I, too, love that guy. Good actor (I only recently discovered he's a Hackney lad), so I hope he gets a decent support role in this one.

It can't be bad with Scott and Denzel and Russell...

Sounds like she's got a small role. That's probably for the best, as I'd hate to have to play with myself in a crowded theater.

The actor that plays Stringer Bell is Idris Elba, he was in this absolutely awful soap called Family Affairs on Channel 5 before hopping across the pond.

just from reading the names ridley scott, russell crowe, ruby dee, nick nolte, idris elba(stringer bell!---yaaay!) denzel washington & other great players, this could be the movie of the year in almost any genre. ridley scott certainly knows what he is doing, and it's about time for him to work again with russell crowe. denzel washington will always put his best professional foot forward, as will all the remaining cast. guess it'll be a long wait for this thing to release around thanksgiving. looking forward to a great show!

i haven't been this excited about something just from reading the advance reviews in a looooong time...prolly since reading the jizzgasm last year for 300. which has turned out to be relatively fagola, so i'm glad to be psyched for this gritty manliness. anything reminiscent of 'heat' and 'la confidential''s simmering danger has got my butt in the seat. go ridley!

FYI, Carla's gonna be in the new season of Entourage. For at least part of the time. As Vince's new agent. Temporarily, I'd guess.

Hopefully it's much better, but the story does seem to pass the torch from the Lawrence Fishburne "Bumpy Johnson" storylline to this one.

I've quit using this site for reviews, and now just use the talkbacks to make myself laugh. The reviews here have become so poorly written that you can read a five paragraph review and still not know basic things like what the setting, time period, etc of the movie is. You'll come away knowing how many times the star farts, but not much else.
Sounds fantastic.

My 2 favourite actors, period! Throw Geoffrey Rush in there and I would be in acting heaven.

He was a serios bad-ass in that show as ex soldier now government vampire hunter. If youve never seen Ultraviolet I reckomend you track it down. Most intelligent vampire show ever. Also stars Jack Davenport.
