It was good, but then when Cartman harmonizes with the voice singing in his head, it moved to excellent. Hope there's more of a shared focus this "season" as opposed to it all being Cartman, in spite of him being good.

I love South Park, but let's please just put to an end the Family Guy haters who claim this show is so much more sophisticated and intelligent. This episode ought to put an end to that tired refrain. Looking forward to tonight's show though!

Guys, you know I love you. And I know you've had a hard time coming up with plots lately (you might find out if Pam Brady is now free again) but please, PLEASE, no more episodes without the four main boys anymore. That privilege has been abused one too many times. Tonight's ep was the last straw. In better days you could put out episodes focusing soley on Pip or Terrance and Philip and those ruled...but Randy taking a crap?! Never again.

Just plain awesome. I love the whole male vs female perspective on the importance of taking a huge shit. This show is deep people! Even a show about poop has multi-layered philosophical observations about human behavior. Does the Fecal Weights and Measures Bereau in Zurick actually exist? I'm going to take a Bono and weigh it!

they let slip that it feces was measured with katie Courics, in which I totally lossed it LOL Also funny is how Sharon and Shelley kist "didn't get it" (of course they don't how can they understand? lol) Kastly the whole emmy thing. At first I thought that was just some kind of bumper but I'll be damn if they didn't include it into the episode. Ahhhhh good stuff. Oh and it's good to see a show focused on just one kid rather than have all 4 in it all the time. It's like a comic solo one shot. pretty nifty. Great Job Matt and Trey!! Keep em comin!

Will they win another one and shove that one up Cartman's ass? Will the Emmy's find that satire to be funny? Come to think of it, where were Cartman, Kyle, and Kenny in this episode? Fucking hilarious, this show still has it after 11 years. I was laughing my ass off rolling around on the floor at the end, great stuff.

but still funny nonetheless. i liked the pregancy, guinness book and bono jokes. i cringed at the end when we find out all about the priest's biggest crap and the big crap twist. and i do agree please don't do anymore episodes without all 4 kids. just like keifer with 24, it's not a decent show without them.

the emmy voters will never see this episode. you only submit one episode for each category you are nominated for (and you can overlap if you like). that's why the award is such a joke. (well, one of the reasons at least)

It was a pretty weak ep. Last weeks wasnt all that better. I mean, Cartman having tourette's then Randy taking a shit, and next week Butters having a headache??? The Bono stuff was good, as long as they didnt make fun of The Edge. That guy is fucking harsh.

Not Bono, That Episode Was the Record
by _Maltheus_
Oct 12th, 2007
08:12:36 AM

At least it had one great moment: Bono "helping" the Africans. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The rest is just the same old shit from two guys who should (and probably do) know better. This show has become so "by the numbers," which is remarkable, given the content. And I don't think it was the lack of the four main boys (Krazy Kripples was genius), it's the reliance on gimmicks over stories. They could have replaced Bono and Couric with anybody and they probably will someday and call it a new episode.

11 seasons is more than enough for any show, I wish these guys had some dignity and would move on to something else already. If the Simpsons would have quit after 6 or 7 seasons, it would still be referred to as one of the best shows of all time. Good luck finding anyone who thinks that way anymore. South Park was even better in its prime, so this is just sad.

Time to hang up? Better during it's prime?
by tme2nsb

Any season after season 2 can be called it's prime, because the show gets better and better with each season. I love this season more than season 10, and I loved that season more than 9, and 9 more than 8...you can see where I am going with this. I bet all of these Family Guy lovers are the one trying to bring South Park down. This episode like the whole season has been brilliant--fucking BRILLIANT. You can't replace Bono and Couric in this one...because Bono is a total shit. He thinks he's a fucking god because of the things he does. Fuck Bono. As for Couric, her career can be refered to as shit. Matt and Trey are just putting their opinions (which I agree with about 90% of them) into every episode. Fan-fucking-tastic people.

I was definitely entertained by this episode. I laughed a whole bunch. That's the least I can say about it. And I also think they had a really interesting psychological platform to work off of. The entire episode strikes me as being all about men not being able to give birth, and as a result putting so much stock in the crap that comes out of their ass. Sure, it's an homage to "King Of Kong" (best doc of the year so far, btw) and it's another episode in the vein of the John Edwards and Mel Gibson eps, but I'm really surprised that in all the comments I've read on this one no one seems to be discussing what it's really about. This is either the fault of Trey and Matt for not making things clear enough or you guys just can't keep your head out of the toilet. That being said, I do feel like they could have explored the subject more thoroughly and relied less on the pop culture references. My guess is they didn't even realize just how deep they could go with the material. It's gonna go down as just an OK episode which seems sad to me. 2 1/2 out of 5 stars. FYI, my favorite episode of season 11 so far is "Cartman Sucks". I also loved the Easter special.

This is the only show on tv capable of making me laugh until I cry.

The quality of the show can vary greatly from episode to episode, but it is still better than 90% of the crap on tv.
