I guess everyone is still recovering. Heard they didn't get all the movies they wanted, that's a shame.

...Tuck Everlasting was about a cross dresser and a bad experience with superglue. Go figure.

This movie has made no money. Along with EVERY OTHER ANTI-IRAQ MOVIE has failed miserably. Why does that make me so happy? Sure it doesn't say anything about the art of the films (or lack of it). It does tickle me (code)pink that every lib out there was anticipating a big autumn of anti-war movies ruling at the B.O. Instead? They've all failed miserably! How sweet. I haven't commented in five years, but this final lefty anti-war failure seemed to practically drag me back to AICN for a victory lap.

Man, not much postin', either from AICN or the universally erudite talkbackers. Guess it's up to me, so here goes: Lucas raped my flames on Indiana Jones and the old chocolate covered pussy meh. Pretty short, but I think I covered all the bases.

THIS is how an interview is done. Elston put TIME into what questions he would ask. He showed up PREPARED, and as a result, he's got himself a work that could easily find itself in any number of trade publications. He also kept his own red-texty input to a minimum and didn't let the interview turn into an 'all about myself' ego piece.

Well done, Elston. You should be the designate interviewer for this site.

Agreed with ArcadianDS. This was a GOOD interview.

He's right. This film has made no money, and it won't get us out of Iraq.

You know I'm a fan of your work. You always ask intelligent questions and receive in-depth responses. You are one of the reasons why I keep coming back to this site. Looking forward to catching this film in the theatre.
seems like Gunn posts on AICN only once a year

If the music is any indication, the movie should be terrific. Check out James Newton Howard's work over at www.ScoreNotes.com ( a suite from the film is online)

So I'll be there. As a little kid, I was endlessly fascinated with Nessie, for whatever reason.
