Hiro returning four months later...
by Prof. Pop-Cult
Nov 12th, 2007
06:08:24 AM
I hope they explain in tonight's episode why Hiro returned to the present four months after the events of the season finale. That just makes no sense. Why didn't he choose to return to Kirby Plaza just seconds after he left? (It's also illogical why Hiro would write letters to Ando -- did Hiro not expect to return to the present day?) It seems to me it would have made a lot more sense that in last week's episode, in the last scene, Hiro returns to Kirby Plaza and watches Peter go nuclear in the sky. Then in the next episode (tonight's), we see the events that occurred after last season's finale, and learn why Hiro cannot save his father, and why he then must jump four months into the future.
Return to the rooftop...
by Prof. Pop-Cult
Nov 12th, 2007
06:15:50 AM
Actually, scratch that... it would have been more fitting if Hiro showed up on the rooftop balcony set (the one that overlooks the NYC skyline) in time to see Peter go boom over the sky. That's how last week's episode SHOULD have ended -- with a big OMG! moment when we the viewer realize that Hiro has returned to the moment of the first season finale. So what happens next week? An episode entitled "Four Months Ago..."

Although it yet has to be seen if the changes will bring the improvement we all want its pretty good of him to stand up and admit that most of the flaws that all of the fans have been moaning about were big mistakes and that he is going to listen and correct them. Im very happy that in a way we are going to get a second chance at season 2..but really if Kring was that exceptional at his Job these stories should have never got off the drawing board. They really need to hire some decent comic book writers in an advisory role.

As far as Adam/Kensai not killing Hiro as a youth, if he did that, he wouldn't have discovered he was immortal (as soon as he did anyway) and would've stayed a drunk, not noticing his liver never failed him. As far as 'rebooting', I hope they don't mean a continuity reboot. Damn writers and their whining over more money.

" By Omar. Ok so this season's been kind of slow so far. Gee that's never happened in a TV show before has it? I really get tired of the whinning! Kring said he's heard the complaints and said he's going to act on them. Please don't try to tell me that you know what he's going to do ahead of time also! Because that would be kind of childish and stupid wouldn't it? I really think that this show has a lot of promise. But it won't get there instantly. No show does. Sorry little kids no instant gratification. Given that most of the rest of TV really is a wasteland of mindless crap with only a few exceptions this show deserves a chance to survive. First of all, correct spelling will always make for a more effective argument. Secondly, you disproved the point you were attempting to make - Kring DID say he heard the complaints. Because of the "whining" that many of us did, we've got the potential to get an improved product. So how exactly did "whinning" about the show become detrimental?

Just wanted to get his sorry ass in the talkbacks to torment you all - HAHAHAHAHA Seriously though, Tim Kring claims to have never read comic books - I am tempted to believe him more and more as he is breaking the cardinal rule of superhero stories. USE THEIR SUPERPOWERS - at least more than 45 seconds per hour long episode. Too many characters, and too much downtime. Such a great premise with so much promise derailed by the one-two punch of trying to soft-start season two followed by a writers strike.
Time Travel Sucks
by Itchy

No one can ever get it right. It's a ridiculous little Deus Ex Machina that writers rely on because they are lazy, and then they get all confused and can't ever explain why a person with time travel ability wouldn't do X, Y, and Z. The whole Hiro plotline has gone to crap and they simply can't explain the damn thing to anyone's satisfaction. If I had time travel ability though, I'd use it to leap back in time to when Kristen Bell was 17 and then I'd pop her cherry. Mmmm. That would be one for the mental DVR.

I agree that's how last week should have ended. The Kensi/Peter thing was cool but Hiro jumping back in time after learning of his father's death and hiting the 4 month later mark would have made more sense. However I think that this 4 months later is an attempt at catching last years auidence with something familiar. However I don't think most pople like seeing the same thing. It's a mistake that producers make all the time, and Kring is a producer not a geek. I really think if Fuller would have stayed on, we would have seen something completely different.

for volume 3 here is what I would do if I was Kring, I can do it in 3 words

For all the complaining, HEROES is still like one of the best shows on TV. It's main problem is too many characters and, to be honest, a budget too small to realistically meet the expectations of the audience. They need to pace themselves better and keep the reveals coming, that should work to keep both the studio and the audience happy.
Adam Sylar Peter three way rumble? Um... no?
by turketron
Nov 12th, 2007
11:45:24 AM
WHY would Adam be included in this 3 way rumble? Seems that he can regenerate... and nothing else. Sylar and Peter would obliterate him, with their catalog of powers (if Sylar does indeed get his powers back) unless Adam has some other powers we haven't seen yet.

