Quint: I really enjoyed it and the guy that I saw it with was completely opposite. I’ve noticed that a lot that a lot of people, like at Sundance and a lot of people that have seen it now, it’s like you don’t get too many people in the middle; you either get people that buy the concept or don’t.

I saw this movie when it was playing on Wilshire. It's terrible, so you shouldn't care, but minor spoilers ahead. The plot is contrived but the filmmakers think they're being so clever. Ryan Reynolds is the only person in this movie that maintained any dignity, but you could tell it was because he was having fun playing the various characters. Everyone else acted like it was deadly serious. You could tell August thought he was making something really significant. Third-rate Shyamalan at best. Worse than "Signs", worse than "Crash". If you hated those movies, you'll hate this one even more.

Now Chris Evans, theres a sexy manbitch. Justice League will end up being the most unkindest cut of all. There is no way, no how, that they will cast the right people or make it good. It will blow, there is no one who could do it. Maaaaybe James Cameron, maaaaaybe Peter Jackson, but no one else. Sigh Also, speaking of Chris Evans, homocuriousness, DVDs, and weird movies, did they ever release Sunshine on DVD here? Was/is it going to be in theatres? Wtf?
