I didn't see the first season but i've watched rest of them. And let me tell you seasons two and three were f'ing great! They used to bring in people from all walks of life and differnt ages. Now it's a struggling actors median that are all single and young and attractive for the most part. With the exception of the queer dudes that think they're being cool w/ their fake ass tans and boy band(er) hair and eyeblows plucked like fags!

I loved the earlier seasons. By far , Season 3 was the best. I had the biggest crush on that fireman Eric(the one that looked up with winner Lisa). This group looks so not fun.

I've been obsessed with the UK Big Brother this summer...first edition of it I've watched. I was blown away by how much cooler their version is...not only is the show more stylish and less corny...but they have energetic hosts, a fresh cast and interesting twists (this year, the house started as all female, for instance)...and a public fascination reminiscent of the Truman Show. From the minute those people stepped into that house, they were made into the kind of larger-than-life characters that this kind of show needs to create...before they entered the house, they walked down a line of publicity and through a mob of screaming fans before entering the compound. Here? We get Julie Chen and the tragically unhip CBS. Great. Though I will admit, last season was great, and the first I'd watched since Season 3...the idea of all the experienced housemates playing eachother was great.

Someone high up at Channel 4 was in the papers last week admitting to being embarrassed by it, but unfortunately it accounts for 1/4 of their Ad revenue. The whole programme is past its sell by date. In Britain this year it has been oddly compelling as I normally avoid it like the plague, but the contestants are actually being tortured with sleep deprivation and forced to eat "Slop". It has just degenerated into one big fight. Brilliant. The paradox of Big Brother is that anyone that wants to go on it is by definition not interesting enough to be filmed.
