No horse jokes this time. I swear!

Q) What does it mean if you find a horse shoe?

A) Audrey Raines is walking around in her socks.

Yeah, his introductory episode was pretty sweet, but, goddamn, was he ever wasted. That's the thing about Season 6 - all setup, no followthrough. Sad, really. I was totally pumped when it was annouced that Bashir was going to be on "24". What a waste.

I dont know what to think about this program.. A brief Recap....for those dont rememeber... Audrey is alive and being held by Cheng. Jack decides to set her free by handing over a sub-board which contains the remaining russian nukes. Wayne Palmer signs off on what is really a suicide plan by jack bauer. jack will blow up sub-board using C4 and sacrifice himself and killing Cheng in the process. Palmer fires devilish Noah daniels(powers booth who likes he hates his role cause he looks like swallowing something inedible). Palmer addresses the nation and collapses. Daniels becomes acting president. Sandra screechy Palmer orders an Mri and blood scan. Discovers her brother was poisoned. She is unaware of his now running the country. She threatens to go to ACLU. Daniels Kidnaps her and hands her over to the Chinese were she is tortured, Kiefer lays into her for being annoying character and shoots her in the head. Daniels Bombs Aclu. Jack goes back to CTU and finds that Noah Daniels was behind todays events. Tom Lennox gets a spine. Confronts Weedy bollix, who is also handed over to the chinese. Weedy Bollix after being slapped around the place by a chinese ninja. Then declares his love for america, is accidently run over by Bauer. It is also disccovered that Doyle is the real mole and that he has been working with Milo all along. Nadja Ties him to a chair and then shags him untill he cant stands no more, confesses everything. Meanwhile Wayne finds he has an allie, the creepy blonde woman who used be in Invasion. after an offering more sex that he can handle, wayne makes a remarkable quick recovery, Wayne, Lennox, Karen hayse and jack confront Devilish noah daniels. Who vanishs in a cloud of smoke but not before laughing and pointing and jack ad saying "Who's you daddy, biatch!" The above could possibly happen after all Season Six has been pretty brutal this year.

I'm pretty sure I read on here last week that it is indeed the assistant. Even so, they're always very quick to jump to the conclusion that it's a mole (they call it a spy this time to keep it fresh). I don't know how Jack is going to get out of being under arrest this time, though.

This would be the only thing to fix this season. We cant even get more than three episodes of hip and happenin JACK SACK ACTION! Something big has to happen this season because it comes across as all SET-UP! This whole fucking year is a set-up to something else. What could it fucking be? What the fuck else could this show pull out of it's ass? Nevertheless, the writers of this show better be happy that everyone has decided to kick LOST around this year. If not, then, they would have to deal with people giving them shit for 24 episodes of FUCKING EXPOSITION! It does seem as if we are coming up on the real possibility that DAY 7 happens after DAY 6.

Noobs won't know who Walsh is. And that's why you are cunts. But long time 24 fan's will, and I think that would be pretty cool (not necessary, but cool). Tony though, I'm really hoping for a Tony Comeback. They know we want it. And the dudes making fun of Audrey. Yeah, she's not attractive, at all. But out of Duty to 24, I'd do her if it would please her. That is the kind of self sacrificing individual I am. All in the name of entertainment..

12:24:14 PM
Every season whatever disaster that's planned by the bad guys goes off, but is usually as a result of being forced to go off early or doesn't go off quite as planned. I know the "good guys" have to win, but I'd like 24 to have a season where the bad guys take out 20-50 thousand people... really raise the stakes and catch everyone off guard and sleeping. No, I don't want this to happen in real life, but on a TV show, hit us hard in the chest, put everyone's ass under the fire. Now last season they killed off Ex Prez Palmer and some others but that felt more like a stunt and they eliminated characters that had run their course and moved on or could be replaced. And hey, maybe I'm wrong, who knows, but hopefully they'll have something different planned for next season... cuz right now, I'm getting a little bored. I don't watch the show live anymore, Heroes has that "honor" and 24 gets recorded.

I was stuck recording 24 since they don't replay it and waiting for the Sci-Fi replay of Heros just so I could watch the Hockey game. Then my Stars went ahead and stunk it up anyways. I finally caught Heros and 24 goes back on "not live" coverage at my house. When are they going to get the "adorable dufus" role in here. Every show needs a Screech, Richard Stabone, Skippy. When is 24 finally going to get theirs?

I want VP Daniels to find out his secretary is the Mole and kick her butt and for Vigo-lover to finish off Karen Hayes. Lastly, Milo needs to put Chloe out of her misery and hook up with Morris.

