I would be more excited about this Supergirl news, but it'll probably be another two or three years until we get to see Smallville 7 over here. Why the hell does it take so long?

And it would be nice if the so-called writers actually tied up the nagging loose ends, such as Clark's acrophobia that prevents him from flying, the glasses issue, wiping the memories of all the people who know Clark Kent has powers (you have the Martian Manhunter around, after all), his interest in journalism, his attraction to Lois, and oh, yeah...that whole Superman identity thing.

Didn't Chloe bite it in the past season finale? Have their been rumors of her return? Or did I just forget some miraculous return to life at the ep's end?

BTW, I've seen this Vandervoot chick on Instant Star and she's plenty TV pretty. Her acting is as good as any of Smallville's young leads (excepting Rosenbaum, who's still the best part of the series).

I hear ya NachoNegro. I don't know if it even makes sense for me to say that I'm not attracted to "hot" women. But that cookie cutter look has to go. All of the women I find hot have to have an imperfection or something that makes them look like they weren't cloned. If I were a woman who looked like that, I would at the very least dye my hair so that I didn't look like every other dumb blond out there. I need someone who I'd whip the skippy to.

I really do hope they go wild this last season and just fuck continuity right up its stupid ass. Not that Smallville is true to anything that came before it, but it's clear they try to walk a line and I wish they'd just veer off. And if supergirl flys (like they say) and all of these other Krytonians fly, then why wouldn't Clark be trying to do so all the time. Even a failed attempt. He even recalls levitating in a dream back in season 1. If I had a whole bunch of powers that I kept developing, I'd be trying new shit all the time. Dude has no imagination. Clark should start flying at the beginning of Spring sweeps. I don't care what they said they would do, they should cover it in the series. The movies all suck (even the ones I liked as a kid), so give us series watchers something. Make the last three episodes what Superman Returns should have been. Crappy eps aside, I know Smallville can do it better than Singer.

What this means for the show is that the lack of suit, flying, etc. is no longer needed to keep paying someone money. They have to pay the heirs money now. So the reason for no suit/flying are gone. So expect to see Supes in likely the finale.

2) I don't watch Smallville, but I might check up on her.

3) To comments on her breasts not being large enough - don't be silly! They've been padding breasts on TV since at least the original Star Trek, and I suspect, much earlier.
