less 'Billy' character.

Plus minus 100 points for having the vanity vignette with Brett Rat(face)ner. I mean that was so useless other than for him to make himself look like even more of a douche than usual. Which was tough but he pulled it off. The only way that could have been any worse is if they prefixed it with "A scene by and featuring Brett Ranter".

Will someone just front him the cash for a penile implant already?

Has anybody noticed...

that nothing ever happens on this show? They manage to fill a whole show without moving the story forward an inch. Medellin has been done for a few episodes now, and we're still not at Cannes. They fill so much time with these side stories that have no affect on the main plot, like Lloyd's affair and every scene with Turtle.

This is really an entertaining show. It is a hilarious look at the Hollywood community. Love it. It isn't, however, even in the same league as 'The Wire.'
the only interesting character is Ari.

The side stories

I think we're geting nailed with side stories because there's nowhere else for the characters to go. The show used to have me by minute one and then end with a cliffhanger that made me want the following Sunday to be here already. Now, right when I feel like they might be on to something, it fizzles. And I feel like I watch the show out of habit. Although I'd still consider the show watchable, just not as good as it used to be.
And what show is this???

That whole fucking rich Jewish elitist school thing pissed me off. This where the Hiltons and all those other Hollywood assholes get that my shit don't stink attitude.

Why the fuck doesn't Vince have some STD? AIDS? Herpes? Warts?

Where is all the coke? The Smack? The pills? The drunken car accidents?

DIRT is so much more realistic than this fantasy world.

Personally I see four pretty white guys living in a neat clean house and BUT PIRATE springs to mind.

On the positive side Piven squeezing out the tears really impressed me. His best work since Cupid.

This show is getting way to sitcomy, I'm just waiting for a teaser like "Turtle takes heroin and almost overdoes on A VERY SPECIAL episode of Entourage!". Seriously, who cares about Ari's kids not getting into the private school, what does that have to do with anything? There's a reason that shows like the original Office and Extras are done after a few seasons, they get out before they get old, but most channels have to suck a concept dry until there's absolutely nothing left.

Even by breaking up the show into 3 groups Ari and Lloydd/Mrs. Ari, Turtle and Drama, and Vince and E they barely have enough story to plot to get past the 15 minute mark.

And then there are all the toothless celebrity cameos.

Still, Mrs. Ari is crazy hot.

Totally agree with you on THE WIRE - the photography and staging is excellent, and this, coming from a former SHIELD fan. It has a "true" documentary look, in that the camera work frames everything in a way that doesn't call attention to itself.

Re: "Sex and the City" for men

Yeah, that is what this show is, basically, think about it: Vince= Samantha (gets more action than anyone else, commitment-phobe) Eric= Carrie (the only responsible-thinking one, not commitment-phobic) Drama= Charlotte (more traditional, conservative, lots of personal convictions, rules, and policies) and Turtle= Miranda (odd one out, throws caution to the wind more often) Personally, I'm kinda glad, since Sex and the City premiered they've been trying to make a male version (Mind of the Married Man anyone? yuck) and it's funny to see they had to go through the back door and stumbled on one accidentally, with a show that started as a satire of Hollywood. I think its pretty cool, at least, and any show with Teagan and Rainn Wilson AND Mandy Moore AND Vanessa Angel in one episode is a good show.

I really liked season 2, but since the season 3 premiere the show has changed for the worse. It's interesting about the no outline stuff, I didn't know that, but it makes perfect sense. It now feels forced. Before I could feel the friendship between the group, and there natural sounding dialoug is what I loved. But now I don't get why they hang out together, they all have different interests & there is no feeling of fun or comraderie in their interactions. Alas, the show has become a sitcom. They should have one more season, & change the show from comedy to drama, & have all the characters spiral downward with drug addictions and such, it would make much more interesting tv, since it really isn't that funny anymore. But they are good actors.

All anyone can say is "theyre ballin! Theyre ballin' out!" Who cares!? Wow, rich good looking white boys in a fantasy hollywood with celeb cameos and brand name hip clothes and cars, Zero laughs, ZEEroooo character development. I can see why girls like it, but it is really, really fruity if ur a guy and seriously into this show. It sucks.

you dumb cunt. since when does character development have to be needed. do you change all the time as a person, these are supposed to be real people, people don't change that much. as i seem to recall seinfeld had no character development, that was a good show. back to the future had no character development, that was a good movie. these guys are interesting as is. whenever someone mentions "no character development" it's obvious they are dumb fucks.

... just might be a troll? Just a thought, but what did happen to that girl? She was cute & fun. Ari is Drama's agents, and it's totally realistic that he talks to Lloyd more than he talks to Ari - Drama's not a movie star; Vince is. My problem with this show is the 22 minute episodes- seems like they can only muster up a good ending every two or three episodes. Billy used to be fun but has become really annoying: they just need to get rid of him.

i do agree there has been a decline in the quality of the episodes. I guess thats possible when you try to do too many in one year. As long as there going to be moments like the furry fucking and drama at the grand canyon i will never stop watching this.