According to both Howard Gordon and David Fury next season of 24 will almost be a complete revamp of the entire concept. Hopefully no more terrorist crap. I would like for it to mostly focus on Jack and entirely new set of characters. If only they would have Jack caught in the midst of the aftermath of a Hurricane for an entire 24 hours. That would be some damn fine television.

If Heroes is even watchable in its sixth season I will personally eat crow. The internet has become a VERY effective tool for the Heroes hype machine to go into overtime. Thanks in no small party to its cheerleaders at the Television without pity boards. Lost is still better than Heroes and I was ready to give up on that show at the end of last season. It really has gotten interesting again. I look forward to seeing the reaction when Heroes rehashing everything that has made it a success this season endlessly for future seasons.

They have no choice but to revamp!
by Mogwai Democracy
Apr 30th, 2007
07:02:51 PM
They've run the whole terrorist/disaster thing straight into the ground. The sad thing is THIS is the season that should have been the revamp! They had it all set up: Jack comes back after being tortured & not speaking for nearly 2 years. He's all fucked up, scars all over his body. Mentally, he's not all there. The only reason his government gave a shit enough to get him back was so he could sacrifice himself. He agrees because he WANTS to die. He is finished as an agent & as a human being. His job & circumstances have finally robbed him of his humanity & his will to live. He's a shell of the man we met in season 1. He escapes by RIPPING SOME GUYS THROAT OPEN WITH HIS TEETH! So far so good!

Then, he starts running around like old times. He just happens to find a cell phone & starts using GPS & running around barking orders & dropping guys with one shot & following leads... and the whole show starts to take a nosedive. This should have been the season of the fucked-up Bauer, the both physically & mentally crippled Bauer. 2 years of torture & solitary confinement? Come on! He should not have been able to run at all. His marksmanship should have been way off. He should have been all twitchy & had problems clearing his head enough to think clearly. He should also have went rogue almost immediately! FUCK CTU & the White House after abandoning him!

Seeing him go about attempting to go after the nukes while being at 50% capacity (at best) would have been AWESOME! The writers had all of the pieces in place to make this an incredible & tragic season & they fucked it up completely. Wayne Palmer, the sister, the retard hacker, the castrated Aaron Pierce, the STILL crazy Martha & the waste of Logan, the waste of Chloe, Toonces as the Almeida wannabe. In each and every case they dropped the ball bigtime.

Heads need to roll @ 24 headquarters & whoever was responsible for the bad choices made this season needs to be looking for another job, pronto. Hopefully, next season will have a fresh approach & some new blood creatively. The question is will they still have an audience?

What it boils down to is, "Heroes" may be better written that its cast, and Kiefer Sutherland's performance is better than "24".
I just think that...

Heroes is overhyped. I like the show. I also think it is better than 24 this season. That is without question and anyone who thinks otherwise has lost it. I am just sick of people acting like Heroes is the best thing to ever grace TV. If the show is still in it's sixth season I will admit as much. I think the problem with 24 is that the terrorist/WMD/CTU/conspiracy in the Whitehouse crap is done. The format has all sorts of possible stories that could be told in it. I read an article with David Fury recently where he was saying how every season they try to do something different but it always ends up the same ol' thing. But now Gordon himself is admitting the problems they had writing this season. I just hope he keeps his word on doing something completely different next year. If it is the same ol' shit then no one will be watching, including me.
I can't believe Heroes is still in its first season.

I have been saying the same thing for years!! I loved S5. It was mostly more of the same but the actors (Especially The Logans) really knocked it out of the park. I think part of the problem is that Joel Surnow wants the show to be about the War on Terror. He is a staunch neocon Republican and uses every chance he gets to shove the Bush agenda down people's throats. Last season was very popular. The show even won an emmy. So what do the writers do? They give us more of the same because last year is generally considered a high point for the show and it was more of the same (Just better written, acted, and more suspenseful than S6). Now, they see the ratings are crumbling and they know something has to change.

Seriously, another example of how wrong-headed this year has been...in the hands of writers with better control of the characters, that whole exchange with the 'don't arm bombs for terrorists' could've led to a hilarious and honest interplay between the two. But what do we get? More moping and whining and high-school level emoting. Suckfest. Goddamn it.

