I gotta find out where they are showing this in NY and if I have to get on a list to see it. Considering it's free I think they'll have to do a list since it'll get crowded pretty quickly.

I live in England, so I'm nowhere near any of these places, but you don't hear *me* whining, do you? What do you expect the makers to do, visit literally *every* city in America until you're all happy? Quit your bitching and just wait for the dvd or for it to be shown on tv if it's such a big deal. Sheesh.

Right before Season 3 of Lost started, my classmates and I watched seasons 1 and 2 in my school's theater. It was awesome! And I agree, where's the Vancouver love? The frackin' show's filmed here and yet we don't get squat... Breaks m' heart...

Los Angeles theaters

"In the Los Angeles area, four theaters will participate, with each screening the episode twice, beginning at 7 p.m., to accommodate the crowds. The theaters are in Palmdale, Huntington Beach, Orange and Ventura." Er, none of these theaters are in Los Angeles. Couldn't they get anything that's not 30 miles away from the city center?

I haven't watched this show ever, and have heard nothing but awesome things about it and was looking at the DVDs in Best Buy today...should I add season one to the wish list this year?

Seems to me Los Angeles usually gets ALL the screenings - test screenings, special event screenings, everything. So yeah, for once they can not be catered to and let other cities have some fun. and 30 miles? that's NOTHING. it's not like it's 3 hours away. what's the big deal?

Said "Fuck" cable and satellite, dropped satellite and put up an outdoor antenna. FREE Local HD TV, but sadly no Sci Fi. Too bad, but I'm not paying the Cab/Sat crooks out the ass anymore, for just a couple of channels worth my time. The DVD will be worth every bit of the wait.

I asked my best friend who has seen Razor the same question. He told me that Razor is pretty much a stand-alone kinda thing, so watching won't spoil anything when we finally get to see Season 3. There is supposed to be a 'tease' towards season four, but it's been described as abstract to the point of not worrying about it. I've been waiting as you have for season 3 (insert every Talkback complaint about the delay here) and I plan to watch Razor as soon as it comes out. Hope this helps.
You, too, Alamo!!

Reasonaxe, Regarding Season 1
by NoHubris

I own both the mini and Season 1 (the mini is Disc 1 in the Season 1 DVD set). Both are the best of the three Seasons, although IMHO the mini is surpassed by the greatest episodes of Season 1 which include The Hand of God, 33, Six Degrees of Separation, and Act of Contrition.

BTW the theme music for the US version of Season 1 is different than Seasons 2 and 3. IMO the Season 1 American theme set a better tone (i.e. apocalypse, destruction of a civilization, survival of the human race). But the Yr 2 & 3 theme is Sanskrit and may have some yet to be revealed deeper meaning.

Nonetheless, enjoy!

Here is the link: http://www.lvrj.com/opinion/10 849526.html Not only is the 'Joe' of their movie not going to be American, but the article describes the leader of Cobra as a Scottish arms-dealer. Doesn't that sound more like Destro than Cobra Commander? So does that mean he's been axed from the story? Or is he Destro's second-bananna? Didn't see anything about this posted on AICN, but if I just overlooked it, then I apologize.

Thats why they still post it. I had never heard of it until this post (and I gather many others had not also). I immediately headed over and registered. Of the 3 theaters in the Chicago area, only one was closed. The other two theaters still had openings for both showtimes.

...may not get a BATTLESTAR GALACTICA DVD shown on the big screen, but at least they don't have to pay three times as much for an apartment one-fourth the size. Think "Big Picture," people.
