I had hope at one time that Cartoon Network would create animated shows that would be tuned towards adults. Adult Swim got my hopes up but it seems to have peaked after a few years and is now mostly showing crap or constant repeats of shows from its glory days, if you can even call it that.

As for this Transformer's project, all I can say is DON'T. Not just the fighting humans (what a dumb dumb dumb idea) but the whole thing period. It's a retarded idea

and why why pray tell Transformers Animated? Like we're going to think that "gee there was just a live action transformers movie, maybe this is going to be on Catroon network live action even though all the previews are animated" DO YOU THINK WE ARE THAT STUIPD!

It's amazing how easy of a job these guys have... Transformers and Thundercats should be able to sell themselves as great action cartoon series yet they seem to constantly fuck things up.

I can only echo what someone else has said earlier - I may not be a fan of the original TF's, but you have my sympathies.

TF's is about Autobots fighting Decepticons - shit bust.

All I wanted was a big robot fighting another robot. I wanted to see it clearly, and I wanted it preferably to be in daylight. Not some snowglobe filled with glitter being shaken to death metal.

Shia LeBeouf is suprisingly charming. As is Megan Fox's stomach.

This cartoon is be underwhleming at best.

Something I've been doing through the glut of superhero flicks (I'm a big comic fanboy) is take her to the flick first, THEN show her the original source material. We discuss the differences (which allows for binding time) and ultimately she ends up with a greater appreciation for the source material. Read: she makes up her own mind how much an adaptation sucks.

Works for us. YMMV.