And revyou, you might want to rethink your "budget too small" argument. If anything, the budget is bigger than other shows that do big special effects / fight set pieces weekly (the Joss Whedon shows, Smallville, Supernatural, BSG). Not positive, but I believe those shows have/had smaller budgets.

The only part about this series that was awesome was the hype leading up to it all last summer. Then it hit with a midicore thud. And its really never gone anywhere since then? The awesomeness lies in our want for a live action X-men show. I'll call this show awesome when they bring back left over Trek Stars that matter like William Shatner (you know Spock is going to come eventual with the whole movie and what not) and resurrect Dr. Tolian Soran's wasted character and have Kirk have his revenge, just like he is going to keep his promise to Maltz over on Boston Legal!

Hiro's time traveling...
by Prof. Pop-Cult
Nov 12th, 2007
12:30:15 PM
I understand that the show is saying that Hiro has spent four months in feudal Japan. So when he returns to the present, it is four months later. But the whole thing just doesn't make all too much sense, since Hiro can apparently go back to whatever time he chooses. So is he going to refuse going back in time to try to save his father, because he fears it would mess up the timeline further? That just sounds lame, and yet I wouldn't be surprised if that's what he says tonight. I think Hiro's power should have been limited in the way the writers conceived it last season: He can project himself into the future, but only for a limited time and is then pulled back to the present. He can't go into the past. And he can't stop time. I think these limitations would have made his power more interesting and better to write stories around.
Other power restrictions: Peter and Sylar
by Prof. Pop-Cult
Nov 12th, 2007
12:35:55 PM
Likewise, they should have restricted Peter's power. For example, maybe he can only hold onto a few powers at a time, or maybe even just one. A similar restriction could have been put on Sylar -- I would have allowed him to gather as many powers as he wants, but the more he gathers, the weaker each power becomes.

A couple of thoughts on plot issues
by DreadPirateRoberts
Nov 12th, 2007
12:59:16 PM
I am not so worried about Adam not killing Hiro as a child before he had his powers. Adam has no way of knowing what might change if Hiro never comes back and meets him in the past. So adam is better off waiting until he is sure Hiro has come BACK from the past and then going after him. I also agree on the need to have restricted Peter and Sylar originally. They are both so overpowered the writers keep needing to make up excuses to hold them out of the fight. A simple idea on Peter's part would have been to simply say that his power absorption only last for a set time after he meets someone, since the longer he goes at this point the closer he gets to being a god. As it is he should be unstoppable, since he can stop time, and he could stop time in any battle, absorb the powers of everyone present, and then mop the floor with them.
Just A Few Ideas

(1) I'd put J. Michael Straczynski in charge of this show. Why? Firstly, the guy knows how to plan a story arc involving multiple characters. Watch the entire Shadows story arc in B5 and you'll see what I mean. Secondly, Rising Stars. That's all I need to say here.

(2) Turn Peter bad. Shocker eh? But why not? I'm talking a Willow style story here. Take a good guy with the powers of a God, make them lose something that's dear to them and set them loose to destroy the world. It would be far more interesting than Adam as we already know Peter and you could then force Nathan to have to step up to him (ala Buffy versus Angelus). The stakes would be much greater.

(3) Push Hiro further towards his change into the future Hiro as seen in season one. At the moment, he's still very much like the guy we first met back in episode 1 (bumbling, slightly nervous, unsure of himself). The writers need to show some progression here and start inserting moments where he looks as though he's becoming the badass Hiro we glimpsed. He's got a sword. Let's see him use it.

(4) Give us some villains who are a real and credible threat. One of the reasons that the Buffy villains were so good is that you really didn't know how some of them were going to be defeated. Take a look at Glory for example. She whipped Buffy's ass in multiple episodes and completely fractured her group of friends. Adam is 'okay' but is he really much of a threat if everyone stands against him? Doubtful. Sylar displayed some of this in the early episodes of season one but looked less and less formidable as the show went on. This show is called 'Heroes' but heroes need proper villains to stand against.