I think the show has been a lot better since the Jack Vs Fayid smackdown a few weeks back. Is it really good? No, it is not. But I have enjoyed the Audrey/Chinese arc more than all those rehashed, cliche WMD episodes with the drone plans and stock villians nonsense. I also think Biscuit and Powers fuckin Boothe are doing a damn good job with the material they are given. The Biscuit facial expressions tonight were funny as shit to me some reason. The whole terrorist/WMD/CTU crap is done and no matter how they try to reinvent it just don't work anymore. Just come up with another idea for a really bad day and put Jack in it. The show can go on forever if they just put him in different crisis beside this well worn "War on terror" neocon wish fullfillment. It is done, writers. Done. Let it go!

I'm watching this show out of duty at the moment. There have been great moments, there has been some good acting, there have been a few moments when you kind of got the feeling the writers had a plan...but, for the most part, this entire season has been a total mess. It's almost like Keifer got his $40 million, became the executive producer, took a few eightballs and then called a meeting: "WE'RE GONNA BLOW UP LA!! ACTUALLY, JUST VALENCIA! FUCK VALENCIA! CURTIS, YOU'RE FUCKED! WHO DO I LIKE, WHO DO I LIKE...RENA SOFER, FUCK YEAH! SHE'S MINE THIS SEASON! NEXT SEASON, HEIDI FUCKING KLUM!!!" "Uh, Mr. Sutherland, how are we going to stretch that out over 24 episodes?" "FUCK KNOWS!" A few hours later, Keifer's on a downer: "...I just want to be loved...doesn't anyone...don't any of you understand? Where's Audrey? I love her...I love her so..." When the two best options to wrap this season are a) Jack waking up and it was all a dream or b) Jack getting shot in the head by William Devane you know the show has a problem.
I think this season had a lot of potential...

...but it didn't seem to have the patience to stick with anything. It started off great, with some fantastic ideas, and then just sorta...fizzled out. Assad? Great character. Ooops, 6 episodes, DEAD. Nuclear bomb going off in LA? Great idea! Ooops, a few hours later, people are partying in a nightclub. Jack's dad is the evil mastermind? Okay, a little hard to swallow, but...ooops! Phillip's disappeared! Jack has a mental breakdown from months of torture and having to kill his friend? Ooops, now he's a super agent again, killing lead terrorists in amusing ways! (Okay, that one was worth it.) The point is, they need more focus. This season has been incredibly convoluted and just...just all over the place. Did everyone else forget that Kumar was in this season? Cuz I totally just remembered that! It seems like it was from a different season all together!

In the past who was in charge of what was always in constant flux. Bill B gets fired in the fianl episodes? Nothing. Back in the day CTU would have, like 4 bosses in the course of a day. The show is better when folks other than Jack are forced to step up and do the right thing. It wasn't perfectly done but having Doyle, Nadia, the acting President AND Jack all having to step up and make legitimate hard choices helped add some tension. And Heller smacking Jack when he's down was awesome. I just wish it was HBO so the line could have been, "You're cursed Jack. Everything you touch turns to shit."

how I would rank the seasons
by Demosthenes2
May 1st, 2007
04:10:22 AM
5, 1, 3, 4, 6, 2 5 had the most fluid arcs of any season; even though the writers have admitted they're flying by the seat of their pants with no season plan, you couldn't tell this time. Charles and Martha made us forget David and Sherry. 1 had the most intense drama with Nina and uhh Kim's mom (Teri?) in spite of an off-course third quarter (amnesia?). This was the only season Kim had an engrossing plotline. 3 had a rocky start but the virus arc in the latter half was perhaps the most suspenseful threat ever in terms of how it was portrayed, and Michelle really stepped up to the plate in the crisis as a female Jack, which the show could use another of. Having a new cast at the beginning of 4 was considerably jarring, but that made us value Tony and Michelle even more when they returned. Chloe was transformed from an annoying character to a lovable one. Behrooz's mom was great, but I didn't warm up to Audrey yet; a little too cold. 6 has been all over the place, and the quality of the episodes have been remarkably inconsistent, from really good to boring next week. Characters keep disappearing. Jack's dad? His sister-in-law? The Logans? Wayne's sister and her boyfriend? Of course some characters can't stick around all season, but they just vanished without any seen departure. 2 was the wonkiest season, uhh mountain lion? But the sister's reveal was one of the show's best surprises. I liked Jack's love interest and was sorry she didn't stick around.

