Autistic - producers of 24 have announced they will only air 24 uninterrupted. Unless strike breaks soon don't expect 24 in Spring '08. They certainly will not start a season in March or April unless they double up and show 2 eps per week - which is unlikely.

What I wanna know is when is the final season of The Shield (which has already been completed) due to start airing? Meanwhile things are looking pretty damn slim, with only The Wire, Torchwood, Lost, Prison Break and Jericho on the horizon. I'll probably check out Sarah Conner Chronicles too for a lack of anything better to do. And after that stuff dries up as well it's gonna be a lean damn year if this strike doesn't get sorted...

I read in EW that the last man behind the scenes standing during the strike was Chiklis (who is also a producer on the show) and he had to finish the series off for the creator. So odd, this strike needs to end. I need the back 8 of Lost to happen in 2008.

Too bad I don't get HBO, I could enjoy the best show on TV as early as January 6th. We all know Lost has only 8 episodes to air. Anyone know if ABC still plans to air them consecutively, or will they be giving us "off" weeks to try and stretch out the run of new epsiodes? Jericho returns February 12! Happy Birthday to me! Hey, New Amsterdam is finally going to air. I wonder if it weren't for the strike would this show have made it on the schedule? I don't know if it's good or not, all I know is Fox was hyping the ever-living crap out of it in the Spring but when the Fall came it was nowhere to be found. It is the most spot-on perfect parody I have ever seen. The way they skewer the Family Sitcom genre with such straight faces is unbelievable. They leave no sacred cow unslaughtered. They have the fat slob married to the hot wife, the dull-witted best friend, the sassy sister-in-law, and the precocious kids. It's pure genius how every episode is basically the same yet dressed up to seem different. And the cherry on top is the most obvious and grating laugh-track ever. I am suprised that such a well thought-out show that is so meticulously structured down to the smallest detail has survived on TV for so long. Kudos to ABC for sticking with such a wickedly accurate send-up of crappy family sitcoms.

...on my Torrent channel. Dunno where those guys get hold to this kind of stuff, but it says it's a "Revised Final Sales Master", dated 4/23/07 and with french subtitles. Anyway (spoilers alert), about the show. It has a naked Summer Glau, a new better acting terminator (model unknown). That's a big plus in my list, a Sarah Connor that doesn't look at all like Hammilton's one, hunted by an unschwarzenegger iteration of a T-101, a federal agent, a dumped ex-boyfriend, nad your typical drinking beer buddies that are set to give them "boots, clothes and motorcycle". We even get shown the "other side" of a time traveling machine, this time towards the future, some future weapons too (built in the 60's), and bare ass runners; but I'm sort of wondering how they'll keep the whole "running away" story interesting, without being repetitive. And by the way, Happy New Year to everyone!

Robin Hood Series 2 ended last week in the UK so it should be airing on BBC America within the next couple months. Im hoping that due to what happened in the finale they'll finally have Friar Tuck in Season/Series 3! New seasons/series of Torchwood and Doctor Who are premiering soon (thank the gods...otherwise I wouldn't have anything to watch except American Idol and Stargate Atlantis). So is a new season of another British show I love called Primeval. I saw the Sarah Conner Chronicles pilot back in September and loved it. So I'll at least have one new show to watch. :P Battlestar Galactica's new season starts in March, not April. All the promos on sci-fi channel have been saying March.

This should be enough to keep me satisfied, except for the truncated season of LOST. I'm hoping the strike ends soon and we can get the other 8 episodes in the fall, followed by 16 eps in spring 09.

Sounds like a crappy American version of Hotel Babylon. Do American TV execs not realize we can undertstand Brit English. Looks like I'll be watching the Terminator series, Atlantis and a whole lot of BBCA.