Oh and to the JOURNEYMAN fans here.

... the best thing about Mohinder is that here is an Indian as a regular on a prime Time series that doesn't talk like Apu or work at a convenience store or as a taxi driver...

... the Wonder Twins alas, live up to (down to?) stereotypes about Latinos/Latinas...

They have really dumb powers also... although if the boy twin (see I forgot his name already) is able to heal his sisters evil contagion, it would be cool (and less of a waste of good potential, see my past rants at how Bob Midas and Sweaty Kruger's abilities have NOT been explored nearly well enough) if he could heal ANY virus... He could be the living cure for AIDS, Ebola, Influenza, even many forms of cancer!

The FBI agent said that money from the hijacking does pop up now and again. Doubtful that the FBI has the resources to check every bill in circulation so it is possible that Dan could drop $20,000 at an illegal poker game without every dollar showing up on the FBI's radar.

I do think Dan should have told his brother by now. When he had their accounts frozen he showed himself as being a huge pain in the ass and wasn't going to just let it go.

Y'know since they're showing people developing their powers and gaining more and more control over them, I'm wondering if that'll actually make Adam more formidable as a villain? Maybe there's an extension of the regeneration power that makes him impervious to damage at all, which could make him a bit of a juggernaut if you wanted that 3-way rumble with Sylar and Peter. I'm also curious if they'll merge some of these different-but-similar powers together to reduce the number of archetypical powers. Micah and Hana have somewhat similar powers, So do Bob and melting stuff guy from Season 1. And of course Sylar and Peter. Flight (in the context of a Power) is a form of telekinesis. Maybe people are learning about the existence of their powers from one particular angle - only one facet of a larger power that it takes them longer to grasp. Since Gabriel Gray was a watch repairman, his accumulation of power came through analyzing and dissecting (as far as we can tell), but for Peter, it's through some sort of emotional understanding which has since blossomed into merely a proximity. Maybe at some point Sylar will be able to gather powers the same way! Maybe at some point Nathan will be able to move other things than himself. Definitely something that they could explore in a very long and drawn out way - it could easily stretch out over an entire series. Good times! In the meantime, I think the slow reveals are just fine. If they got to go full out with their powers every week, before too long it would be episodic rather than serial.

Could it be? The only picture I've seen of their father is blurred out for some reason in the old heroes group photo. It looked like he had blonde hair (like Kensei/Adam). Also, Claire can regenerate like him and Claire's Nathan's daughter. Did he perhaps pass his abilities down to his granddaughter? I know Peter saw him last week, but he doesn't have all of his memories back yet so he may not recognize his own father yet.....Just a theory.

TV Guide Heroes covers.
by Napoleon Park
Nov 12th, 2007
03:48:34 PM
The TV Guide Heroes issue with multiple covers

This weeks issue of TV Guide features four alternate covers. The familiar red and white TV Guide logo shares the black masthead with a yellow to orange "Heroes" logo with a purple drop shadow.

The characters, artists and background color motifs on each cover are:

NAUSICAA with Parkman, Nathan and Mohinder by Phil Jimenez - lavender to orange

CLAIRE with Peter, HRG and Elle by Michael Turner - orange to lavender

SYLAR with Maya, Monica and Micah by Tim Sale - lavender to blue

HIRO with Kensei and Ando by Jim Lee - blue to lavender

Jimenez' portrait of Ali Larter is quite good. The cover is surprisingly bloodly and gory for a TV Guide cover. Quite hilariously, his Mohinder looks like he's auditioning to draw Wolverine.

Fathom artist Michael turner's cover looks the most like a super-hero comic cover, with Peter using his power fist flame hand, Elle crackling with elle-ectricity and Claire and Noah looking very Supergirl and Clark Kent.

Tim Sale's cover is the one mailed to subscribers. He has the most stylized and cartoonish drawing style. If you stare, though, the Syklar likeness is extraordinary, in spite of the stylized lighting effect. Comparing the four covers side by side, Sylar's figure is positioned further forward than anyone else and it the most imposing character. (Sale, of course, is the artist who draws the Isaac Mendes paintings.]

X-Men/Batman artist and Image Comics founder Jim Lee draws excellent portraits of Hiro and Ando. The way the background figures fade into the haze, plus Ando's blue trenchcoat with turned up collar makes him look like Denis Cowan's version of The Question.

