Not sure I'm understanding all the love for this. I thought it started out really strong, with some great animated sequences, but quickly devolved into an ABC Afterschool Special about the power of friendship. The standouts for me were the aforementioned Juno, Lars and the Real Girl as well as the Savages, Body of War, Heavy Metal in Baghdad and Dainipponjin.
Are they still remaking scanners?

I read about that recently somewhere... might have been here... I watched that the other night, and then videodrome. Have you ever noticed James woods has almost no eyebrows?

Sounds similar to the real life story of those high schoolers who over the course of many, many years, filmed a virtual remake of Raiders Of The Lost Ark. I read that story in Esquire years ago, does anyone know what happenned to them?

Sorry to use the catchphrase, but in Juno's case it actually makes sense. Just like LMS, Juno hit it big at a major film festival and will go on to become a sleeper hit and maybe even garner some Oscar nods. That said, I think Juno is a better film. Much better.
