for Diary of the Dead but its doubtful. It doesnt even have US distribution yet but it is screening up in Toronto. To be honest, i havent been very impressed with the lineup this year and Im hoping the secret screenings will be something really special.
I'm so excited about this.

Looks pretty good. Would have been interesting to see what thoughtful filmmakers like Fessendon or Brad (Session 9, The Machinist) Anderson would've done with the Halloween franchise if they were hired instead of flash-in-the-pan Zombie.
Looks like Postal's on the line-up.

otherwise we'd never hear anything about this *NOTE:Sarcasm*

sorry, I've sent in 3 or 4 notices about a Jericho convention in Kansas this weekend and not a mention. I'm not a Jericho fan but dangit it's nice to know when there are other conventions going on for geek related items not just the ones that AICN hosts

... will be one of the mystery AICN films. At least that's what I'm guessing based on the poster for the festival. If that turns out to be correct, damn everyone attending!

a real wasted oppourtunity. Paddy Considine and oldman are 2 of my favorite actors and I was really excited to see them in a thriller together but it is very boring. Such a great set up and premise and it gets totally wasted. plus both considine and oldman are awful in it.....trust me. its a real let down.

Got some of the most enjoyable films they showed on the line-up. In the features list, End of the line and Flight of the Living Dead were both Crowd pleasers, fun throw backs to the 80's horror videos we all love. The Cold Hour was one of the Spanish equivalents to the Masters of Horror series. I think it was made for a cable series called Stories To Watch Before Going To Bed are something like that. We saw at least 3 of them in Edinburgh and they were all very cool. The Cold Hour was one of my favourite films of the festival, and the only film that came close to scaring me, but my mates didn't share my opinion on it. I think I'm more claustrophobic than them so that might have swayed my opinion. As for the Shorts, don't miss The Fifth if you can help it, it is hilarious. It Came from the West was well received so it doesn't surprise me it won the Audience Award, but it wasn't my cup of tea. It seemed to the the product of someone who had watched Meet the Feebles and Brain Dead too many times (and I didn't think that was possible. Well regardless of what I think, you guys attending have got some cool stuff to watch. Wish I was there!