The recurring s-key "Godsend" symbol appears in the background on each cover.

I mention the background washes because, although the colors don;t match up perfectly, the covers can be connected side by side, in this order: Niki/Jessica, Claire, Sylar, Hiro. The colors and designs on the right of the Hiro cover also allign with the left side of the Nausicaa cover, so the covers can really be lined up in any order, or in a loop. with one minor glitch. All the characters are centered so they don't touch the left or right borders, but Hiro's drawn sword extends to the right edge of the page, which is why I listed the cover with his last, and on the far right. On the other hand, the Hiro and nausicaa colors and design line up better then the mis-matched shades of purple and lavender on the Claire and Sylar covers.

I really have no idea who would buy four copies of TV Guide just to line up the covers, but you can download all four images at the TV Guide website and attach them to each other with Photoshop or any similar photo editing program. [Open Office Draw 2.3 or Paint.NET might work, but I haven't explored wotking with them yet. Both are downloadable freeware - use Google for a source. Gimp 2.4, also freeware, is now available but I tried a previous build and didn't care for it.]

"Chuck"

CIA agent Bryce Larkin is retrieving essential government secrets when he falls into a deadly trap. As his enemies close in around him he places the information in an e-mail and sends it to his former college roommate.

Chuck Bartowski, the recipient of that e-mail, opens the message and has the governments secret information downloaded into his subconscious mind, as Bryce destroys the original and only copy of the info.

The government needs Chuck's help on essential missions, but requires him to maintain his life as an employee of the Buy More store chains computer repair Nerd herd. To keep tabs on him NSA Agent Casey gets a job as a Buy More salesman and CIA agent Sarah works at a nearby snack shop and poses as Chucks new girlfriend (and romantic entanglements ensue).

Chuck's frequent and unexplained absences cause problems with sister Ellir, whom he shares and apartment with, and his Buy More co-worker and best friend Morgan.

A comedy thriller with good action scenes and some pathos, "Chuck" is a series that might appeal to fans of "Alias" and "She Spies"

Zachary Levi (Chuck Bartowski) Series star Zach Levy has been acting for six years with 16 roles credited on his IMDb resume, and is most recognizable from his role as Kipp Steadman on "Less Than Perfect"

Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah Walker, CIA Agent and ersatz girlfriend) began acting three years ago and scored her first series regular role on Chuck as her fourth job.

Adam Baldwin (John Casey, National Security Agency agent/tough guy) This busy actor has had 88 roles in 27 years including a regular part on "The Cape," "Firefly," "The Inside," "Daybreak" and the animated "Jackie Chan Adventures" and recurring roles on "the Visitor," "X-Files" and "Angel".

Bonita Friedericy (General Beckman, the giovernment liason they answer to.) Busy actress with 63 roles, mostly TV) in ten years - recurred as Ethan foote's wife on "the Nine"

Sarah Lancaster (Ellie Bartowski, chuck's sister) 33 roles in 14 years, regular on "Saved By Teh bell: The New Class," "Everwood," "Dr. Vegas." and "What About Brian".

Ryan McPartlin (Captain Awesome, Ellie's boyfriend)18 TV acting jobs since 1999, series regular on "Living With Fran" as Fran Drescher's younger boyfriend.

Matthew Bomer (Bryce Larkin, former college roommate, spy, deceased) With 9 jobs since 2000, with recurring parts on "Guiding Light" and "Tru Calling" and co-star on "traveler". Although the character of Bryce died in the debut episode, he has recurred in flashbacks.

The Buy More Gang:

Joshua Gomez (Morgan Grimes, slacker best friend - basically the Jason Lee character from any kevin Smith movie) 13 roles in six years including a recurring part on "invasion" and a full seeason on "Without A Trace"

Mark Christopher Lawrence (Big Mike, boss, 'the black guy') 56 acting j0bs since 1988, recurred as bill on "the Mullets"

C.S. Lee (Harry Tang, pricky supervisor, 'bald Asian guy') 20 acting jobs in film, oon Tv and in video game voice work, currently a regular on "Chuck" and "Dexter".

Vik Sahay (Lester, 'the Indian guy') 42 roles in 21 years dating back to "You Can't Do that On Television". REgular on "Radio Active," "Our Hero," and "This Is Wonderland".

