I DO agree with the oversaturation, but to an extent. For an example, seeing people like Hader and Wiig in this seems right, for whatever reason, but Jonah Hill popping up at the restaurant seems excessive, and you know, because I'm almost positive they were just filming, Jonah shows up on the set to hang out, and they were like, "Hey man, you should just do this role". This isn't necessarily a bad thing, and the whole "friend" vibe works for them, but in some cases, yeah, it's too much. And in regard to Bell's breasts, there was a running joke on Veronica Mars about how flat she was, and it has seemed like recently they've gotten bigger, but bras can do a lot. They're by no means BAD breasts at all though. At all.

This is EXACTLY what killed that whole line of Vaughn/Wilson/Ferell comedies, when like 5 came out at once, and when Apatow's movies (arguably, these previous movies were "his" too to an extent, with him producing some, but not really his) came out ,they were a breath of fresh air. It's a tough line to straddle though. Apatow directing/writing one a year is fine, but the movies are doing well, and people want more, and then suddenly one movie a year turns into how Apatow's producing friend gets to make one, and his writing partner from Undeclared wants a shot, etc. I haven't gotten sick of them yet, but I just hope they don't go too far with this (especially with Pineapple Express coming out soon too). I think that if Apatow were to put Undeclared, or some new show on NOW though, with some of these people, it would definitely prosper, and I'd love to see him back in TV.

it was kinda lame. interestingly, the best part about it was russell brand. he is a twat though and that's what makes him work in this movie. he's supposed to be one. kristen bell is supposed to be a bitch too, although that didn't work too well. jonah hill turned in some weak work here, although its not all bad. and paul rudd walks away from this one with hs reputation as Apatow MVP fully intact. Segel's a decent lead. i'd say 6, maybe 7 out of 10 and surely a step down for the apatow crew. they should put pineapple express out first, that's a CLASSIC.

ruined Superbad. Their segments were too ridiculous for that type of movie. Those were the only scenes where it felt like teenagers (Rogen and Goldberg) wrote them. As for this one, I see it as flopping at the B.O., but also getting some decent reviews. That's just what I feel in my bones, here. No stars, hardly anyone recognizable to the casual moviegoer . . . At any rate, Apatow's gang will soon be replaced by another group (just as the Frat Pack was supplanted by Apatow's crew). No matter what kind of genius a person may be, it's very hard to keep making hit comedies in Hollywood. I know from experience--Apatow's. WRT Bell, I find her very attractive. She has the petite, cute blonde look down--kind of a Nicole Eggert for the 21st century. And whoever said she's girl-next-door hot didn't live anywhere near me growing up.

It looks like a typical Apatow movie, even though that, in itself, is difficult to define. Still, I am not complaining as it looks funny. Seth Rogen had a supprting role in The 40-Year-Old Virgin, but had a starring role in Knocked Up. Jason Segel had a co-starring role in that flick, and now has a starring role in Forgetting Sarah Marshall. By that logic, Bill Hader will have the central part (not that part, you perverts) in Apatow's next film. Call me Hercule.