The South Park 24 episode, or this episode. It's like 24 for dummies. Heller comes in and says Jack is cursed. COME ON???? Really, those are the words of wisdom he has. I blame the pilot if my daughter goes skydiving and while landing turns into a face of a mountian and smashes herself all up. Okay bad example, but AUDRY IS AN ADULT -- she got what she wanted. its only 3 episodes left because the 2 hr finale that ends this day is 2 hrs... i rate the seasons like this 5,4(they go together because 4 is what made the 5 season one best 4 episode beginings and set the pace for great season, i hope they do this with this season...)1,2,3,6 till this season 3rd was worst because had most boring ending and like season they had no clue how do that season they just wanted to kill nina and sherry(i miss them best villians) but great thing is season 3 is an example this show can fix its problems... i hope they get new actors and a new lead.. and start 24 fresh while rest make a great prequel movie on how baur became the guy he is(keifer has sad thats one thing he love show is what in keifers past would make him be way he is, and realizes u cant do that in real time format, but u could in a movie) think a movie as prequel u could find out how nina became the greatest mole in 24 history, how david sherry meet and got into poltics what happened jack and his family and how he became guy that belives this country should come first.... and also have tony in it... that be great movie and they could do this while making a show with maybe chlo and pres daniels and rest bunch news guys set maybe 5-6 years in future where jack is dead and long buried.

the first season had 8.1 million viewers season 2 7.1 million and season 3 9.1 but time they reached may it was a low 5.1...(hence they said change format to january-may) most people didnt watch season 1-3 until they were on dvd... and dont forget they sighned show for 3 more seasons last year and a deal make one movie... they said they might have wait till this 3 year deal ends make the movie... also do u ever look at ratings other then house, american idol(and only reason house is hight on ratings is because shocker its on ager idol just like that gay 5th grade crap) 24 is one fox highest rated shows and higher then er, and all law and orders and they aint going anywhere soon... also its been getting same ratings as lost (its 11 milion) but that shows only on 3rd season, and abc is going keep it on for another 2 at least maybe 3. if they keep simpsons on forever and it averages probaly less 9 million viewers 24 is save for while. I have hated the majority of this season, but I thought they got back to the basics of what makes 24 strong this episode. (That said, I still think it needs a massive revamp next year.) I liked the character interplay between Heller, Jack, Audrey, Nadia, Doyle, and even the VP. Heller's end line was very strong, because Jack can never have enough tragic emotional baggage as far as I'm concerned. Maybe there's hope to salvage this thing yet.
I just hope they go smaller next season

No White House politics. No moles/spies/tools. Just Jack, Aaron Pierce, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nadia (the best thing of this season), and Zombie Tony working to make the world safe for men in platform shoes.
Solid episode

Not great, mind you, but solid. This was an episode where things started to seem a bit more like classic 24. A number of characters that were previously annoying suddenly became likeable. The VP became humanized & more sympathetic. Doyle breaking protocol to help Jack was great, and Nadia showing a little backbone and stepping into her (temporary?) role as CTU boss was also welcome. Great to see DEVANE back, just wish he had more of an expanded role in this episode. Yeah, it was very cold how he dealt with Jack, but it's easy to see his point: everyone within a 10 mile radius of Jack sooner or later (usually sooner) ends up DEAD (except for the retard hacker).

I just can't find myself caring about the Morris/Chloe drama. Chloe with a guy is just weird, anyway. She's much better solo. And the whole breakup thing just feels like a setup for another "Morris in danger" episode. As soon as I heard that Chinese guy say "your going to need to find someone else to arm the chip" I thought: "Oh FUCK NO not Morris AGAIN!!!!?"
That was an interesting way to end it.

The cliff hanger was essentially Audrey's father being mean to Jack. It's not as if "stay away from her" has any currency; what happens when she gets better and asks to see Jack? Also, note to Fox: If you'd made Nadia acting director of CTU 8 episodes ago, I totally wouldn't have noticed how crappy this season was.

Why all the piling on Audrey???? Come on...her father was kidnapped, her brother tortured, her husband killed, her father almost killed, her boyfriend was shot dead, then he was alive, then she almost bled to death, she broke her ankle & almost had to be put down .....OH WAIT....that was Barbaro (sorry, easy mistake), had her new series cancelled by ABC & finally she was captured & tortured by the Chinese.

Won't the budget skyrocket if they take the show overseas or to a new local? Wouldn't they have to pay for lodging and feeding the crew if they shoot in a different location.? Also, I doubt Keifer wants to spend 6 months working 18 hour days far away from home and his family. He'll probably drink himself to death. Then again, they could just film it and say that it's taking place in a different location, but that would suck balls.

The Musical/Comedy Version of 24...