Scott Krinsky (Jeff, 'the fat guy') 10 acting gigs in the last three years including a recurring part on "The O.C."

Julia Ling (Anna Wu, 'the Asian girl') 25 jobs in 4 years, with recurring parts on "Studio Sixty On The Sunset Strip" and "ER".

REAPER
by Napoleon Park
Nov 12th, 2007
04:27:21 PM
"Reaper"

"Reaper" is a new series on The CW Network that has drawn some superficial comparisons to NBC's "Chuck"

Slacker loser Sam Oliver has a job at a large hardware department store, the Work Bench (a sort of Home Depot parody). On his 21st birthday he learns that his parents sold his soul to the devil before he was born. Now the debt is due and Sam is drafted to be the Devil's bounty hunter, returning escaped souls to hell in various mundane soul Vessels (similar to Ghostbuster Ghost Traps).

To achieve his mission Sam confides in his goof-off best buddy Sock and they enlist co-worker Ben, forming Team Reaper. Once captured, the evil souls are delivered to the nearest portal of hell, the Department of Motor Vehicles, and turned over to the demon lady who works there.

There is an obvious strong attraction between Sam and co-worker Andi but he must keep his secret from her and avoid a relationship for fear of drawing her into the Devil's sphere of influence.

Currently the main sub-plot involves Sam trying to find a loophole in the contract his parents signed and the secret his father is keeping from him.

Bret Harrison - (Sam Oliver) Working 14 jobs since 1999, Bret was also a Sam (Sam "Thesis" Sullivan) on "The Loop" and Sam Cavanaugh on a 2002 episode of L&O:SVU. He was a regular on "Grounded for Life" and recurred on "the O.C." and "that '70s show"

Ray Wise - (The Devil) Credited with 116 roles at IMDb dating back to 1969's "Dare the Devil"(!) with recurring roles on "Dallas," "Knots landing," "The colbys," "Second chances," "Resurrection Blvd.," and "24". Perhaps best known to cult TV afficianados as Leland Palmer on "Twin Peaks", where he was the answer to the question "Who Killed Laura Palmer?" (Cool trivia: his "Twin Peaks" co-star Russ Tamblyn appeared as God on daughter Amber Tamblyn's series "Joan of Arcadia")

Missy Peregrym - (Andi, Work Bench co-worker/love interest) 15 roles in 5 years, with recurring parts on "Black Sash," "Life As We Know It," as as the illusion-casting Candice on "Heroes".

Tyler Labine - (Bert 'Sock' Wysocki, slack best friend) With a busy 54 roles in the last 16 years, Labine recurred on "Dead Last" and "Boston Legal" and was a co-star on the science fiction series "Invasion".

Rick Gonzalez - (Ben, co worker and 3rd member of Team Reaper) has had 33 roles since 1998 including a recurring bit on "Boston Public".

Donavon Stinson (Ted, asst. manager) has had a dozen roles in five years and recurred on "Three Moons Over Milford"

Valarie Rae Miller (Josie, Sock's ex-girlfriend) 14 roles in as many years, featured on the short-lived "Smith", she was "Original cindy" on Dark Angel.

Christine Willes - (The DMV Demon) 35 role s since 1992, recurred on X-Files, regular on "Dead Like Me"

Andrew Airlie - (Mr. Oliver, dad) A working actor with 88 credits since 1990, recurrred on "The 4400,", "Saved," and "Intelligence", appeared in five non-recurring roles on the new "Outer Limits".

Allison Hossack - (Mrs. Oliver, mom) 44 roles, mostly TV, since 1991 - recurred on "Profit,", "Hope island," and "Falcon Beach".

Kyle Switzer (Kyle Oliver, straight A little brother) Kyle's had five roles since he started acting in 2003, and was a series regular on "15/Love" (which may be why he plays a 15 year old on "Reaper" although he's actually 22 years old.)

(Bonus Trivia: Peregrym, Labine, Stinson, Miller and Willes all appeared on "Dark Angel".

Bonus Trivia 2: "Dogma" creator Kevin Smith directed the pilot episode, setting the tone for the series.)

"the best thing about Mohinder is that here is an Indian as a regular on a prime Time series that doesn't talk like Apu or work at a convenience store or as a taxi driver..."

