Yeah, the interview was somewhat boring but at least he's to the point. No nonesense fluff that never really answers the question. I'm really looking forward to this film and to the 7th book.

Jeeze...what's with you guys and this short hair thing? My brother has a crew cut and uses a freakin hair dryer..what the hell is up with that?!?!?

Quidditch scenes are superfluous (except in 1st book). I don't even like reading them in the books.

Why the fuck would you come on to a board that you KNOW fans would be and spread shit like that, true or not?!? Does it give you some sort of perverse please ruining things for everyone? It's not just a matter of your character, it's also a matter of respect for your fellow fan. You are an asshole and if youwere in front of me when you said that, i'd rip your eyes out. I don't care if it's true or not, you have killed part of the fun of reading the next book for alot of people here. I hope your undoubtedly single sexual encounter in your life leaves you with herpes.
Heres how it ends

I think Rowling initially planned to have Harry being killed off. We know she changed her ending and spared one character while killing off two others she didnt intend for. In the place of Harry being killed she will kill off Ron. Rons character if you think about it, is one of the most connected characters, carrying a heavy emotional connection with more characters than perhaps even Harry himself. His death would shake everyone, just as a Harry death would. Hermione is safe. I suspect Voldemort will capture Harry to use him as bait to get to Harry and Hermione. This will lead to interesting interactions between Ron, Voldemort, Snape and Draco. Ron is doomed. The second character Rowling is likely to kill off is snape, who I also think Rowling intended to have live through the series when she first dreamed it up back in the 90's. It could be Hagrid, but I just dont think that would be as exciting and plot thickening as Snapes demise. Snape is really caught between a rock and a hard place. But Ron has been a classic foil character, who either takes the place of the hero or is killed, allowing the hero to become a 'man' of sorts. Ron will die, I am 100% sure of that. Snape I'm 80% sure of, and 20% sure Hagrid may be the second.
I meant to say...

Sorry I meant to say Ron would be kidnapped, not Harry. This would leave Snape in an even harder situation, trying to save both Draco and Ron from death. It will probably lead to confrontation between Voldemort and Snape.

I'll be interested to see how that's handled, if she indeed kills off Snape. There almost has to be a grand showdown, because although the Potter series is written in the third prson, there have only been a handful of scenes that are not written from Harry's perspective: McGonagal/Dumbledore/Hagrid in PS, Vernon/Petunia Dursley in PS, Frank/Wormtail/Voldemort in GoF, Minister of Magic/Prime Minister in HPB, Snape/Narcissa/Belatrix in HBP.

She's going to have to weave a REALLY tight finale to do everything she needs to do, or there is going to be a death or two "offscreen".

and other people's? Quint transcribes them in such a way that everyone comes across like William Shatner.

I guess it's Quint's thing- what makes him unique- but, you don't, have to, punctuate it, in such a way, that, no matter, who, you interview, they sound like, Stephen fuckin' Hawking eating a sandwich.

In conclusion: does Stephen Hawking eat?

It wasn't a leak. It was some jackass who said he broke into the publisher's building and read the manuscript on the computer. First of all...I call m a j o r BS bc its not like it would be easy to break into Bloomsbury's offices. Secondly, its not like random ppl would have the much protected manuscript on their computers. They'd be more careful. Also, the shit he said made absolutely no sense whatsoever. The trio goes back to the Dursley's after Harry's bday and THATS when Hermione is killed? pft. Years ago, I'm thinking it was after book two was released and JKR still did book tours, at a bookstore up North somewhere (Perhaps Chicago? everything is UP North for me since I'm in New Orleans)...anyway, she was asked point black 'will R/H & Hr live' and she said yes. True, this was years ago, but I think R/Hr are safe. She wouldn't w/hold the R/Hr love fest until book 7 or gush about them (in the post HBP mugglenet interview and in NYC at the Harry, Carrie and Garp readings)like a 12 yr old girl only to kill either one or both of them. If she killed Harry or Ron and Hermione for that matter, it'd be almost cliche. IMHO, up for the chop: Hagrid Voldemort(obviously) Snape and...possibly Ginny Meh, the spoilers don't bother me. I was spoiled as to who died in HBP but was still surprised when I found out who did the killing. Anywho, don't believe anything you hear...wait until you have the book in hand and then make up your mind as to if you wanna go all Misery on Jo. ;P J/K Smooch!
Ron and Snape die
by B Arthur

The writing is on the wall. Ron will be taken captive. Voldemort will use the imperius curse and send him off to his bidding. I am all but certain one of the three main characters will be imperiused. Ron is the most likely of all the main characters to die. Snape is also. Does anyone know where you can bet money on this?
Ron & Snape is my theory also!

A heavenly Ron will be selling 99's to Ol' Angel-Snape out of the great Ice-Cream Van in the Sky, at the end of The Deathly Hollows.
