But there is some OVA or something coming that maybe is a continuation or something so I'll wait and see. It's a shame that Gonzo starts out with some great ideas but then doesn't end up delivering the goods. Red Garden was fascinating. I agree the singing was out of nowhere... And for westerners who have grown up on the greatness of Disney music it's incredibly ridiculous seeing it handled in Red Garden though I do hope someday we'd see a musical film done in anime in the Disney approach just out of interest. But something tells me that won't happen and that it won't hold a candle to Disney. But I'm all for trying stuff out and encourage some more experimentation. As for long noses on the character designs... I've never had a problem watching Escaflowne and not even with Red Garden who took a more realistic approach... Many people do have big noses... adds character and cultural ethnicity methinks...

...people have been going on and on about the Geneon and ADV collision since last Friday. The ramifications could be enormous for the fans and the industry. For all purposes Geneon USA may no longer exist due to a parent company being upset with the bottom line. Volumes have been written on this and you manage to give it 2 or 3 short paragraphs???? Hey ...come to think of it - that is pretty good concise reporting!!! Thanks Scott Dude!!