Sorry to bust your bubble, but he drove a cab during season 1.

You know, season 1. That time period where this show's creators got NOTHING wrong, like, ever because the writing was 100% perfect all the time. Sorry to pick on you and don't mean to, but all this negativity is quite silly given the TBs around the time of season 1. This time next year, our collective will likely be praising this season's arc while bashing the then current season 3.

Isn't anyone else out there digging on the Monica character? Major Peter Parker vibe going on there. And I write this as someone that's become sick to the stomach of the whole New Orleans Katrina(tm) thing. Always found it amazing how a Class V hurricane managed to hit only one city.

"how does kensi's armor be in the museum and how can linderman get ahold of the sword if hiro brought it back to the present with him and since hiro took it from linderman doesn't that mean since he brought it back it would disappear since he never would have gottne a hold of it in the first place"

The series has already shown how a certain NOUN can be in the same time continuum regardless of whether or not it is supposed to be there by way of showing two Hiro's conversing in the same time period. Although the show hasn't underscored it, I think it stands to reason that if a character from the past can coexist with a character from the future that two inanimate objects can as well.

Where this reasoning goes to pot is with the Caitlin character. If she was taken out of this continuum and brought to one in the future -- and is abandoned -- then what exactly happens to her in the here and now? Does she just cease or does she cease to exist, period? I hedge on the former, yet still ponder on the time period she herself calls the 'present' (i.e. our 'future').

Gosh, I really hope they don't go that route and have that sort of thing not be permissible. Meaning, 'knowledgable' Dan meeting 'knowledgable' Dan. As it is, I'm struggling with the gambling ep that showcased Dan vs. Dan. Silly and contrived, which are two things that weren't synonymous with this series before now.

Let's face it -- why else would Livia not be able to warn Dan of his upcoming future during the time he wasn't able to travel?

What if present-Dan had to go back in time to fix something and have future-Dan come to the present because, while present-Dan was in the past, he isn't able to do something he was supposed to do in the present and it could only be fixed by future-Dan?

So that way they don't actually meet but we get to see future Dan.

"She no longer exist here, she was taken out of this time and cast into another."

I agree with you, yet your opinion is rather absolute. While you profess that Caitlin's fate is entwined with another time stream, you lose sight of our own time stream being but one of many possible outcomes, not the singular absolute "real" possibility. TB handle chrth has gone into detail on this more often and far better than I could ever hope to, but bottom line -- since she couldn't exist in *our* time period does not mean that she no longer exists. Hence, she could still cross over in a manner of speaking, were there logical and definitive connect-the-dots in the time continuum.

Sorry if that was too confusing.

I guess to use an example it would be the episode where Dan went back in time leaving his son stranded.

What I was looking for is if his son was maybe kidnapped (maybe not that excessive but something where he was in danger) and future-Dan had to save him. It would be interesting to see both storylines unfold at the same time. Maybe that's for Season 2 like you said. Glad I could be useful!

It could be fake, but it could still be real too. Both are plausible. Again, last season showed how two of the same persons could coexist in the same time continuum, so why not two of the same things? In the case of the armor, one being a relic of time that should have been (the pristine armor) and that of the burnt armor (from Hiro's altered past continuum) torn from that existence and inserted into ours. Each are a possible outcome, hence both can be represented in 'our' present, given how the show has handled time theory thus far. This is only plausible given how the show has submitted as evidence that two of the 'same things' can coexist in the same time period (unlike other 'time based' works, such as TimeCop where a person from the future couldn't come into contact with their same personage from the past).

whoa, man...first off, i don't totally understand what you're trying to say. but remember, hiro is too stupid himself to realize that he was meant to play the important role in history that he played. in fact, he is STILL worried about affecting future. he gave her the sword because she already said that she'd spread the word about takezo kensei. although it wasn't explicitly stated, he knew he was meant to steal the sword, which is why he gave it back to her in the first place. the moral of the story is: history will never change. no matter what hiro did in the past, it was meant to happen in order for the present to occur. the only thing that hiro can really affect in terms of affecting history is the history that the present inevitably becomes. basically, like season one's "save the cheerleader" deal, the only thing that hiro's time travel ability can really do is prevent a possible future from occurring. also, i don't know what the hell you're talking about. hiro's girlfriend was definitely hot, and i'd gladly make a paraplegic out of her
