...why were all of them so bad? I mean, "Knocked Up" was nothing but an overlong compilation of old sitcom jokes. Haven't seen "Superbad" yet, but only because it won't be on TV here in Germany until 2010.

Knocked Up just ripped off sitcoms...what? Sorry, but the movie was damn good and Superbad was even better. Plus the cast for this movie sounds fantastic.

That's like a great lost joke from National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon starring Emilio Estevez! BTW, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that nothing about that cast apart from Paul Rudd causes me to give anything more than one-tenth of a shit. Now why doesn't Apatow go back to his roots and get a Larry Sanders movie in production?

Since you've only seen Knocked Up, it's kind of hard to make statements like, "why are all of them so bad?" Knocked Up's premise was a little sitcomy...so what? It was hilarious.

Annoying as hell, in my opinion. I'm not familiar with his radio show, so I can't comment on that, but whenever I see that guy on tv I wanna throw feces at the screen. Not that I ever have, mind.

I really didn't give shit as to what happened to any of those characters in that movie? 40 year virgin actually had a sympathic character (Steve), Knocked up just had a bunch of retarded stoners and that irritating girl from Grey's. The only person that was remotely sympathic was the asshole dad (Egon) who had way too small of a part. And I never saw Superbad because Johan Hill is the least funny one of the gang, I wanted to see it. But my experience with Knocked Up said rent it go see Halloween! ONNN looking back at that I may have been wrong. But Zombie has been awesome for forever, and it was sad to see that the second half of Halloween is where the movie failed. But for now I guess I'll have to hear how everyone on this staff would like to have sex with this movie and how awesomely funny these people are! I wanna see Aptow and Brad Bird do a fucking Critic movie! Lets just see HOW amazing these guys are and see if they can re make TV gold on the big screen. I mean we know Lovitz will do it, besides beating Andy Dicks ass what else is he up to? Plus Paul Rudd is getting by too easily on not trying, how come no one else on the Anchorman cast gets that much love. Because lets face it Paul Rudd was pretty much dead before he got a spot in that movie.

Isn't it about time Apatow & Co. wrote/produced a movie specifically for Paul Rudd? Carrell got Virgin, Rogen got Knocked Up, Cera/Hill got Superbad, and now he's producing Segel's movie. Goddamnit man, reward the most talented actor in thy posse! Give Paul Rudd a movie! He's so close to becoming A-list I can taste it.

Can't wait for this... next year is gonna be so Apatow-ish with THE PINEAPPLE EXPRESS, that owen Wilson movie and this one. Maybe Peter Jackson should make another one called JUDD APATOW SAVES HOLLYWOOD.

I am totally, 110% with you on that. Finding Nemo, Becoming Jane, Kissing Jessica Stein, all of that crap. It is really a huge pet peeve of mine and makes me want to punch a clown. I even got pissed off when I first heard the title of this movie until I found out what it was and who was making it.
