"Something bad happened here". No shit sherlock. I think the blood & guts all over the train carriage might have given that away.

pussy this guy is not. A great actor. Y'know a friend of mine passed Willem Dafoe in the street in Glasgow and Molina in London, when he told me this i had to say 'you walked past Doc Ock and the GG', he liked that.
Nice job, Quint

I cannot tell you how friggin excited I am for this. Just got done re-reading this for college. Molina as Touchstone is awesome casting. Add to that Bryce Dallas Howard and Kevin Kline and it sounds like a good film. Sad note is that I hear Branaugh might not act. :(

It was cool seeing Alfred Molina come up from basically being an extra in Raiders to an accomplished actor who has come out in some great movies. Also being one of the more recognized Latino actors, he has paved a way for others to follow suit.

As far as dodgy, late night, nothing-else-on watches go, not too bad, and Molina's line regarding life being all about 'the green and the pink' was brilliant.

'My Life Without Me'.... In which Molina has another small role, as the imprisoned father, but totally nails it. I too love the man. That guy truly has "the power of the sun in the palm of his hand!"

on the Spidey 2 dvd documentary end credits are fucking hilarious. Crack me up every time. "Most dialogue i've had in months!"..... classic.
I am puzzled why AICN ass-kisses so much

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Molina's work, but to refer him to a man-god? I mean that these headlines are just ridiculous. AICN loses credibility by calling Species a great movie.
Lets's not forget Hancock...

Molina very memorably played Tony Hancock, the troubled yet absolutely brilliant performer, for a BBC Screen Two piece in the late 1980's. Best performance I saw him give - ever...

Don't forget that he shows up, and adds a bit of class to, among other movies: IDENTITY, CHOCOLAT, CABIN BOY, NOT WITHOUT MY DAUGHTER and PRICK UP YOUR EARS. There's probably hundreds of other too. Fellow Brits might recall an early 1990s UK TV cop shop, EL C.I.D - he was storming in that too.
One of the better character actors...probably ever...

This guy is a chameleon. He's one of those actors who could fit into anything and make it credible. He's got an ambiguous look that makes him suitable to play people of different nationalities. In fact, I recall seeing an interview with him where he joked about the fact that he's British yet rarely seems to play one.

was from "The Man Who Knew Too Little", said in a thick Russian accent. He played a hit man who is bested by the bumbling Bill Murray characer: "Me and (my wife), we go open butcher shop. But you will always be my brother."

I first remembererd Molina (and Oldman) from the first Stephen Frears movie I saw, Prick Up Your Ears (Ears, Arse, Ass, get it?) Both were electric onscreen and hardly known yet. My first memory of him, buggering Oldman. How classy is that?

Such a silly classically bad film. Well, I guess bad is a matter of perspective. I love it, but I know many who loathe even mentioning that flick. Alfred Molina rocks!

At the the place where I go to acting class. They do a monthly thing kind of like inside the actor's studio, and students get to have a discussion with different people from the business. I'm seeing him April 15th.

When they announced the casting for Spider-man 2, it was like "You probably don't know this guy but he was in Raiders..." and everyone was like "Who?" Now he's a man-god with an incredibly prolific career. Geeks.
