made on digital. I think they used a Canon XL-H1 with a mini-35 adapter. I love film, but these are great times when you can shoot something and actually have it picked up for distribution despite the fact that it wasn't shot on film.
Yeah. The digital age definitely opens up a door.

It's like giving everyone a Film camera and an moviola.

Good times can only be had.

except for the premise."

Would be a great way to go. The only good thing about The Cell was its premise. I'm glad I got to read Stephen King up through Misery before I ever got a dose of The Tommyknockers and what followed, so my experiences with the earlier books weren't tainted by the crap. Hell, he was on such a tear, I didn't realize he had started sucking until about 100 pages into Insomnia, 7 years after the transition happened.

This flick is way more to be good than anything Roth will do with that crap.

If it is just a balls out violent zombie flick that would be great, but if they switch over to tounge-in-cheek too cool for school black comedy in act2 like the guy says....well then count me out.

To the people that are questioning why I said "Not like Cell except for the premise"... what I meant is that the premise is a signal that makes people crazy. Beyond that, it is nothing like "Cell" and you'll understand why when you see the movie. To Xiphos: I didn't rehash the plot because other reviewers on this site already outlined the plot in detail.
i will get out and see this

Crazy like killing themselves or each other? Or does it make them murdering zombies? Are we talking funny like Shaun of the Dead? I need to know this stuff before I part with $22.00 for a pair of tickets and a $40.00 trip to somewhere like O Charley's.
