Why don't any of the reviews/articles about this movie mention that Glan Hansard played Outspan Foster in THE COMMITMENTS? The movie's a fucking classic, and he was hilarious in it.

The music on their myspace site is wonderful!! Also ...as far as low budget filmmaking is concerned this film/how it got made is an inspiring story! Can't wait to see it.

I saw this last night, I am surprised at the amount of seniors that were at the screening before mine and the one I attended but it really smacks a smile on your face within the first five minutes and you'll wear it out of the theater. And Hansard has one of the most expressive mugs on the planet. Truely fantastic film!

Quint... I think it is so great that you gave time to this film. I'm dying to see it after stumbling across the trailer on QuickTime a couple weeks back. Unfortunately I have to wait until June before it will come here to Boise. I immediately downloaded Glen's solo album and an album from the Frames off of iTunes after seeing the trailer. Both albums are wonderful! I'm so glad that the Frames will be getting attention thanks to this movie. It was exciting to see you were promoting this today. I can't wait to see Once. It looks like a beautiful, moving little movie. And your praise and this interview only makes me anticipate it more. Thanks for making my day.
Late to the party, but this film is terrific.