It'll never happen, but I think that is a great idea. Everybody else can parody 24. And 24 can unintentionally parody itself. Wouldn't it be fun if all the major players of 24 came back and intentionally parodied themselves for a full season? All the actors would be back from the dead spoofing themselves. The cougar could roll around on roller skates. Imagine songs the only lyrics of which are "Dammit!" "Do it now!" and/or "There's not enough time!" I wonder if Kiefer can sing.

...I'm thinking it won't even be a kidnap-and-die-by-torture sort of thing, though. I think Morris might intentionally give himself to the Chinese under the guise of helping them with the component. Then he'll blow them all up along with himself as a noble redemptive act for his earlier failing.

The ratings drop...
by Alonzo Mosely

Fox blamed it on the lead in show being Drive... They are now trying reruns of House, which will again be blamed for the dropping ratings so 24 is safe for next year no matter what...

They are not going to set 24 out of the US, but they could make it out of Toronto and set it in whateverville USA and it would probably be cheaper than LA anyway.

I still think that the break should have come in season 5, they had a great ending to 4, with Jack 'dead'. 5 could have had Jack anywhere in the US, and getting drawn into some terrorist or other event, and not being able to rely on CTU. Eventually he could have called on Chloe and Buchannon and Tony/Michelle and Palmer as they knew he was alive, and there we would have our special guest apperance to give us geekgasm through the season. Eventually, in the last 6 episodes of the season he could have had to fully reveal himself, reinvolve CTU, the Chinese are alerted and it ends the same way with him being kidnapped by the Chinese. Then season 6 would be Jack escaping from the Chinese, or Jack being forced on a suicide mission for the Chinese, who would kill Audrey if he didn't comply. Audrey gets killed but Jack makes it back to the US for season 7 where he now lives as a total recluse and has no time for anyone but himself. Queue natural disaster that forces Jack to reconnect with humanity as he saves lives against nature rather than bad guys, and discovers that he can feel again... Do I need to go on? Each season still utilizing the 1 day in the life, but each one taking a step further away from the CTU chasing evil terrorists idea.

"Someone who has been dead for a long, long time?"

Well, Tony hasn't been dead that long, so that doesn't sound right. The thing is that I can't think of a single deceased character on 24 that we could interpret as merely presumed dead. All the major characters that have died have dialogue or corpses onscreen to support the deaths. The Audrey "death" earlier this season was notable because of that very facet of it: it was obviously able to be forged - something we had never seen before on 24.

Hence, I am extremely wary of this potential plot twist. I don't know how they'd sell it without becoming too soap-opera-ish. 24 might resort to melodrama, and it does require a substantial suspension of disbelief, but one of its greatest strengths is that it has always been grounded in very strict tragic realities, as perfectly established and encapsulated in Teri's season-one-ending death. I'd love to see Tony Almeida back as much as anyone, but the idea of bringing someone back from the dead seems dangerously close to completely undermining the 24 universe (if it hasn't been undermined already).

Supposely it is someone who has been dead for a while. It is also supposed to be VERY SHOCKING. I agree that bring back Tony does seem a bit silly and like something out of a bad soap opera. Having said that, do the writers really have any other cards to play at this point? This hasn't been a very popular season with the critics or the fans. Next year is supposed to be something very different. I think they want to throw the fans a bone and hope they win some of their audience back next season. I personally think it could go either way. I like Tony. He was never a favorite of mine but I do think his death was mishandled. And after some of the outlandish shit they have pulled this season, bringing someone back from the dead isn't that far fetched. I think any sense of realism died back when in season 3 when Tony returned to work after being shot in the neck.

Didn't anyone notice that Chloe disappeared for the last part of this episode : my prediction is that SHE gets kidnapped by the Chinese and Morris chuckles at CTU as she fixes their problem with the SD chip or whatever it is. Also the person who comes back is.... Dennis Hopper from Season 1 (crosses fingers)

Tonys death was just weird by 24 standards. When people die on 24, they DIE. It's usually pretty cut and dry. Drazen: shot about 30 times. Chapelle: bullet to the back of the head. Nina: shot multiple times. Palmer: bullet to the throat. Edgar: nerve gas death in front of everybody. Michelle: car bomb. Mason: heroes death piloting a nuke into the desert.

...but Tony gets an injection?! First of all, we don't know what was in the syringe. Second, we don't know what kind of dose Tony got. His arm got twisted around by Henderson & he got the shot at some kind of weird angle in his chest, not exactly precision work. Did the dose go into a vein, or into a muscle? Was it enough to kill him or just put him in a coma & make him look dead? We've never heard his death referred to by any other characters (unlike David Palmer & Michelle), and of course: no silent clock. There is a lot of wiggle room there if they want to bring him back. Other than Tony, I can't really see who else they could conceivably go with.
Could be Henderson?

