I'm not trying to be all "Slam the actor guy" here but it surprises me that it was that performance that caught Penn's attention. Especially at the end when his character became a cholo, it was almost comical it seemed so off base and inorganic. I dunno, maybe his character is supposed to act like a total poseur. I hear Into the Wild was great though.

It's pink and everything. Yeah, they got this material DOWN. Emile was great on Letterman, even though Letterman sucked because he had just burned Paris Hilton so hard just before Emile came on that he couldn't focus. Go figure.
