Pushing Daisies is so far out ahead... there has to be a fix in. I didn't mind the show but no way it's that much better than all the rest of the shows, especially those not mentioned like Chuck and Life, both of which I would put ahead of Pushing Daisies.

5% think it's the best, but 13% think it's the worst. I think I'll go with the majority, especially since it's on Fox. If it makes it to Season 2, I'll catch up on DVD, otherwise, forget about it.

As for Cavemen, I wonder if it really is that bad, or the critics just hate the idea of a show based on a commercial.

...because I can't imagine the ratings will be anywhere near good. It might last a full season if it gets a ton of good press like Friday Night Lights or something, but other than that it'll be done. Studio 60 won this category last year, so in terms of longevity it doesn't mean much. I am really curious about K-Ville now though, I think I'll catch the premiere tomorrow.

If you haven't seen it yet, you really owe it to yourself to see just how horribly that continuity can be thrown off to make a few bucks. Best idea for a show would have been to be Jerico if they could get it together before Jerico started airing. But they blew that and are stuck with -- I really don't know how to describe it. Terminator Elseworlds??? Really weird, screwed up stuff. I'll take T2-3D instead. How long til the net "Universal Studios" trip???

...But i'd be gobsmacked if it even lasts a full season. The premise is so black-humored it'll unlikely to catch on in hicksville. I also predict a swift demise for The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The pilot for that one was utterly uninvolving.

I'm shocked that anyone would put Bionic Woman on their top lists, when it sucked. Not too surprised to see Pushing Daisies at the top, as it's just the sort of thing critics eat up and the general public ignores, (I like it, but there is no way it lasts a season).

I actually liked the Sarah Connor Chronicles pilot, unlike the three who have posted here so far, but eh. Tastes will differ.

My most anticipated shows are Chuck, Life, Journeyman, and Dirty Sexy Money, (which is the only one whose pilot I have not yet seen).

I've also caught the pilots of Bionic Woman (not bad, but needs more dramatic thrust), Chuck (great fun) and Reaper (which has gotta find an audience, even on the CW). As for Viva Laughlin, I haven't seen the pilot for that, but predict it'll be off the air faster than you can say Cop Rock. I also really hate musicals...

since sarah connor doesn't count, I'd have to agree that pushing daisies is the best I saw. I'm kind of scared to get into it though because it feels like a cable show and I kind of doubt abc will give it a chance to find an audience. Bionic woman and chuck are both pretty good. They cram a lot into the Bionic Woman episode, but I think it will turn into a great series. Plus, there's the Battlestar Galactica connection, so you have to give it a chance. Chuck had great action sequences and was actually funny. Journeyman and Reaper are entertaining, but there's so many good shows already on, I don't think I have time for stuff that's not excellent. Journeyman is a more complicated, less likable quantum leap. Life was kind of boring. Gossip Girl is kinda like Cruel Intentions by way of the O.C., complete with the now standard indie rock soundtrack these kids would never listen to. Veronica Mars narrates though, which is cool. Your fifteen yr old sister is going to be obsessed with this show.

if you are in fact referring to the use of Clutch's "Electric Worry" from the K-Ville promos. These guys have been putting out killer music since 1991, and it just keeps getting better. Maybe FUX should have just gone with Green Day's cover of ""Working Class Hero" cause that would be way more fresh, hip, and marketable on i-tunes, huh? At least Clutch is in good company with John Lee Hooker being used on the other promos.

If you are not, in fact, referring to the "K-Ville" promos than I apologize and retract the accusations of your being either ignorant or a slut.

P.S. The Beatles catalog is being raped to push Luv's diapers, so I guess it's an eventuality for any band, apparently.

I've got my fingers crossed for "K-Ville"!

But I won't be holding my breath! I didn't watch the pilot yet 'cause I want to see it in HD, but I hope it's good. New Orleans could use a good show being shot down there right now. (both for the local economy and the PR) It'll probably suck, but maybe not...(any cop show with both leads firing guns chow yun fat, "two-fisted" killer style makes me nervous and hopeful at the same time...)

