This has the potential to be one fucking great movie. Stellar cast, incredible source material and, so it seems, great dedication from all the people involved. If Tom pulls this off and I really think he can, he will be able to shake all this Couch-jumping-Scientology bullshit and be one of Hollywood's all time A-list again. I'm very optimistic and will keep my fingers crossed.

Perhaps its just as import to understand why love is a conundrum amongst the movie elite. According to Charlie on Denise Richards: "You're a sad, talentless pig." Seems Charlie's been getting tips from a certain, wife abusing pal Alec Baldwin. And now, the rest of the story....Denise countered by saying that Charlie sends shots of his "Free Willy" to those that request it including the whores on Whore Island. And there you have it....goood daaay!

I havent heard a thing about it except that its a political thriller and that redford, cruise and streep are in it. it cant be good that there has been no press for this whatsoever.

Lions for Lambs is

written by MIcheal Matthew Carnahan. The tagline for the movie is If you stand for something you will fall for anything. It makes the film out to be a joke. One might say that it applies to cruise. Carnahan wrote The kingdom. which is out in cinemas. but it will be gone tomorrow. It is completed movie. So how come there has no word of mouth.

is this(warning contains spoliers) Robert Redford, Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise star in LIONS FOR LAMBS, a powerful and gripping story that digs behind the news, the politics and a nation divided to explore the human consequences of a complicated war. Directed by Academy Award(r) winner Robert Redford, the story begins after two determined students at a West Coast University, Arian (DEREK LUKE) and Ernest (MICHAEL PENA), follow the inspiration of their idealistic professor, Dr. Malley (REDFORD), and attempt to do something important with their lives. But when the two make the bold decision to join the battle in Afghanistan, Malley is both moved and distraught. Now, as Arian and Ernest fight for survival in the field, they become the string that binds together two disparate stories on opposite sides of America. In California, an anguished Dr. Malley attempts to reach a privileged but disaffected student (ANDREW GARFIELD) who is the very opposite of Arian and Ernest. Meanwhile, in Washington D.C. the charismatic Presidential hopeful, Senator Jasper Irving (CRUISE), is about to give a bombshell story to a probing TV journalist (STREEP) that may affect Arian and Ernest’s fates. As arguments, memories and bullets fly, the three stories are woven ever more tightly together, revealing how each of these Americans has a profound impact on each other and the world. sounds...very..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz

why? becuase not only are they about War but they sound boring. Cruises next projects sound funny. Rubicon. Cruise Plays the man who tried to kill hitler. Not much mirth their i agree, but The Nazi's were camp, look at those hand gestures. Then their is the Hardy men. sounds like porn to me. Tropical Thunder. Sounds life soft porn. Then there is Men. Havent a clue what thats about. Wait.. I will go to IMdb.com and find out. Men is a todd Philips comedy about An advertising executive surreptitiously becomes roommates with his wife's lover--an egotistical artist--in order to sabotage their affair and save his marriage. Kind of ironic. how many affairs has cruise sabotaged, to marry the women of his dreams.

I was totally whelmed by the trailer. Sadly, I'm intensely interested in the subject of pretty much anything dealing with the conflicts of WWII. Tom Cruise, however, does not cut it as a German and especially not as Colonel Stauffenberg. For starters, Cruise apparently can't do an American accent, what makes anyone think he can do a German accent. The evidence in the trailer is that casting him in this part is as good an idea as casting John Wayne as Genghis Khan... oh, wait, that happened didn't it... and the movie sucked, didn't it? Oh well, I guess this is merely proof that film makers just won't learn, even when beaten with the evidence over and over again. For my part... I'd love to watch this in the movies, but, at most, I'll watch it at home on DVD... and as opposed as I am to piracy, it'll be tempted to get a pirated copy so as not to give the makers of this film any incentive to repeat the mistake.
