ROAD GAMES, PATRICK and PSYCHO II are good movies, and the F/X flicks were fun. Franklin also knew his movies - a massive Hitchcock expert...
I forgot he made the FX movies

I fond of those two movies. I liked Bryan Brown, he just seemed to disappear. The last time I saw was on the Mimi Rogers massage thing. Man, Mimi Rogers - What a MILF.
I like Psycho II better than Psycho

Psycho 2 is such an amazing piece of work. So underrated, and an incredible Jerry Goldsmith score too. Sad news.

Hitch i am currently reading Patrick McGilligan's a life in the darkness and light.. One of the best Biograhies I have ever read. I would really Recommend it to anyone, who is into hitch.

Who-? ya ask? Well-he was 102, great, durable character actor. Spent his whole life playing SOB IRS types-if you've ever seen It's A Wonderful Life, or You Can't Take it With You, or Petticoat Jct, etc--he's there. Balding, pipe, glasses, looking exasperated. Generally played that same irate business man for 60 years, amazing how long he lasted.

Franklin's Psycho II was a fine, solid job, just look at Gus_Van_Rant's little '98 re-do, to see how good Franklin actually was by comparison.

I just watched Road Games on Monday night.....

Seriously, I consider it The Godfather: Part II of the horror genre, insofar as its necessity in completing the narrative. Great performances, tight script, tasteful approach, and an absolutely haunting score by Jerry Goldsmith. (Anyone else think Norman's Theme could just as easily serve as Anakin Skywalker's?)

Evil orangutan. What more do you need? His "evil stare" is fucking hilarious. And Cloak and Dagger, that movie freaked me out as a kid.
A brave man to take on a sequel to "Psycho"
