I don't care if she can act or not as long as she's sexy and HAS AN ACCENT! For some reason the worst Bond girls are American. Don't get me wrong, I love the chicks we have here in the US but they're all wrong for a Bond movie. Even though I thought Lois Chiles in MOONRAKER was pretty but her flat American accent took away the exoticism and intrigue you want in a Bond girl. Don't get me started on Denise Richards!

I thought Eva Green was just a fluke, but with that last Gemma Whatsername and now this chick, Bond has become a total cradle robber. I liked it better when Bond ladies were or at least looked over 25. Putting them next to Daniel "catcher's mit face" Craig only makes it even creepier. I might've been okay with Brosnan being the suave older man romancing college girls, but with Criag this movie is just a gonna be one gross image after the next.

Which is fine, I understand there's a bit of a double standard, and I'm fine with male action heroes usually being with ladies who look about ten years younger. I just find Craig ugly and old looking and they seem to keep putting him with women with fresh girlie faces and I find it gross. I don't know if Carice Van Houten is still in this, but she would look just right as a love interest for Craig. I agree with you that this Ukrainian is pretty, but I know when I'm watching her with Craig I'm gonna lose my lunch.

But they'll keep Dakota Fanning for the next one, and Billy Ray Cyrus's daughter will do the theme song. And Tacom, you've illustrated perfectly how it's more about the visuals than the actual age. I'm sure all the women in Connery Bonds were in their early twenties and he was a middle-aged dude with a rug, but back then women just styled themselves more maturely, and some people just have more womanly beautiful faces and some have more girlish pretty or cute faces. I also agree that the Greek lady in Casino Royale looked better with Craig and was better looking than Green. And she was that right level of dreadful in the acting department to fit in a Bond movie. I've actually always wanted to see Penelope Cruz as a Bond lady. She'd look age appropriate for Craig. But with this trend of casting out of High School Musical probably means that won't happen.

I wonder why do American producers never give Russians (this one is Ukrainian) appropriate surnames. Well, it sounds like Russian surname, but it doesn't make any sense to those, who know the language. There is no such surname. Just change u to y - Kyrylenko - and it will be ok, quite widespread surname. I can't understand why they do it, even how do they come with those senseless names. Literally it's just a number of letters with Ukrainian surname ending.