Get his ass outta New Orleans and back to Farmington, pronto! Antwon Mitchell was the best thing to happen to The Shield in a long time. I like him on the other side of the badge. Pushing Daisies will have trouble finding an audience...and will end up being the next Arrested Development...a great show nobody's watching. Plus...I worry about it's longevity, too...I mean....How many unsolved murder mysteries can this guy collect rewards on before the cops get suspicious? I think Chuck will have longer legs, just because it's Heroes lead in...but how many times are we gonna sit through him getting rescued by the hot blond every week? Hope Bionic Woman lasts long enough to have a Lee Majors and Lindsay Wagner cameo...hell...even Bigfoot would be great. I think the Caveman camp flubbed when they didn't cast the same guys and the same writers from the Geico ads. Reaper has me intrigued...but does anyone even watch The CW? As long as I have Earl, The Office, 30 Rock, 24 and Lost...I could give a shit if ANY of these shows make it.
Anderson cannot top his gig as Antwon Micthell

I agree with Brody. I mean, after an balls-to-the-wall turn playing a truly gritty, vicious crimelord on "The Shield", being in a cop show on a regular network must make Anderson feel like he's in a sanitized kindergarden.

I personally thought it was one of the worst ever in history. It tried to play on a reverse position twist on Lost flashbacks (which wasn't what makes Lost popular) with a bunch of characters I could care less about the boring drama in their lives.

Pull off being a good Primetime Soap like Dallas in it's glory days, then I'll watch. But I agree with whoever said above that it looks like a dramatic version of Arrested Development. And Pushing Daisies won't last until December. Quirky isn't what people like. It will be Wonderfalls 2007. ABC needed an action pilot, something that will be compatible with Lost when it returns in February.

I don't know if it's the worst of the season, but pretty bad. Caveman makes me want to scrape rusty nails across my eyeballs (the big joke in the original pilot was them singing, "I like big mags and I cannot lie, you other mags can't deny, when a mag walks in with an itty bitty mag and a round thing in your mag you get magged")

I don't think Pushing Daises will necessarily see early cancellation. It's more upbeat than Dead Like Me or Wonderfalls ever were. That may be enough to find it a wider audience. It's also on a bigger network in a good time slot (Fox only counts for reality programming). I didn't come across either of the other shows until after they were canceled. Still, the buzz is likely to be bigger than the share, and the network needs to accept that in advance.

I'm surprised to see so many into Chuck. That was a poor-man's Jake 2.0 and that should be saying something. I'd expect it more of the CW than of NBC. There's no way it lasts. I might not mind watching it if I had nothing to do, but it was too mind-blowingly stupid for me to ever care about. It's for the generation who can't graduate with even basic math skills. Sci-fi for the reality TV audience. Not that Lost is for rocket scientists.

Just watched the pilot on that free Amazon/Tivo dealie and it was a disaster. Directed by McG should have been my first clue... Journeyman was okay, but not good enough to get me to add to Tivo. Bionic Woman was also kind of dull. I might check out episode 2 to see if it improves. Looks like The Office and 30 Rock will be the only primetime for me until 2008.

They rank thusly: 1- Pushing Daisies. 2 (tie) Chuck and/or Reaper. 3. Sarah Connor (surprisingly good... i'm sure there will be haters, but it's well directed and there's definite potential) 4. Bionic Woman (pretty disappointing) 5. and last and certainly least, tonight's god-awful K-Ville. mind you, these are just the pilots, who knows, pushing daisies could end up being a pain in the ass and bionic woman could get re-tooled into a good hour of tv. Of the pilots, both Chuck and Reaper have limitless potential. I mean, one dude been uploaded with EVERY secret the government has, and the other is dispatching souls back to hell. That's five years of stories each for sure. Christ, i hope people tune in.
