bought this a year and a half ago and yeah, it's crackin'. not a subtle film, and it gets muddled at the end, but it sure is a heck of fun and worth some big laughs.

It is a weird funny film but the storytelling is poor and the point isn't pushed as hard as it should. The art direction is great and the opening sequence is fantastic. It sold me too, and then the film went on. The pink girls dancing is so awesome. The director of this also directed Untold Scandal. You can buy Dasepo Naughty Girls as a region 3 dvd off of Yesasia.com, you can either get the limited edition with awesome orange and green neon packaging with a cool booklet in Korean but the special features aren't subtitled or get a single disc edition. The company might be Cinema Service. If you don't mind watching stuff on VLC this will work. I used to work at a DVD store that specialized in imported live action asian films, so I'm a dork

Sadly, after the first 15 minutes, DNG starts to look like hack-work by the standards of Katsuhito Ishii who did the much better A Taste of Tea as well as Funky Forest. And yea, DNG has been around for over a year at this point.

If anyone has any recommended Korean viewing, please let me known. I've seen the Vengeance trilogy, Bad Guy (fuckin amazing), A Bittersweet Life, The Host, Memories of Murder. Any other good ones? City of Violence any good?

is in the same league as bittersweet life, for better or worse. standard cops vs gangsters melodrama seen in every other hongkong/korean movies, only with better fight scenes. i still cannot find memories of murder anywhere in here. and i've been looking.
