but where are the fake trailers, missing reels, and zombies? There isn't too much dialogue is there? I'd hate that.

Good flick - slow, but never boring

Much like The Proposition, the film is very slowly paced. Too often people confuse this with boring, which is not the case. Simmons is cast entirely against type as the psychic and, though only in the film for a total of about 10 minutes, is great. As is Pierce, who, The Time Machine not included, consistently delivers. Also, Piper does a fine job of looking hot. As for the actual plot, we're ultimately asked to consider two possible scenarios: 1) As we've learned from the Final Destinations movies, can we truly not cheat death? Or 2) as Sarah taught John Connor, is there no fate but the one we make for ourselves? I'll never tell, but it's a really good flick.
If Guy Pearce is in it...

and still thinking about it...not perfectly executed but good story and Guy Pearce is always fucking mesmerizing...he's got that Johnny Deppesque charisma. The rest of the cast was good as well...worth checking out.
I was minorly disappointed...

It is good, but not great. The main character is very well developed, but the peripheral characters (work friend, girlfriend, underling etc) are all underdeveloped and there are some minor pacing issues. Not the speed, but the when things happen during the runtime is what I am referring to.

That said I would still recommend it to anyone who loves character movies and having to think about what they have just seen. Most importantly this movie made me excited about seeing what the future holds for these writers/director, I have a feeling this is an early step on the road that will produce some amazing movies...