If next season is Tony and Jack working together on something that has nothing to do with terrorism or CTU I will be very pleased. I don't care how lame or idiotic it is to bring a character back from the dead. It we get a fresh approach with some Bauer/Soulpatch action I am will for it. It sure as hell beats Drone planes and cardboard Russian stock villians. I don't really see how it could be other than Tony. Anyone else would either be too silly or too underwhelming. It is Logan then this will be lamest season finale ever.

Just watched the episode on dvd. Keifer popped him twice at close range, then they showed a close up of him lying on his back with blood flowing from his mouth, not moving, at which point Keifer walked away. He was shown one more time a bit later in a split screen, lying on a stretcher, still with the blood at his mouth (he was being carted off. no one was attempting any life saving measures.) I'd say he's pretty dead.

Give me some delicious Myers action. Let Audrey die and have Jack hook up with the only woman he has ever loved who has been worthy. It happens right about the time when Jack finally flips to the dark side after realizing that the US doesn't give a crap about him. That, or just do away with CTU for a season. Just Jack, Chloe, Soulpatch and maybe Special Agent Spoons. CTU is chronicly dysfunctional and working at cross purposes. A four man group would work better.

the 3 year deal was for Kiefer, not the show itself. Gordon admitted this on the Larry King interview they did to plug the 6th season in January. Yes, 24 still brings in solid ratings, but it's also an outrageously expensive show to produce. If it's dropped that much in the 18-49 group(the only rating that matters for advertizers) then it is a concern for FOX.

I don't think you're right about that. First, I thought that in the beginning of the very next episode we saw them put the body bag over Tony's head. I could be wrong about that, but if there's anything that signifies death, that would be it. Second, Tony's death was referred to in dialogue, and I am absolutely certain about that. Just before Jack shoots Henderson in cold blood, he invokes the names of all three of his friends that had been killed that day - Palmer, Michelle, and Tony.

That all said, I've got a rather tenuous justification for bringing Tony back: CTU faked his death to protect him. There had already been an attempt on his life that day. There wasn't much time between that injection and the body bag for cooking up a plan, Jack had already been flushed out of hiding, and there's no reason Jack couldn't have been told about it, so it's still fairly ridiculous. But I guess it's an angle they could take. Given that Jack was kidnapped 12 hours later and he was embroiled in action in the field, maybe they just never got a chance to tell him. Or maybe CTU thought a vengeful Jack was a more productive Jack. :- )

That said, I still go back to the exact language of the spoiler, assuming it is correct. A "long, long time"? That doesn't sound like Tony. That sounds like season 3 or earlier.

Is on 'Bones' tonight, which has greatly improved from the first season by the way, if still not really committed to completely arcing it's storylines or character developments. But they've gelled into a pretty decent ensemble for a procedural. Besides, Jericho annoys me, and I actually prefer to watch the 2-hour replay of the Red Sox rather than watch another of these ridiculously long American League games live. AL games should only be 7 innings.

and was referred to as being dead. You can't bring him back with any sense of logic. He was originally going to die alongside Michelle at the start of the season, then they decided to stick him in a coma to have him die later when the series needed a dramatic moment. It never really worked out so they gave him the throwaway death.

I have a horrible feeling it will be Logan, because he 'died' in an ambulance right at the end of an episode, he could very easily have been revived, after all he was in an ambulance. More interestingly there was never another mention of his death, and it would be the norm for Buchanon to say something in the next episode. It also wasn't mentioned in those subtle Fox News broadcast they put in every now and again. They very purposely left an opening for Logan to return. Sure he hasn't been dead for a 'long, long time' but TV guide is hardly that accurate.

Otherwise who is it. Sherry Palmer? David Palmer? Nina Myers? Teri Bauer? Drazen? I mean they all got pretty clear-cut deaths. Who else? Maybe Marwan escaped his plunge with a sprained ankle or steven saunders survived being shot. I've racked my brain and I don't see one meaningful 'dead' character they could bring back without it being a blatant retcon. Still it is something to look forward to...

For a series that lives on plot twists, whomever the spoiler refers to must be massively surprising to have any effect. I think we're all numb it now, so short of them shooting and killing Jack, it's not going to be a big deal. And even Jack's been "dead" before.
