that's not a very good shot. Those colors don't mesh well at all. It almost looks like a cheap fan art collage. I'll still see this opening weekend, as I'm one of the very few that thinks Pixar hasn't had a single misfire yet (Cars included).

That is a really unimpressive picture. It looks like something a high school kid did at home with photoshop lens flares and a freeware modelling program. I'm sure it will be good because Pixar hasn't dropped the ball yet, but there is absolutely nothing revealed about this movie yet that intrigues me in the slightest.

Just went to see Juno last night and heard a familiar metallic gurgle as I walked into the hall leading to the theater. I looked to my right, and there was an impressive cardboard model of Wall•E, about ten feet tall (including the large cardboard crate beneath him). Very cool.

I'm most interested to see this because of its promise of having very little dialogue, hence its potential universal appeal.

I'm hoping for a home version of Wall•E, ala the remote control R2-D2, so he can bring me a beer from the kitchen. When he arrives at the couch, I want him to oooh like he does in the trailer, then sigh because he's a robot and can't drink.

its got all the demographics covered. should be huge.

I'm sorry but I'm real tired of the ol' Pixar movie formula. I liked their movies for a while, but cars was a little tired on the theme and Ratatoullie was just bad, and sad. Their movies look great, but they getting to be beat-by-beat predictable and boring. Wall-E as a character just looks stupid. Like a pair of Binoculars stuck to a rolling lunch box. Dumb. I'm tired of pretty visuals, I need more.

While my friends all loved Ratatouille and considered it one of their favorite movies of all time, it just didn't do it for me. I'm also tired of the same type of humor and formula. I know I'm in the minority, but Pixar movies are wearing thin with me, and I'm not digging the Wall-E stuff so far.

Mori, that image may have come to you from Disney, but NO WAY did that escape from Pixar. I've seen fanboy art that could at least get the shadows right, and NO ONE at Pixar would EVER allow an image out of their shop with a generic lens flare in it (much less one which is opaqued by a foreground object like Wall-E's right eye). The composition is ridiculous, the textures are mediocre, and the 3d character (something Pixar has a little experience with) lacks any dimension at all. I'll believe that's a Pixar image when i see it on their site. Til then, to reiterate, See Message Title Above.
