A friend of a friend worked on the set of Indy from day one. I got to ask them all about the shoot. She wouldn’t get into specifics with story, but basically said we have no idea what we're in for. The tone and style is much closer to RAIDERS, not LAST CRUSADE like Marshall said. Apparently Harrison is back in amazing form like no time has passed. In fact, my source said that on several occasions Harrison’s performance was so great that it had everyone awestruck and nostalgic. I was told of one scene in particular involving a booby-trapped spiral stone stairwell that begins to retract its steps. I won’t divulge more, because I really shouldn’t know any of this stuff, but lets just say that at the bottom of the pit are some rather large spikes with skeletons of conquistadors impaled on them…and old Indy is sick and tired of spikes! Don't really care if people believe me - you'll see them spikes come May 22nd! Can't wait.

Just shooting blanks now. All Star Warsed out...but this is an interesting premise. Worth a rental. I don't get why studios always have to shoehorn in a "love story" and / or a "lesson," though.

If this thing only covers Star Wars and a few Star Trek fans then the title, "Fanboys," is completely wasted. Any movie w/ this title should pay homage to every friggin' fanboy franchise there is. LOTR fans, Matrix fans, Dr.Who fans, etc, etc . . . It should be EPIC. It's coming out way too late. Should have been written, made, and released the weekend before Ep.I, not CloneWars. And cutting the cancer story is such a cowardly mistake.

But I have less and less desire to see this movie. The cancer storyline had a good chance of giving this movie some good heart. Now it sounds like every other comedy. I may see it on cable or video but as for now, this really sounds too generic. Am I alone on this?
