Wouldn't this be the first non-Rush Hour movie Tucker's done in 8 years if it happens.
Oh, I ever do hope he does

Friday was a classic and Chris Tucker was the absolute best part about it. I thought the series ran its course but Tucker could actually put some fire back into it. Consider me very interested. One other thing. I've been a fan of Cube since back to NWA days but I gotta admit I'm pissed his new movie beat out my Grindhouse this weekend. Bah! But oh well. What can you do? If you're like me... you're going to see Grindhouse again. Peace.
Let's just forget those other two sequels happened

the original was a classic, thanks in large part to Tucker. I was always a bit turned off by him though turning down the sequels and wanting more money and all. I was just thinking he hasn't done anything besides Rush Hour and from what I understand he's a bit of a recluse. The Rush Hour films were ok but for the life of me I can't remember anything about them. It also always bugged me that after the first Rush Hour he all of a sudden became a $20 mil a pic guy, never quite understood that.

...if I was Cube, I would say "F U" to Tucker...sure, he made the first movie what it is, but he's a money-grubbin lil bastard who isnt grateful to Cube for that chance...Tucker should learn from the cast of the Ocean movies and not be so-much of a money-whore...so I say, F Tucker up his lil A for bein a B...

Haven't seen the sequels, don't care to. But if Ice Cube and DJ Pooh (Red) write the screenplay, F. Gary Gray directs again, and Chris Tucker plays Smokey, I'll most definitely be there opening night.
PUH-LEESE, Chris Tucker only does Rush Hour movies.

The story and direction was lame. The trouble with the third film was that there was no straight man, everyone was mugging for all they were worth and it just turned into a big steaming turd.

His bug eyes, fast talk, and Michael Jackson references are old. This won't happen...the Friday franchise is dead in the toilet water.

He rarely makes movies these days (only when they're titled Rush Hour) and he still gets paid $20 million. Easy money.

I can't stand that douche. He was grating after about 20 seconds of that movie - and any other movie - he's in. That high pitched crap spewing out of his mouth. Ice Cube needs to tell that fucker to take a fucking hike. The douche has only done the Rush Hours after that and they suck due to his "I'm so funny" schtick. Tell that no talent "Where have you been Chris Fucker" to take a fucking leap Ice Cube!
Screw all you Chris Tucker haters, and he ain't greedy.

You think this man gives a shyt what some of you losers think? Hell no. I respect him cause the man stays in his lane. He had good successs after those Rush Hour films and was offered a ton of projects. He didn't do any of them cuase he wasn't interested. Sure tucker could've jumped in the fast lane for the money and did movie after movie, but he didn't. Say whast you wasnt but tucker was A list and may still be. Hollywood saw a bankable comedic actor and he could've demanded 20 million for his next projects but he didn't, which makes me question some who says he's greedy. For not whoring himself out to Hollywood I respect him, cuase he sure had a hell of a chance to make more money then he got for just those The Rush Hour films.
I used to love Ice Cube. Also used to love Chevy Chase

They were both edgy motherfuckers doing their thing better than anyone did. Now, they are reduced to fucking kids movies......oh well, I still got my copy of Modern Problems and Straight Outta Compton. But Eazy-E would have bitch slapped Ice Cube for the fluff he puts out now.

Why would he not want to be part of a Friday sequel ,but he would do two Rush Hour Sequels. Friday and the sequels afterwards were great movies, the first film was indeed an instant classic. I hope this rumor is true.

CHRIS TUCKER RULES
by Toby___Wong
Apr 9th, 2007
02:15:29 PM
He rules because he is enjoying his life. He also isn´t greedy like most actors who demand billions for a cameo. You can do nothing but respect Tucker for not appearing all over the screen 6 times a year. He picks his roles and shines in them. It´s not about the quantity, it´s about quality. Tucker is quality whether you like or don´t like it.

...CT is over-rated...I mean, what black comedian HASNT done a Jackson impersonation? sure, he was funny on Def Comedy Jam, but he wasnt near the funniest...also, he doesnt have nearly enough movies to be classified as a A-list, and lets think bout his movies...5th Element, tight as hell but it wasnt because of him...Friday, funny as hell because of him...Money Talks, funny...Rush Hour(s), good ONLY cuz of Chan teamin wit someone who speaks English...Jackie Brown, good but not cuz of CT...so tell me, how does he deserve a A-list status?

...what movies of Tuckers made a lot of money? I know Rush Hours did good, but what else?...and I think Rush Hour would have been good wit any actor, I mean, didnt Shanghai Noon do good wit then somewhat unknown Owen Wilson?...all u need in RH is someone counter-actin Chan and sayin "I cant understand you"...Im sure even Dane Cook could do that...
re: captboulder part deux
by mr ahole ramirez
Apr 9th, 2007
03:32:39 PM
...at the time, I had no idea who Owen Wilson was and Im sure no one else did..."oh thats the guy that died in the spaceship crash in Armageddon and who wore a cowboy hat"...Shangai Noon made Owen famous and before that Im sure he was a unknown...and youre right, RIGHT NOW U CANT replace Tucker in RH cuz he is the movie just like Chan cuz its a FRANCHISE...but before it was made, u could have any comedian or actor play Tuckers part...it doesnt take that much talent to play a cocky cop who cant understand the words thats comin out his partners mouth...
...meet the parents?...
by mr ahole ramirez
Apr 9th, 2007
04:21:03 PM
...so you tellin me that a small bit part in Meet the Parents made him famous, compared to a movie where he got his face on the poster and top billing? that doesnt make sense...and like I said, anyone teamed up wit Chan could make a profitable movie, I mean, SN made 100 mill, and that was wit a guy who really didnt have a followin like Tucker did...
...
by mr ahole ramirez
Apr 9th, 2007
05:12:35 PM
...I agree Chan was the star, but dont act like they didnt say Owens name in the commercials or have his face on the poster...the way you makin it seem, Owens part in SN was as small as in the Cable Guy...and you were sayin that a lil 5 minute part in a movie got Owen famous instead of a whole movie where he co-STARRED in...and I may be makin light of chemistry, but you cant honestly say that anyone couldnt have been in Rush Hour and still have the same results...

All I needed to know was Chris Tucker wasn't in 'em. Friday without him in it would be like watching The Three Stooges with only 1 or 2 stooges. Funny, maybe, but not as funny as it should be.

by BillyPilgrim

...the words coming out of my mouth? Not with Ice Cubes cock in your gob! It would be comedy gold if Tucker had an electric voice box and spoke German through the entire movie.
