So, what the fuck is a "Zohan"?

I'm israeli and there's no such name as "Zohan" here. I don't mind racist humor even if it's pointed at insraelis such as myself, and I'd go see the movie if it were as funny as, say, The Hebrew Hammer, but having Rob Schneider in it is an indication it isn't even that.
Sandler bad, Turturro good.

And it has nothing to do with any perceived racism or material I might find offensive, it has everything to do with the fact that you are an easily entertained simpleton. What kind of fucking moron thinks this has any redeeming comedic value? Seriously, how fucking stupid do you have to be to find anything in the trailer, or hell anything Adam Sandler has done in ten years, funny? What kind of cro-magnon joke of a human being?
Is Turturro even in this? P.S. Trailer looks like shit

I didnt seem Turturro listed on the cast on imdb. And anything with Rob Schneider is guaranteed to suck a fat one. Whose dick is that guy sucking to get roles? Must be Sandler's.

And that's saying a lot compared to Sandler's other films. I probably won't see thiss. I love how this guy keeps apologizing for laughing. It's OK, dude. Harry (and others) just have sticks up their asses about this kind of stuff. But I'm still not gonna see this. Or maybe I will, now that I think about it.

Don't Mess With The Zohan was one of the FUNNIEST previews I'd ever seen in the theatre. I had NO idea what it was, I generally DON'T like Adam Sandler films, but I honestly couldn't stop laughing when this thing popped up on the screen! It looks great! :D

Ironically, they showed this right before screening The Kite Runner (which was even better than the previews)...

As long as it leads to him, in real life, accidentally getting on a plane to Syria where he can pay for his crimes against humanity -- like every un-fucking-funny movie the guy has ever been in. If there's a celebrity other than Paris Hilton that I'd pay to watch die on PPV, it would be Rob Schneider...or Andy Dick. And Johnny Fairplay.

Because the poster has the name of the movie in red block capitals. Seriously, it's like graphic designers are giving us a message - Alright, I'll make up a poster but I'm putting the name of your movie in red block capitals so everyone knows how shit it will be. See for reference Norbit, Scary Movie, any comedy with Robin WIlliams, the list goes fucking on....
I didn't need to see the poster to know it would suck.

The three stooges, maybe. Chaplin and Keaton, definitely. Sandler? He has the same 2 line deliveries in every movie; twitchy or sarcastic-falsetto. Don't get me wrong, I can chuckle (at least once) at most Sandler movies, especially his earlier stuff. His "comedies" at this point remind me of those group of actors from college that go on to form a theater company, producing the same second-rate shit for years without growing. With the same damn inside jokes and lack on perspective. I think Sandler does best these days when he steps away from his "college buddies" and does things like Reign Over Me, where a new set of eyes directs. But as far as physical comedy goes, not even on the radar.

Stonehenge, or Bigfoot. I love clever comedy, I love stupid comedy like Airplane! and Spinal Tap, but I've found NOTHING in any Adam Sandler movie -- including Happy Gilmore and those other early ones -- that makes me laugh. Like when you see a horrible trailer for something like that Rock NFL adopts a little girl movie, and the whole theater laughs uproariously, and you are feeling like the only sane person in the building.

when I saw the trailer for this a while ago I knew it was a movie I needed to see. I don't like all his movies. I'd say I enjoy about 2/3 of them. It sucks because the one he filmed in my hometown really blew chunks. This is no work of high art here, but if you saw the trailer, you may understand the appeal of this one a little better. Okay, just found it. Here we go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =d9jt1OHyagI Don't look for the abbreviated trailer, check out the official one. Then, let the comments good or bad come flying out. By the way Punch Drunk Love sucked.

I've loved all his cameos in the Sandler movies. In large doses he's just not my thing. Hey Poppin Fresh you're wrong about Williams. He doesn't suck 97.5 percent of the time. He sucks 98 percent of the time. Hey, ever see that character he played where he talks really fast, makes a lot of pop culture references and shakes his arms about while ignoring authority figures?

Are you kidding me? This is an effin' plant if I ever saw one. This trailer is not funny and this movie looks unwatchable. As far as the cameos go, I'll bet they include David Spade (Surprise!), Kevin Nealon (wow!), one of the leftover Farley brothers (Surprise again!), etc... I might watch this on cable if I see it one night flipping channels in 2009.

nerded up, uglied up, made to look cool, made to took handsome. Acts cool, acts dorky. It all depends on the role. First time I remember seeing him was in Spike's movies. He goes from being this big bad tough Italian in Do the Right Thing, to being this doormat of a guy in Jungle Fever. I was a lot younger, but I couldn't even tell it was the same guy at first. I have no idea why. It wasn't the looks. Maybe it was the shift between the two charactes.

... because I laughed during the trailer. Multiple times. Particularly during the part with his feet kicking the guy. My biggest complaint was that it seemed like it was an obvious combination/ripoff of Borat (fish out of water - hilarity ensues) and Hot Fuzz (supercop trying to adjust to simpler lifestyle, but then ends up having to be supercop after all). I haven't really liked any Sandler movies since Happy and Madison, but I'm going to give this a shot.

wasn't that the one where Sandler did all the gay shit? I could've sworn the dude from King of Queens was in it as well, but I didn't see him in this particular trailer. Yeah, kidding aside, this looks like a turd. The feet thing was kinda funny, but being a flamboyant haircutter in and of itself isn't especially funny. If it's got Turturro, it's got a chance... but based on that trailer and the superbowl spot... I'm going to avoid this like the plague.

I loved Little Nicky and this looks like the closet Sandler movie to compare it too. At least when Sandler tries some dumb idea he goes all the way with it. I perfer those movies to his cool guys shtick like in the Burt Reynolds remake/Big Daddy/Larry and Chuckles.
