it's ok, what is really cool is if you open it up in photoshop and mess around with the exposure and add some serious sharpening filters you can see doc ock in the reflection of the glass with letters that say "Just wait... Summer 2009"

Unfortunately, I agree with the PIMP. Both Spider-Man movies have sucked, and part three sounds convoluted. I have no idea how they're going to pull-off the black costume bullshit, Mary Jane's/Peter's romance, Harry Osbourne's bloodlust, the Sandman and Venom all in one film. That script had better be tighter than the Lucas-esque "romantic" scenes suggest ("Tell me you love me!"). Also, isn't Spider-Man supposed to be funny? His best quip so far is, "Here's your change!"

The red Spidey's head position looks really awkward. In fact the whole pose does and the colouring doesn't seem to fit with the black one. If it was fan work I'd say it's great but I would have expected that, for a movie as big as S3, they'd have spent the time getting it perfect. But it's not. It's a bit cack. Ah well. Doesn't matter if the film is good.

...than the next man, and the artwork has always been gorgeous, but recently I've seen a bunch of these new posters for Spidey 3 and though they remain colourful and lovely blah blah blah, they do appear to be getting worse. The photo-realism on this one is.... quite frankly, not very realistic. The colour reflection in particular looks like something one of my students would draw on the blackboard before class.

I thought Batman Begins had the best first half of any comic book-based movie, but the introduction of that shitty Batmobile basically launched that fucker into the Shumacher ham-isphere. As for Spiderman 1-2, all I can say is that at one point in the series the crowd actually sings the fucking cartoon theme song -- for me, due to this, everything else has been rendered a blur of gayness. Oh, and LOL @ "Emo poster -- we get it!" guy.

I mean... im trying to get into it, but i can't get past three things....... 1) I haven't really been THAT dazzled by the previous films (they're ok, but there's something wrong with them) 2) The trailers have left me feeling a little older than the target audience, not to mention the whole 'real killer of ben' twist (weak) & 3) I think this poster should have the reversed images - good spidey looking at dark spidey. that way it would be spidey seeing a peril, where this way it's bad spidey seeing good spidey about to come and reclaim himself..... you know what I mean??

What's with all the Spider-Man 1&2 hate? I love both films for different reasons. They are not perfect, but I don't think they suck either. They happen to be my favourite superhero films along with X-Men 2 and Batman Begins. Also exellent, but imperfect films. What do you people want?!? I can understand the poster hate though, because it's getting kinda repetitive. They need to release a poster with Sandman on it at the very least. Why do people keep saying moronic stuff like: "Just release the damn thing!" Don't they have any idea on how the film business works. The first film broke B.O. records when it was released in May. The second film made a frak-load of cash when released at the same time. You think Sony are going to brake that trend just because some fanboys have no patience and demand it now? Hilarious! Can't wait for Spider-Man 3, May can't come fast enough! :D

He asked to watch both movies a couple times each last week, so naturally I let him, and each time I was reminded just how good they are. Great action, thoughtful storytelling. Toby really does a good job. I hope he doesn't leave the franchise. This is one series that will suffer, like Batman, with a new actor.

Kirsten Dunst revealled last week that sam raimi has given ten years of his life to the Spiderman Franchise and wants a break to do other things. There will be a 4th film at some stage, just not yet....

Killing off a popular character is one thing, but what was so hilariously over the top was they way they mega-killed these characters. 1. In the opening scene, I was all "Okay, Nikki was a stripper" but once the hilariously bad dialog and awful acting in "Expose" began to play out, it was obviously a TV show. Then they killed "Corvette". Oh they joked they could bring her back with a "bullet proof breast" explanation, but there were bullet holes and blood squibs. She were daid. 2. Then she runs out of the jungle, collapses, and Hurley pronounces her daid. So she daid "of unexplained circumstances". 3. Then we learn about the Medusa-bites (new from Nabisco) and think, "Okay, she poisoned daid" Yes, Artz mentioned the paralysis, but Paolo could have been overdosed since he got a massive dose so near his brain. And Nikki, as we saw, recieved a mega-massive dose from multiple bites from "all the male spiders from miles around". 4. And yet her eyes opened and she was alive (we presume ditto Brazillion Wolfgang) just as she was buried, to die of suffocation. (not to mention being crushed if Hugo walked over their graves. Or, if they remained alive but trapped, revived by Island VouDou but unable to dig up from the weight of three/four feet of sand, to drown come winter when the water line rises (as Locke predicted in his "nothing stays buried" speech.) So she was shot, collapsed of unknown causes, was poisoned by multiple Medusa bites and buried alive to be suffocated or crushed... They kilt her times four. Paulo, poisoned, then buried, kilt twict. IF they are revived by the island (and if the island could bring back the dead, that would be a major "gamechanger" for Nathan, Boone, Shannon, Ana Lucia, Libby, Eko, Joanne, either Scot of Steve, etc... not so much for pieces of Artz.) then, unable to dig themselves out, they would die over and over a ain of dehydration, starvation, and in the high-tide winters, drowning. On, not to mention being eaten by insects and burrowing creatures like crabs. Best vision of H*ll since Arvin Sloane gone mad, immortal but eternally entombed, on "Alias". Forget Hitchcock and Serling, an ending like that needs the Crypt Keeper making bad puns about Paulo taking a dump in his sand-box and Nikki writhing around in her ex-position. Bwaa-haa-ha-ha-ha. G'night, kiddies!
