. TWO HOURS! Remember, if you miss is, check THE Pirate Bay and do a search under edshrinker and I should have the commercicaless episode in Mp4 or wmv for your viewing pleasure, I'll also have a better dvd version up a little after that. If so - my god I couln't agree more. Why Lucas felt the need to take away the mystery surrounding the force by making it a simple element of biology...

I wouldn't mind if after season6 there are still questions for us to ponder. And maybe for them to make a movie around ;D

That's pretty close....and course 6 is a very nice area. Im in Raleigh. Used to play in Pinehurst, but not golf. Former musician. Played with BofOz late 80's for about 6 years (learned to play golf with them), left them to play with Cream of Soul. Got out of the business (and fucked up an arm and totally killed my backswing) and into pharma research about 10 years ago where I'm now a trainer.

And they said the drugs we did as musicians were a waste of time.

Coincidences continue. I use alot of pharmaceuticals!

Seriously, through college in Wisconsin and NC I played in bands for 10 years. No one you've heard of, though I have a notebook full of original music from stuff I wrote during those years. Played guitar and did some singing. Covered some VH, STP , FooFighters, Zep, Who, Stones, - the essentials. God - I'm not sure if I know how to pick up a guitar now. And I have a full digital recording studio on my computer. Keep promising I will sit down and record all my originals (for better or worse) just to have them somewhere than rotten cassettes. Whaddya play? I did some acoustic work at Dugan's Pub in Pinehurst.

Maybe we could throw it together sometime for fun. Call ourselves The Valenzetti (sp?) Equation or Hatch or Jacob's Cabin...something geeky retarded like that!

Found that out in our Room 23 days. I play keys. Been playing piano as a sideline from time to time at an italian restaurant in Wakefield. Haven't played since New Year's eve, but may go back next month...after the NCAAs. Did a CD for friends and family for christmas, and took one of the melodies from LOST and did an orchestrated version of it on there. Same basic melody they used during Charlie's death, except I changed it to 3/4. I wish it was still posted online somewhere. I'd send you a link.

You know buddy, I have never been able to pin down exactly how they do the whole ratings gig. I'd be more accurate if they had a way of tracking channel/time for every user and then compile a sample of the data (cable/satellite). I record my stuff througha DirectTv box wired into my Tv card on my PC. Hence- Windows Media Center pwns me. Nice application. Throw it in Video ReDo to edit out commercials and reformay for upload to the internet. But that reception of that satellite box getting a signal and these suckers also send BACK a signal...I am certain these suckers know what I watch, when and how much I watch. That is how they should complie ratings. But I do not think they do
