Just call Harry's movie "Harry's Ghost Town". I'm not sure if it'll work, but if it's a hit you could have more movies with the word "Harry's" preceeding the title.

And dude, David Koepp doing a romantic comedy? And what especially cracks me up is I've seen Gervais say in interviews that he enjoys having the freedom now to say yes ONLY to the projects he really wants to do, that apparently in the wake of The Office he's been offered a ton of simple movie roles and turned them down. So.. ehh... THIS is the kinda thing you've been waiting for, Ricky? eeek.
But c'mon though...

It's so much fun to poke fun at Big Red and Mori because their responses are more amusing than the insults. I forget what Drew said exactly but it was something simple like, "So far this week I've been called an assbag, fucknose, dickhole, and penus-face." and when Harry 'thanked' us in TB for basically forcing him to show his Blade 2 review to Yoko because of us, that was classic! In the end though, I agree with *you* more power to both of them that they actually 'work' for the industry rather than 'talk' about it like most of us all. With all that said, at least let us call them fuckwads and assknobs from time to time as long as it's all in fun. I actually blame Mori and Harry for being so witty, if it weren't for their hilarious retorts I wouldn't feel compelled to be immature and insulting.

"Ghost Town" is an uninteresting title anyway. Come up with another one, Harry. Ask your friends or associates who have read your screenplay what they think would be a good alternate title. Many times the original author of a script (or novel) picks the worst title.

I've heard that after The Office he turned down dozens of projects, some that became huge hits like Pirates... But this film he has to do? I don't know. Sounds pretty rotten. And neither he nor GK are really known for thrillers. Will this be funny? I don't think I can get behind this. I'll just patiently wait for Stardust.

Regardless of whether Harry picked the title, and regardless of this different movie to star Ricky Gervais, the title sounds generic. Is Harry's version an Old West horror? Well, "Ghost Town" doesn't describe that kind of movie well at all. Hell, it doesn't describe this Ricky Gervais vehicle well either.
Oh, the irony

A dentist who dies briefly during dental surgery? That is fucking genius right there. To make full use of the premise, the dead people our hero talks to should only want help with their teeth - bridge work, root canals and suchlike. Imagine the side-splitting, uproarious laughs as generic comedy actor #19 attempts to practice dentistry on ghosts! Brilliant!

Also, dentists are not in films enough. Not since that LA Law guy in The Dentist (also, The Dentist 2) have we had a good one.

AND this movie will be nonsense...a comedy of errors...the error being why it was made. I am in a bad mood now.
IMDB lists another to-be-released GHOST TOWN...
by Jim Jam Bongs
Mar 28th, 2007

There's one listed that is set for release on November this year. It's a western, but I didn't see Harry's name listed in the production credits. Maybe this movie will undergo a name change, or maybe the Ricky Gervais version will. But the fact that there are three movie projects using this title, all within just a year apart, should be proof enough that the title GHOST TOWN sucks. All three projects should come up with new titles.

"It takes what, 15 minutes to type a movie review" WOW!!! are you a complete retard? seriously, I'm not trying to ba an ass, are you? That's quite insulting to the craft of writing...while not a critic, I do write an occasional review on my lame blog, I certainly don't spend as much time and thought as I should, but it's more than 15min. I'm working at making a movie the middle of this year, directing is my dream, and I'm as far from a writer as you can get, I illustrate, do graphic design...I constantly struggle writing my script...there is far, far more thought behind the final word's we all see written.

Yeah stud...I'm a retard as you put it so politely. I have a MySpace site FILLED with underground movie reviews. About 40. Takes me about 15 minutes to write one. They are light in tone and well worded (for a retard that is. Hang on, I just drooled on my keyboard). But I type fast. I want a real Grindhouse review.
