Who cares anymore? The show used to be so fresh and witty, and now the plots are staid and JD and Blond Doctor are just obnoxiously self-absorbed. First! Where's my trophy?

Hands down this badboy is the funniest program on television. Scrubs is one of only two television shows I actually go out of my way to watch (the other being lost). So I'm all about this thing being picked up again, regardless of which network it would air on...

It's an uneven show - sometimes hilarious, and sometimes trying way too hard. But it long ago ran its course and is now just overtaying its welcome.

Yeah yeah we can moan all we want that it hit its peak a couple of seasons ago but it still manages to deliver the good stuff with the majority of the side characters, even if some of the more main characters have become tired and annoying. Though Cox is still awesome.

And it's good to know that they'll get to do a proper season finale, even if it's not at its peak i wouldn't want them to just end it on some random ep.

but if I want really good spaghetti, I'll just go to my Mom's...oh yeah, this is about Scrubs, which consistently IS the funniest show on TV, and deserves to finish itself off properly. Wonder, though, why ABC would order almost a season's worth of new stuff--as this season is indeed supposed to be the finale. Still, if they DO pick it up, it'd be nice if they treated the show a tad bit better than NBC did: it seemed that at one point the peacock would have rather put a reality show called EAT A BOWL OF SHIT in the proper timeslot than Scrubs...though given what passes for popular today, I suppose the Nielsens woulda been pretty high on that one, eh?

I thought once J.D. let everyone know that he really was in love with Black Scrubs and there was that awkward pause because Black Scrubs did not feel the same way and then the janitor came in and shot everyone to death because he really was a schizophrenic.

Ok, that came out wrong. Still one of my favourite shows. I'm currently watching season 1 again. My Occurrence is still the best episode to date. I don't want them to make another season, just let them finish season 7 properly. Zach Braff wants to quit anyway. Wouldn't be the same without him.

There's nothing wrong with Olive Garden. It's a perfectly fine chain restaurant, not great, better than most. But arrogant putzes can't insult something that everybody knows is bad, like McDonalds... because they wouldn't get the little tingle they get by setting themselves above the masses, the sheeple, or whatever elitist term they like to apply to everyone other than themselves. Fundamentally, they have a weak and crippled ego, and seek to ease their pain by saying "You know X that you think is good? I'm so much better than you that X is far beneath me." The better X truly is, the more of a temporary self-esteem fix they get by deriding it.

Not because I'm "too cool". But I live in an Italian neighborhood. When I want pasta I take my ass to "Toscas" and when I want seafood I'll go to City Island. People who knock both are lame. Nothing wrong with those restaurants or Outback or Cheesecake Factory. Anyhow Scrubs is funny. But let it go out this year. How many seasons has it been so far? And I agree, Arrested was great. I still laugh at the DVDs as if I never saw the show before.

with Olive Garden or Red Lobster is that there are som people, I'm not saying anyone on this board, but there are some people that consider Olive Garden to be the height of cooking, that there isn't anything better out there, and that's not true. Don't get me wrong, I like Olive Garden and it is somewhat of a treat for me to go as i don't have any italian resturants in my town.

taht and it's popular int he midwest, in the "blue" states if you will, and there are those who just like to deride anything that others like because it makes them feel good about themselves.

I used ot have this same problem with music, I loved Sugar Ray, when noone knew about them, but once Fly hit the radio i was like "this is crap, this is garbage, this is shit"

TV is the same, Scrubs was popular on-line back when it first started, I believe it was even one of those "the best shows you're not watching" things, but then once it was given a chance and people started watching it adn it was catching on, then it became popular and so all the 'cool' kids hated it.

you can find it with movies, books, etc. it's just the nature of the beast

I get the feeling...

Carla and Elliot are shocked when they find JD and Turk consumating their "man love" in a supply closet. They turn to each other and shrug, knowing it was inevitable. Looking longingly into each other eyes, they start making out in the hallway. Doctor Cox and Kelso die from a brain anurysm from trying to outdo each other. The janitor drives away in Cox' stolen Porche moments before the hospital explodes due a bomb he planted earlier.

Still better than 3/4 of the schlock on television, and that's including a weak sixth season. I'm all for ABC picking it up and running with it one more year, especially if they treat it well, something NBC almost never did. And why does this site barely mention Scrubs anymore? Tis a shame.

(Well maybe not season 3)...but season 6 was shit. Really bad. Season 7 I really have no opinion on. I love Scrubs, because it gave me 5 seasons of greatness. I could watch nothing but Scrubs, if it ended at their fifth season. I have hope that it will get back on track, and I'm glad no matter what at least we'll be getting a series finale. There was talk during the strike that we might not get one. I think an 8th season on ABC would be a good idea if they thought it was possible to get rid of the bad taste of these past couple of seasons and leave on a high note.
