That STAR WARS Arcade Game

I, too, have experienced that STAR WARS game, and actually considered skipping the movie (WING COMMANDER) I was going to see. While I made it to the theater in time for the SW trailer, I skipped out of WC halfway through, figuring that, if I was going to be forced to look at a video game, I might as well play it, too.

Don't let those bastards give you any guff. Some of us LOVE your long posts -- if I can't (yet) be a guest at ShoWest myself, I appreciate at least hearing about the experience in as much detail as possible.
Who's the dimwits here?

If I didn't know better, I'd think that the talents on stage were as dimwitted as the reporters. Connery may be ultra cool, but he sounds like a crotchety old asshole. None of the stars seemed to listen to the questions, and most of their responses didn't even match the question asked! What's up with that? And, was that all there was to the conference? Sure wasn't much.... You sure go on and on at other times Moriarty, why couldn't you give us the full run down.. to the end! And, if that was the end.. what a colossal waste of time.

from writing just the way you do. I loved, loved it. I can only imagine you know shorthand, or you had a recorder running. The poster who said the stars seemed stupid - well, isn't it difficult to hear the reporters in those rooms? Espcially ones with thick accents. And it does take a while to get those things going and running smoothly. I really look forward to hearing the rest of it. Great job!

You made me wish I was there! Trust Connery to make a scene, awesome old bastard that he is. And You're dead-on about Smith and his popularity, AND the beauty of Catherine Zeta-Jones. I'm a straight woman, and I saw her once here in NY and she stops traffic...SO lovely it makes your teeth hurt. Keep it up, I can't wait for the next installment!

Are people forgetting to get some true verification on Indy 4? Sounds like a perfect opportunity to ask Connery got wasted.

Did I miss something. Was everyone joking when they said they were glad Hanks wasn't there, or is there some dort of animosity?

The press have been all over ShoWest -- Entertainment Weekly, Entertainment Tonight, USA Today, Access Hollywood, you name it -- but absolutely no one has done a better job of reporting on this event than Mr. Moriarty. Keep it coming!
