...You don't get Jason Robards, Harry Dean Stanton, Piper Laurie AND Susan Blakely on a shitty teen movie. That's some cast list. Yes, the teens are all the usua; suspects: the Coreys, Matt Adler, Meredith Salenger, LaLa Zappa. But that movie was much, much more than the sum of its parts, and it deserves more respect than it gets. It rocks.

I think more attention needs to be paid to the fact that Corey Haim was one of the first big name teen actors to portray a gay character in "The Lost Boys". Let's face it: the poster of Rob Lowe on his bedroom wall, the "Born to Shop" t-shirt he wears--it was a brave decision as an actor on his part. Or it was probably Joel Schumacher's influence. He's never made a poor decision behind the camera, has he?

No offense to the Coreys.... I banged my first girlfriend during the Lost Boys. I'll forever be grateful to them. I grew up with the guys... License To Drive, Lost Boys , Dream A Little Dream....but that was then and this is now. I want to hear about COOL NEWS here. Not washed up has-beens. I watch Big Love, Doctor Who, Hyper Drive, Weeds, Jekyll, Entourage, Dexter, Bloodties, It's Always Sunny In Phili, The 4400, The Bronx Is Burning, The Killpoint, Eureka and a ton more shows during the fall. All these here are airing now or starting up again soon.... These get one or most no talkbacks. I know some of the geeks here hate some of these shows, thats fine. My point being they must at least like one or two of them. Hell I'd chime in on Painkiller Jane, Hex, Greek, Kyle X/Y or Jericho before this shit pile. So I just gotta agree with Losder here and say you seem to have lost it. Go find it and BRING IT BACK!

You obviously don't watch those shows to say their all shitty. have You even seen an episode of Hyper Drive? The funniest scifi parody in years. Killpoint had a critically acclaimed pilot. Eureka is an excellent show - totally offbeat and not your typical scifi. Doctor Who is only one of the longest running scifi series in history. You do know Galactica is CANCELED right? (err excuse me - this is the final season upcoming)Its gone because of low ratings with fan boys jumping ship in leaps and bounds. Not the "lets go out on a high point". I dont even know were this dumbshit show is going now - Wow half the fucking cast is a cylon now and this is still great scifi? Fuck at this point ADAMA will be the final Cylon. Which kinda makes a weird bit of sense - he was the moron who thought Deckard was a Replicant. And as a matter of fact - I didn't mention Lost or The Wire (AWESOME SHOWS)or Pushing Daisies, Reaper (which SUCKS SHIT BTW) specifically because they aren't back until fall. If you'd bother to realize - everything I listed was airing NOW or will be very soon. The point was - that the post was ridiculous because of the subject matter i.e. the two coreys- which in your rush to flame me - you didn't even mention. So enjoy your summer fling with the two has-beens. I'll enjoy the fine summer season and await the fall season WHEN IT COMES.

I know the producer of this debacle. He told me last week that A&E won't let him show the really juicy stuff they've caught on camera. i.e. Haim passed out on the sofa with a needle in his arm. Haim, completely wasted, shamelessly trying to force himself on Feldman's wife when he's not at home. Haim demanding cartons of cigarettes before he'll come out of his room and allow the cameras to follow him around.

I was going to snark about how I realize people are burnt out on all the Comic Con news but this had to be the most Ain't It Uncool News ever. But after reading the hyper bowls from the overreactors I realize that really, if we're strictly going by what's on now, in between the reruns and the reality shows, there really ain't shit on this summer. Oh, I liked "Saving Grace", obviously not to everyone's liking, but then AICN did do an article for the debut, so I can't complain there. And, yeah, I'm aware there's some good stuff on FX, USA, BBC Am, HBO and Showtime, but I only get basic cable. Can't even afford pot or gin, this f***ing internet connection and an occasional bag of chips are my last money wasting indulgences.

Because I had to flip over to Scott Baio is 45 and single. :D But it was cool to see the Coreys interacting again. It's amazing how some teams belong together. They're really made for each other in a way. But on the show Feldman's wife and Haim couldn't be more different. It's like they're from different planets. I hope it's not like that in real life. For Feldman's sake.

I'm not a fan of these kinds of shows, but I caught a few minutes while flipping through the channels last night ... it was just pathetic. As someone who grew up with the Coreys' movies, watching Haim "break down" because he wouldn't be in a Lost Boys sequel was just painful, but not in a "Oh I feel bad for him" way, but in a "It's so pathetic that 20 years later that movie defines his life" kind of way.

Hey remember Corey Feldman's Michael Jackson fetish? That phase is probably what killed his career alone. It was scary to see him on various TV shows dancing and dressing up like Jackson. I remember some teen variety show he was on where he actually sang and did his Michael Stitche (sp?). There was also the Michael Damien video for the song "Rock On" from Dream a Little Dream movie with Corey wearing his "BAD" outfit. Ha ha ha! I just remember it was really creepy back then. He HAS to be embarrassed about that time in his life. Why couldn't he have emulated Eddie Van Halen back then. Perhaps he would still have a career and be an Oscar winner right now. Dream a Little Dream killed their careers. They should've dropped the partnership after License to Drive. Also staying off the crack would've helped too. Feldman even dressed like him on those straight-to-video flicks too. Then he defended Michael when the molestation charges came out, which is always bad mojo. It's a shame because the Corey's actually had a lot of talent. Haim in particular had the chops.
