Angus Macfadyen did a pretty interesting Welles. I heard that Tim Robbins was gonna do it, but ended up being too busy directing.

The bassist from the Stereophonics. Seriously, he's the absolute spit. He's not an actor mind you so it's hardly relevant, but you should have a look.

I don't have much to add, except when I saw the headline for this article I got angry because I thought this was going to be about a remake of the greatest film of all time!! But it isn't, so I'm excited and on board. Watch out Hollywood, if you do remake THE THIRD MAN, I'm going all Jay & Silent Bob on yer ass!!

Liev Schreiber and John Malkovich made the movie great. When I hear this title "Me and Orson" it sounds too much like the Michael Moore documentary "Roger and Me". Maybe this will be like "Melvin and Howard"?

This is based on a book, and in the book Efron's character is SUPPOSED to be annoying and stupid. Perfect casting in my opinion.
Great Play About Welles

Absolutely better than all these made-for-TV Welles impersonations is an incredible play written by Austin Pendleton (The Muppet Movie, OZ) called "Orson's Shadow" about the tense relationship between Welles and Laurence Olivier. Welles had more talent, but contemporaries handed that distinction to Olivier, but Sir Laurence knew the truth.

I hear they're remaking The Third Man, I will find out who's making it and get in on the production just to trash it. Sometimes producers need a turkey slap from God!
