Unless the trailer comes out for this movie looking like that failed NBC pilot from the early 90's, this movie will far from bomb. It will equal if not do better than the X-Men franchise. People know who Superman, Batman, Flash and Wonder Woman are. I don't necessarily see eye to eye with the casting, but armchair quarterbacks rarely do. My biggest concern is Armie Hammer being so young and baby faced, but I'm sure Miller knows what he is doing...I hope. As for Routh, I don't think he did a poor job, but Singer sealed his fate by making him imitate Chris Reeve. I would prefer to see the likes of Welling taking the helm, but in the end, as long as teh guy they get looks the part and can act his way out of a box, I will be happy. This isn't an Academy Award driven movie we are talking about. This movie will make $200 domestic easy.

a great Wonder Woman. She looks the part. Dark hair and darkish skin. As someone already noted that's half the battle. Her character was a bit more than just a sassy whore, she was also a classy whore. That was one of the great parts about Firefly. Mal may have looked down on her occupation, but society as a whole saw her as socially more respectable than Mal. As for her acting, check out the scene in Serenity when Mal makes the "Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner" allusion and she shoots him a perfect WTF look. It's difficult to be both classy and a strong female lead. Most directors just put a weapon in the actress's hand and assume that's enough, but ask yourself, is Jessica Biel or Jessica Alba believable in any role they've ever played?
