...that some of these shows even make it past the idea stage. It just goes to show you how truly disconnected the big television studies are from their audience...

Jerry O'Connell still gets to have sexual relations with Rebecca Romijn. Why does that upset me so?

not that I'll watch those but it seems to be working for them. More chick shows, less bad sitcoms.
Sitcoms

It seems like the only network that can get out a decent sitcom or two is NBC. Even if you don't like a show like 30 Rock, it's gotta be better than this crap. And I'm only basing this on the commercials I've seen, where one would expect some of the best jokes in the show would be displayed. Maybe CBS has some sitcom that's good, I don't know. As far as I can tell, Two and a Half Men is just a few funny lines and sexual innuendos wrapped around a crappy center. I mean, the CW even has a pretty good show in Everybody Hates Chris. But "Cavemen", and THIS show back to back? They are gonna have one terribly hour of TV.

This has been the best sitcom of the new season! I don't think any critic even actually watched it, all they complain about is the in car camera? Seriously? If that is your complaint then you didn't watch it. I totally vote Marmaduke as the seasons best new character, I challenge all of you to watch this new show and prove me wrong! There is no other character new to television that can top a man child with no pants raiding the fridge in the middle of the night for two half gallons of milk and a bundle of celery! You just can't top that as far as comedy goes. I had low expectations and when the show was over it had me voting for it for best new show of the season! It has a Napoleon Dynamite type of humor to it, in my opinion.

"Carpoolers" is about four guys who drive to and from work together. There's insecure neurotic guy with attractive wife and adult son, who makes a lot of money but worries that other people are making more. There's recently divorced depressed swinger guy whose wife took everything but his collection of phone books and a chair, apparently. There's black guy who apparently owns the car, and there's new trying to fit in guy. Faith Ford from Murphy Brown, Norm and Hope & Faith is about all this has going for it. The first episode was about a toaster. No, really. One star out of four, and that's for the funny-ish slacker son's inability to wear pants, either for an online job interview or when walking around outside. (Could be worse. I was already composing a "Crapulartastic" review. "It's no coincidence that the first four letters of the title "Carpoolers" are an anagram for 'crap..." and so on. It's not THAT bad... not quite that bad...)
