"Bang Bang" looks like she needs to "Eat Eat" some fuckin' "Food Food." My arms are bigger than her legs.

In other riveting news, "When he’s a couple of steps away from her, she reaches out to the table, again not looking anywhere but straight ahead, and pulls a tea cup a few inches closer to herself. Bloom stops at the table, thinks for a second, then pours her some tea." MY GOD, IT'S LIKE I'M RIGHT THERE BEING BORED IN PERSON!!!

ignore the toffs saying this is boring. plus they've never had the pleasure of being/working on a set for a film like this. there's nothing like wacky characters, intriguing costumes, and PYRO to light up the day. a nice series you did here, many thanks.
Sorry Quint

storyboards in that pic. That's how they show intercutting possibilities, I guess? Quint, tell movie directors to make two sets of storyboards, one being a straight-up, shot-by-shot chronological progression, so set pics on AICN will be easier for me to understand. (Asking too much, maybe.)

It appears I didn't do a great job in setting the story for you guys. Sorry about that. I was trying to keep from giving everything away, but I should have definitely been clearer. Here's the breakdown:

-The film opens with the animatic I talk about. We see about 10-12 minutes of the Brothers Bloom as kids pulling off their first con.

-That cuts to a shot of the bookcase and "25 Years Later." These characters named Victor and Charleston are there and you don't really know what's going on. Victor (Brody) gets shot, the place is on fire, there are dramatic speeches and the mark of one of their cons walks out, the con over. Brody gets up, brushes himself off and the group leave the burning building.

-The Bang Bang flashback (the kitchen scene) happens a little later in the story when the Brothers are asked about their silent partner and how she came to join the Brothers in their cons.

Sorry I wasn't clearer. This project is great. It wasn't a set visit that brought to me, offered from a studio publicist. I read the script, loved it, interviewed Rian Johnson, dug him, and I pursued this set visit. Everything I saw seemed to indicate the movie is as good as the script, which was great. Might be a bit hard to describe in one sentence, but that's kind of the beauty of it.

Thanks for reading.

this series was a great 'heres kind of how movies are done' for people interested in that kind of thing. Regardless of the movie, I was very entertained by the coverage of the visits - it's the kind of thing you might find on the Discovery channel while surfing around the mid 100s, and think 'hmm..this looks kinda cool.'
Can people not read???

Quint, I had to sign up to the talkbacks to say thank you for your vist reports to both this and the Mist. Ignore those who say they don't understand the scenes in this report. All they need to do is take 5 minutes to actually read what's there. Keep up the good work. Cheers
Great stuff, Quint...

This has really augmented my own experience in Prague. Many thanks for yet another fine piece of journalism/set reporting. Wishing Rian great success with this one! Best regards, Josef K.
