Has Universal Television just started to turn out nothing but remakes and "re imaginings"? Knight Rider was cheesy in the early 80s. It will be really really cheesy in the late 00s. Still though, I have to say, bring back the HOFF!!!

Sounds like a lot of money is going to be spent on CGI. I hope the story will be there. Will the "Hoff" be a part of the new series? I kinda hope he will be there sorta the same way Richard Hatch did with Battlestar Galactica. More of a nemesis to the whole KITT project, not really a bad guy.

I know the original was quite cheesy but I always felt they tried to keep KITT vaguely believable. Still, I'm sure they'll do a better job than Bay did with his transforming cars. They'd better keep Hasselhoff involved though, it won't be any good without him. Just so long as we don't get scenes of him drunk trying to eat a sandwich off the floor of KITT.
